the best way I think one could put is is that, the being used to be human and because of that instead of screaming or making noise it decided to play on that fact by using something that humans would be familiar with. Almost like a.... Psychological camouflage ( I know that sounds straight crazy but just bear with me) if you ever saw the last predator movie then think back to the seen where the predators recorded a sound bite of one of the mercenaries calling for help. It's familiar and close and because of that that much more horrifying. I guess it would also be fairly mocking seeing as the creature is evil and its playing something as innocent as a tiny time song. Bottom line It's supposed to be psychologically jarring like a missile strike that was just a mile shy of its target. Sorry for my weird ass logic its just the way I see it.

My question is; Why is it that living in the sunlight was playing? Was the meta-physical demon thing just trolling them or did it just hear the song somewhere else? Or maybe it's like ultron, where they looked through human media? Idk. Other than that this is my favourite creepypasta.
What would've been fucking amazing is the song slowly playing in the background when it was first introduced and at the end it over powered him speaking and just barely hearing him scream in terror
