I have an 8 year old with years of ground work, he is actually quite phenominal and works at liberty splendidly. Due to an injury I couldn't ride for many years, so am just now riding him. Question: young horses learn from repetition, I have never started riding a horse this late in years, what do you think of the mindset of an older horse starting under saddle? I personally think younger horses are easier, more of a child and more easily influenced.
