Say what you want but Shay did an amazing job in this scene! Her face was so damn sad and it really looked like her heart broke. Plus Troian crying with her in this makes it even more heartbreaking.

Liam Dunphy season 7 was way too confusing. They tried to fit in as much as possible which proved to be bad
It was amazing up until season 5. (But tbh, I feel as though it started going downhill after the first -A reveal.) Even Marlene stated that the show was supposed to end at the 5th season but the company wanted to keep it running until the 7th seasons. Blame marketing for the show's horrible and completely farfetched storyline after season 5.
Emely Garcia I thought it was originally supposed to stop at 3, then when it was continued it was supposed to end at the CeCe reveal. That's what Troian said anyway.
This is one of the best PLL scenes. The music is perfect, Emily's reaction is heartbreaking, and the fact that is is so much like Ali's 'body' being found is amazing

The most painful part of this is seeing Emily and Spencer hysterically sobbing together. Spencer is trying so hard to keep it together for her friend but it hurts her too much to see her reaction.

This scene is very symbolic because they use this same song in the pilot when Emily find out Ali is dead. And maya is the one who tells her! PLL is Genius! 💖
They also use this song when Aria tells Ezra she can’t have kids!
this is such an exceptional scene, even though it's really depressing it is so well done. shay really was amazing in this scene, and the music was perfect. i love how it's the same music used when ali's body appeared, and really the whole scene is similar to that one.

I hated this scene. Maya’s was a mystery I couldn’t get over. The theories of her still being alive until Lindon killed her was haunting.
Shey's acting was so good here but what broke me more was that spencer cried along with emily. Her friend was hurting so much, she felt her pain.
And you all keep commenting how they all cry in each others arm when something happends to their loves, but spencer is the only one who loses her mind because of it.
Let me clear that.
She had a LOT bottled up before that; she taugh the person she loved the most totured her for months, she had a lot of family issues and she was the one who was trying to figure out who A was the most.
And she was ALONE in that wood. No friends to hold her. Nothing. Only thing she could do was to break down.
it really sucks how Emily had to go through it twice!! was it not good enough the first time?? was finding Alison's body not enough pain for Emily? I guess not. Let's just kill Emily's first love and first girl kiss then let's do it AGAIN but this time with her girlfriend!!! yes. sounds like a great plan. -_-' the writers really know how to make Emily's life Hell. And now that she lost Alison's trust, by telling Spencer about her meeting, what more can they do??? Jerks. Leave her alone! She's the sweetest character and Blah!! Sarita Ambrosio LOL dude chill it's just a tv show! and it's not like only Emily goes through all the drama. The other girls have troubles of their own! Like Caleb helping Mona, then Caleb gets shot. Caleb and Hanna had many ups and downs. Hanna was also hit by a car. Spencer spent time in Radley because she thought Toby, who was on the A Team, was dead. She was dead from the inside because she was hurt badly twice in a row (seeing Toby in the black hoody, then seeing a dead body in the forest thinking it was him). Then he was in a car accident which also scared Spencer to death.. And Aria?! Where do I begin? All the Ezria drama! Finding out that Ezra used her just to write a book, he also gets shot, leaving her all broken up... All these girls had their fair share of heartbreaks...not just Emily

Is no one going to talk about the tears in Pam's eyes as she told Emily and reached to hold on to her as Emily basically collapsed in Spencer's arms.
I still have this nagging feeling that Maya's story was too simple, like nothing in Pretty Little Liars is as simple as that; it wrapped up too quickly, or maybe I'm just overthinking. Ezra who was suspicious as hell was writing a freakin book! I just have this feeling that Maya is still alive, even though it's been so long. I still feel like she is, the same way I felt when Alison was presume dead. It's not just the fact that we didn't see her body, even though that is a part of it...Mona is another thing, don't know what to believe with her.
