Another good video from you guys. However, I am confused still as to what constitutes a JDM car. My 2006 Lexus GS300 SE-L was built in Japan, it has some Japanese factory stickers on it, (under the bonnet and in the door shuts), but it was sold new in the UK. My friend, Graham, has a black GS300 first used in the UK by the Japanese Consul in Edinburgh. It was therefore owned by the Japanese government. I see it as a true JDM car. On the other hand, I can buy a right hand drive Cadillac SRX sold new in Japan, (most SEXs were) and imported from there to the UK. These cars clearly state on the door shuts and in the driver's manual "Manufactured for the Japanese Domestic Market". Many European and American cars are made for sale in Japan, are they JDM cars? If not, why not, when huge numbers of Japanese cars are sold (and even made) outside Japan? Answers on a postcard perhaps?
Thanks for my review!
