we also buy some basic groceries while on the way back home like mik,bread,eggs,juice frozen meals etc, small thing but everyone will be so tired nobody wants to make another trip even to the grocery for few days:)

-Make sure your security cameras are fully charged ( if you are using Battery ones )
-Hold your mail at Post office
- We usually Shut the water off .

We leave the cabinet doors open in kitchen and bathrooms during winters. This allow warm air to circulate around exposed pipes under sinks preventing water from freezing in the pipes as temperatures dip.

We always hold mails through USPS if we are going for more than a week. and leave thermostat on Eco mode.
Great reminder about the mail and thermostat. We are diligent about the latter but not the former.
Can you mention about what you do with gas connections to fire place and gas stove? Setting up of water sprinklers? Adjusting thermostats etc
We don’t do anything with gas connections. Sprinkler, depending on the weather we either increase or decrease the frequency. For the thermostat, again depending on the season we increase it decrease it by 4-5 degrees.
