I finished my Invisalign last year, and it was SO ANNOYING but I’m so grateful to myself for putting up with it. Totally agree that it was uncomfortable pretty much the whole time. I had a lisp throughout the entire process! And 12 buttons on all my center front teeth!! I would absolutely never do it again-which is why I’m now the most dedicated nightly retainer-wearer ever hahaha
Coming from a hygienist, Smile Direct is NOT a good choice. They can move your teeth too quickly, which can lead to more problems down the road. See a professional on this, please!
@Amna S I already spent 6,000 dollars on my traditional braces for 2 years and my ortho was rushing the process and gave me Tmj. I just found out about Damon braces and they are 6,000 for 3 years,!!!!! I left my ortho because he was just money hungry and made my treatment longer because he didn't extract my teeth in the beginning of the treatment and them he did extractions which takes really long. I'm never gonna take my children to an orthodontist I'ma make sure they mew.
@@UnavoidableGarbage they would extract teeth for that and give the patient an unhealthy bite same as traditional but the bite would be good and they will both mess around with the jaw joints. But functional orthodontist would push the teeth and not do extractions
So glad you didn’t do smile direct club! I work at an orthodontist office and even with Invisalign, the doctor actually does do all the work, not just the Invisalign company. Send the scan off yes, but they are the ones actually using their billion years of school to write the Rx saying exactly what they want done, edit clinchecks, placement of attachments yadda yadda. Here are the tiers: untrained dental street peddler, smile direct club, a regular dentist and wayyyyyy on the top your licensed orthodontists 🤗
That’s completely subjective. For many people, who tend to have mild to moderate spacing or crowding, smile direct club would give results very similar to Invisalign. There are situations where that isn’t the case, but that’s not every case. There are also tons of people who can’t afford Invisalign or braces and SDC is a chance for them to feel better about themselves. Of course an orthodontist is preferable. That’s like saying a Mercedes is preferable to a Chevy, but not everyone needs or can afford a Mercedes. Having $6k to spend on your teeth is a luxury many people can’t afford. Byte and sdc are making it attainable for people who would otherwise not be able to their teeth
@@uria702 sure totally understand but I would never risk my teeth/dental health. It’s much safer to at LEAST go to your dentist rather than “do your own ortho” and have potential issues. If something is cheap it’s cheap for a reason! If your case is mild enough for SDC to be able to work effectively it’s most likely a super minor cosmetic issue. Anything more you will end up paying $$$ down the line to fix the damage (we’ve seen it a lot unfortunately)
This is a great video!! I am 58 and just finished with my Invisalign. I had to wear mine for 18 months!!!! I agree with everything you said. And I am extremely happy I did it, even though it took so long 😩. Ps. I would soak mine while I ate dinner in Listerine with whitening. Really kept them clean!,
It's so crazy how everyone has different experiences! I'm on my tray 13 and I love my invisalign! I found that if washing them was inconvenient for me at a certain time, I would just rinse the tray, and my mouth. My trays were not painful for me either, sometimes I would feel some pressure but nothing unmanageable. I also never had a lisp, the first 2 days I had invisalign it felt so bulky, but I got used to it super quick and now I don't even feel it! The attachments really help to fasten the process. One thing I would say is that I never wore a lipstick that wasn't nude, because it would get on my teeth at times. I hope it helps someone to have a second opinion! My experience has been a great one.
I’m currently using Invisalign and the best way to clean them is to use denture tablets. I use the Kroger brand, and it literally makes my aligners crystal clear!
I have Invisalign now. The worst part is that my gums occasionally bleed and I will go the whole day smiling and talking to people and then I look in the mirror and realize there has been blood in my aligners the whole day T___T
If your gums are bleeding then this means you have weak gums and has nothing to do with Invisalign. You should floss more often, that'll strengthen your gums.
Your Invisalign was a lot cheaper than a lot of people because you were dealing a relapse situation. FYI, for people who never had braces, 3000 usd is unrealistic. Most annoying part about this treatment is honestly the LISP, everything else is bare-able.
Mine was between $2000-3000 because I went to the same orthodontist i went to as a kid before I didn't wear my retainers and accidentally let them shift. It all depends on how much your teeth have to be moved, how many trays you'll need. It sounds like, like me, she didn't have super crooked teeth that needed a ton of work.
I find myself smiling through your entire videos, Leighann. I adore you! Also, I cracked up when you were talking about removing the trays...”You’re puttin’ on a show!” Hahaha
hahhaha i really considered taking them out on camera but stopped myself because its so graphic id probably get demonetized 🙃when i comment back i always catch myself smiling so big!
I laughed out loud at that one too. Day one for me was this past Thanksgiving (3 days ago!) That would have been a show at the dinner table for sure. And I have so many attachments it’s like you need a tire dismounting pry tool to get them out! LMAO!
It is so helpful to hear the annoying aspects of the experience, I totally thought that popping them off to eat would be something you could do discreetly but hearing you say how much of a hassle it really is, is useful information.
I have Invisalign, my dentist told me to use fairy liquid to clean the trays. Works. A. Charm. Come out looking brand new. Just make sure you rinse them completely.
I've had Invisalign for 2 months. I have to agree with you on the "annoying" part. They are so uncomfortable & I'm always aware of them, feeling so bulky in my mouth. I love it when I take them out for coffee drinking & my 3 meals a day. I do wear them 22 hours, but it feels so good when I remove them since it gives my teeth a break. They don't hurt, and my teeth do feel sore often, but nothing unbearable. I will stick it out however, & I expect a good result in the end. I know it will be worth it. (10 more months)
I'm a dentist and just want to say that IPR, the filing in between the teeth, is super common and as soon as I saw the before photos I knew that you would have had it done.
My invisalign overbite correction made my face look weird is this common? I want to go back :( but my dentist insists it didnt change my face but it clearly did. Im sad.
WOW, I feel like I’m listening to my future self! (This is my EXACT story: same tooth wants to be ‘the star’, need wisdom teeth removed, dentist recommended I do invisalign right after that.) SO GLAD I stumbled upon your channel! Thank you so much for such an informative vid! 💖
This was super helpful! My 11yo daughter is getting braces in a few weeks & the ortho said she could get Invisalign or traditional braces & I thought she’d want Invisalign for cosmetic reasons but she was really worried about having to take them on and off at lunch/gross spitiness in front of her friends/etc so she was leaning towards the traditional & it sounds like that will be the right choice for her!
im so glad it was helpful!! braces were definitely the right choice (idk if invisalign was even a thing haha) for me at that age. eating with braces can be messy but luckily a lot of other kids will be going through the same things and she wont have to waste her lunch time brushing her teeth and messing with trays.
ArielRenee21, How could you possibly leave them in when you eat? I don't see how it would be possible to successfully chew food unless you ate nothing but soup. The aligners make your teeth smooth. How could you chew? Food would get up in the aligners. Hard foods would crack the aligners.
On my 4th tray (weekly). It feels tighter each week so I know it's working. I can already see the one tooth that was annoying me starting to shift in the direction I want it to go. I would NEVER do the mail order trays. This is a real dental treatment and I only trust the pros.
My son did Smile Direct. Didn't go so good. He ended up having to abort the process. I think using an orthodontist a better idea. Thanks for the heads up.
No you didn’t complain too much, I appreciate your complete honesty. I’m in my 60s and I need to do the same thing so thank you thank you thank you! It was also very valuable to listen to you because you’d had both kinds. I like all the questions that you covered!! Bravo Kudos!!🎉❤😊
I was going to get Invisalign but after learning the 22 hours a day rule the thought bothered me to no end so here I am in braces (again). At least I can eat whenever I want and as slow as I want. Oh the things we do for straight teeth! I'm glad you got through it Leighann, you sure have more tolerance for the annoyance than I do :)
I’m 10 months in and I HATED it at first. My teeth look great now. I have become lazy at wearing them though. I definitely don’t wear them enough during the day. I did develop tmj really bad, twice for a few weeks as well. I’m on a weekly tray change. Ortho didn’t think it was related bc it’s supposed to help, however I’m 40 and never had tmj before. That is a horrible experience. Overall definitely worth it! The first thing I notice about people are their teeth. Sounds superficial, but it’s true.
whoa the tmj thing is awful. im sure it is related to the trays! i hope it all clears up when youre done with your treatment. i feel like teeth are a super common first impression thing and even though i kind of love crooked teeth im still happy i did it.
I have REALLY bad TMJ that has caused arthritis in my jaw joints. I considered getting invisalign to actually help the TMJ because my dentist told me braces would help align my teeth, therefore align my jaw. The people at invislign said it may or may not help so I decided against it. I'm kinda glad I did.
Sarah Types it really is supposed to help I think I might have been in the minority. I feel so bad for you. I couldn’t imagine living with it all the time. I could barely eat or sleep.
I had traditional braces at age 14, as the alignment of my teeth was really bad. I didn't develop TMJ dysfunction until I had my wisdom teeth out, which makes sense, of course, because this created more space for my teeth to move around. I worked in a dental office for 6 years, and one thing I learned is that orthodontists are reluctant to admit that braces don't solve everything when it comes to your bite, alignment issues, preexisting TMJ dysfunction, etc. TMJ issues can indeed result from braces, as not only are your teeth being moved, but the bone that supports your teeth is also being changed (the bone growth is being guided in conjuction with & around your teeth). Just something to keep in mind.
I had Invisalign too. My treatment lasted 2 years so I’m sure you can imagine how crooked my teeth were. But I too messed up and didn’t use the retainer so my teeth shifted back. They’re not as crooked as they used to be though. I’m actually considering doing it over again. It’s definitely a hassle taking them off to eat but that was such an insignificant thing to me at the time. I was just happy my teeth were getting straighter. I would recommend them 1000% if you can get them. My treatment cost around $4000 and it was worth every penny. I will easily pay another $4000 again when I get them again. I’m older and hopefully wiser now so this time I’ll make sure to wear the retainer.
I had braces when I was 16 and have had an invisalign retainer for 10 years and I still have a lisp when wearing it! I do soak mine in efferdent every day and it hasn't stained at all. Makes it last longer as well. You look good girl!
Seriously I forgot all about you getting invisaline! However I do remember how your teeth looked before, how wild! I LOVE your smile now just as much as I did before. I’m all for self improvement inside and out ! Everyone judges me for getting laser hair removal on my arms but it’s something I omg I cared about and something that I wanted for myself. I’m FINALLY done with my treatments and couldn’t be happier !
The best thing to do is get scans or prepare for them a month before summer break then get them on the week after summer break starts and you’ll get used to them during summer and you won’t have a lisp in school :)
Omg I can’t believe I didn’t notice how much of a change it made until you made this video! I remembered your one rogue tooth...but I didn’t remember you having the little gap and your front top teeth. I’m so glad you made this video... I have been wanting braces/Invisalign since high-school... maybe I’ll do Invisalign next year!
This video was incredibly helpful. I think I’ve watched just about every RUclips video about Invisalign and this one was the best. I’m getting mine in a few weeks and I’m super excited 🤗
No Idea why, but it wasn’t until like today I was oh hmm her bangs are gone. And I subscribe to both your channels and notifications. Lol! Most graceful bang grow out ever
Hello there, I am an Orthodontist Assistant! Unfortunately, the tray staining just comes from the saliva. There isn't a whole lot that you can do differently to prevent it. The only thing I recommend my patients not to do on Invisalign, Clear Correct, or clear retainers is use a whitening toothpaste or any sort of toothpaste that is abrasive. It scratches the trays and they become cloudy and look gross. So glad you had a good experience, and your teeth look great!
It’s so interesting hearing about your experience. I have Invisalign and I have to wear them for TWO YEARS! It really is annoying but hopefully worth it. Great video! ❤️
How did it go Kati? I’ll be starting my treatment soon, and they projected 18-21 months. I’ve considered braces, but I think overall that Invisalign is better for the teeth and the roots as well.
Your teeth really do look better! Your top teeth don't look that different, but the bottom teeth really do look better. Your smile was cute before (I have funky bottom teeth as well from not wearing my retainers, same thing that happened to you) but I can see why you may have wanted to change it. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Girl, watch that top retainer. I had a gap that was corrected with braces in middle school (I’m 27 now). However, as soon as I got my braces off, my teeth started shifting. So they put a top retainer like yours on my front two teeth to keep them together. Well...my other teeth were still shifting, so then my front two teeth were together, but no longer centered with the rest of my face! So they gave me another retainer that made it worse. Then when I was 23, I had my wisdom teeth removed and couldn’t wear my retainers for a few weeks. Once that healed, my retainers didn’t fit anymore. So now my gap is back with a vengeance and I’m considering Invisalign.
Totally agree. Additionally, at least for me, it does not matter if you drink coffee or tea with them on. It makes them a bit yellow but really who cares? I used to play by the rulles for the first 5 days after getting each tray and then think "is the mild yellowness worth the truble?" and got my coffee.
Tbh I've been watching you since you did tutorials in your first appartment and I never noticed that rebel tooth :P Your smile and teeth were fine and natural, but I'm glad that you did what you had to do in order to fix something that bothered you, and now you feel more confident to smile :)
💋LeighAnn, I did Invisalign years go! Thanks for putting in the work to make such an informative video! I just love and adore u! Blessings. Love and Light 💖Carli
Thank you! I just got mine and this is helpful. I feel like, "what have I done?" I hope I will get used to it. I too am normally a person who can adapt to anything. This is definitely different. I think you are so fun to watch... I typically can't make it through a whole video, so thanks for that!
I remember the first time I was ever exposed to someone with a retainer... I was about 6 my cousin had one and it was clear and I thought she had a piece of ice on her plate and I kindly put it in her drink🤦🤷 my bad
I had a lot of similar experiences and reasons for getting invisalign. I had braces in junior high, my back teeth shifted after getting into my retainers. We adjusted those teeth but then my retainers didn't fit anymore. I should have had New ones made, but i was told I only needed them for 2 years after anyway. About 15 years later I got the invisalign. I had mine for 2 years and have been in my retainers for about 6 months. It was so worth it and I thought much easier to deal with than traditional braces. After insurance mine cost about $4000, and that was with coverage from 2 insurance plans.
Just finished my Invisalign and I’m so glad I did it. Also had braces as a teen and my teeth moved over the years. Next on my agenda is whitening. How do you get yours so white Leighann?
Go with the UV in house whitening. They whiten the teeth from the inside out, and it works like CRAZY! If you have decent teeth that aren't super stained, your teeth legit look movie star white afterwards. It's like $300, but imagine how much you have or would spend on whitening products over the years. i did it and it's stellar!
For six months of Invisalign (new tray seven days) without insurance, it's $5,000. The site usually has a $500 off coupon. Sometimes insurance will cover around $1,000-$2,000 of that $5,000. I haven't heard of all of it being covered for anyone.
When you first talked about getting Invisalign, I was so sad your snaggletooth would be going away and it wouldn't be the same. But your teeth look amazing! Now I want Invisalign to fix my bottom teeth! Thanks for this video!
For those contemplating getting a permanent retainer I would say get it because it helps your teeth retain there new position and you don't need to wear your removable retainer nearly as much. For cleaning buy piksters they are so dam helpful ! They are basically little brushes that fit in between your lower teeth to remove any food that gets stuck.
My teeth were always very straight and now as an adult, I'm experiencing crowding and my bottom four teeth are being pushed together. It's gotten pretty bad, so I am considering invisalign. Really glad I found this video.
Lillie Renee same. Mine started migrating really noticeably after I got my wisdom teeth taken out and it’s annoying. I feel like everyone can see it lol
Just a suggestion, you should replace the top permanent retainer for a night mouth guard. It's like the one you wear at night but it's much thicker, moulded to each tooth and is predominantly used for people who grind their teeth. It will prevent your teeth from moving/shifting during the night and protect your teeth if you do grind them. I don't see why you would need a permanent top retainer if you wore a mouth guard at night.
Yep! I couldn't have Invisalign, had to go ClearCorrect. My case is too servere for Invisalign. Yep! Did same thing. Got a box from Smile Direct, made me nervous so went to Dentist and asked for advice. I think everybody should do this. This is a great video and honest. Thank you for sharing!
After I got my braces off I lost my retainer, must’ve fell out of my backpack and I found in our yard after the snow melted 😬 my teeth are a mess now. Maybe one day I’ll get invisilign
This video gives me hope 😅 I have the SAME bottom tooth that sticks up over the rest of my teeth. I feel that so hard, it's always catching the spotlight
So true, my Invisalign journey is so ANNOYING, they hurt like heck and I'm tired of them! Although I'm grateful to be able to, the Invisalign diet is real
I have invisalign for 14 months.. currently I am on month 6, so I have a long way to go. it's annoying but I see a difference and I am glad I did it. my treatment cost 7 grand! I have insurance that helped but it's pricey!
I literally never even noticed anything wrong with your teeth before 😂 My front teeth were overlapping at the front, I nearly got Invisalign but saw so many horror stories online about it. So I ended up getting the “six month smile” braces. My teeth were straight within 7/8 months. I’d recommend that procedure, however it is very painful in the first couples months.
its similar to regular braces but the fixtures are clear and the wires are white so they are not as noticeable as regular braces. They primarily move your front teeth and your teeth are usually filed slightly to make more room for the movement and they can usually straighten your teeth within 6-9 months.
thanks for your honest insight. i learned more from your video that from the company itself. I'm currently considering doing this method or get braces. I'm tired of my teeth looking like they're making "gang signs"🖖🤘🤙👌🖐
I’m super late to this video, but it was really helpful to hear about your experience! I’m planning on getting Invisalign done in the very near future and will also be getting a top and bottom permanent retainer at the end. But I have actually had a permanent top retainer for 15+ years (from early childhood braces) and I rarely notice it. Sometimes it’s annoying if food gets stuck in it, but it’s otherwise unnoticed. I’d definitely recommend a top (and bottom, maybe I wouldn’t be getting Invisalign now) permanent retainer for anyone getting braces, Invisalign, etc.
You had very straight teeth to start off with. I have crooked teeth and have been wearing invisalign for 21 weeks. My teeth aren't tracking, I lisp, and generally feel pretty self conscious. I am only half way through and so fed up with it. I really am. The trays fill with spit. I have one very crooked tooth, a lateral incisor, which was the only one I cared terribly much about, and it isn't tracking. Also the trays squeak which makes me cringe in a big way. I am sick of the spit, the plaque the chewies which also fill with spit. Basically I am a walking drool monster.
Day 4 and the edges of the trays make it feel like I have a knife at my tongue ALL THE TIME. Does that get better? Because the pressure is literally no problem. Sleep fine with them in. When I'm occupied I don't know I have them in. It's just the sharp edges lol
You will feel differently about that lingual bar on your bottom teeth over time. I had one for almost 20 years, and the only thing it does is collect plaque and debris in your mouth no matter what you do. Mine finally broke loose and I threw it away, I would never have one again, I would rather wear the retainer at night every night for life. My teeth still shifted and I developed a huge gap between my lower middle teeth. With that bar gone a few months now that gap closed 🤷🏼♀️ get rid of it if you can is my suggestion.
I was wondering about having it permanently. I have Invisalign now but my dr has one. I don't plan to get one if it's suggested. Thanks for the advice.
I have the permanent retainer on my bottom teeth and you’re right...it collects EVERYTHING and if you can’t quite get it it drives you nuts. Bread is the worst.
I disagree. I have had a lower bar for 22 years and I am so grateful. I lost my upper retainer after 17 years, and now I have to get invisalign for my uppers. Just floss with a floss threader. A lower bar is totally worth it.
I somehow figured out a way to maintain my snacking during my Invisalign process. So much so that I took them out in the middle of a bar once so I could eat chicken wings. That’s dedication (gross dedication).
Hi Leigh Ann, your smile looks amazing and great explanation to those that needed the info. I'm loving your hair and I was wondering if you changed your brand of hair extensions or what brand are you wearing? You hair just looks healthier and well you always are beautiful. I'm so happy for you. I've been behind on catching up with you but so happy to see you coming so far. Amazing video as usual. Hugs and Love to you xoxo
my orthodontist advised me Invisalign over any of the alternatives for a clinical need (although I want it cosmetically as well obviously) and after watching these videos i'm so scared but it's nice to know it was worth it, I really need to get it done or ill continue to and have so many more problems with my teeth in my life.
I just want to share in case others watching this want Invisalign and can't afford it. I'm almost done with Smile Direct Club (5 months done of a 6 month plan). It is working well for me and I have never had braces before. My bottom teeth were very crooked and they are almost straight. Plus a bonus with SDC is no attachments. I would totally recommend it to others looking for a cheaper alternative. But I totally feel you on everything you talked about!
Just remember that sdc is not at all the same. If your teeth are crowded and they correct it by pushing them out, there a good chance you'll end up with overbite or underbite. That can cause major problems in your jaw, can cause undue stress on your teeth. Trust me when I st there nothing worse than having a fractured tooth caused by too much pressure from the tooth above or below it (and expensive to replace as well)
This was super helpful and as someone who has a thing with teeth, it was so satisfying to watch!!!! I too would have felt uncomfortable with that tall tooth and i def would have done something about it! I was actually thinking about getting them for my bottom teeth bc they got crooked after braces too. The top ones look good enough i think, but im always open to more improvement so this was def super helpful! Ill keep doing research but tysm! Your smile is perfect now btw 😍 youre so beautiful!!! ❤❤❤
Hey girl! I've been thinking about getting Invisalign recently. Now that it's been around 2 years since you were done with your process, would you still recommend it? I noticed on the before/after photos you posted on this video that you had two little metal things behind your front teeth (up and bottom). Was that to avoid having your teeth move in the future?
This was a really helpful and informative video. Thanks so much! I’ve been toying with the idea for a while and it’s good to know the real deal. I hope you’re settling into Dallas well. They are lucky to have you. 😊

Happily Hirsch my dentist calls it “the Invisalign diet” lol
Happily Hirsch It will teach you self control. Or you could just work on your own will power.
I just started binging and I ended up gaining weight. I wait all day then eat all my days calories in one sitting . It’s rough

If your gums are bleeding then this means you have weak gums and has nothing to do with Invisalign. You should floss more often, that'll strengthen your gums.
I have a question did ur teeth ever feel kinda loose I have them too and they have recently felt loose

Gum bleeding and tooth wobbling is due to a gum disease. Floss more and also use a antiseptic mouth wash, Savacol is a good one.
Your Invisalign was a lot cheaper than a lot of people because you were dealing a relapse situation. FYI, for people who never had braces, 3000 usd is unrealistic. Most annoying part about this treatment is honestly the LISP, everything else is bare-able.
In southern California
Mine was between $2000-3000 because I went to the same orthodontist i went to as a kid before I didn't wear my retainers and accidentally let them shift.
It all depends on how much your teeth have to be moved, how many trays you'll need.
It sounds like, like me, she didn't have super crooked teeth that needed a ton of work.
who cares Riverside, CA
Mine totaled at $2900 with a 10 percent military discount.
mines $6500 for my whole treatment + permanent retainers in the end. but that’s also 18 months of treatment since i’ve never had braces
Just think how easy it is to do hygiene with invisaligng rather than with braces.
1:20 "I guess I grew into my froehead" love that!
i really got lucky on that one
I'm 32 and never grew into mine 😂

I have Invisalign, my dentist told me to use fairy liquid to clean the trays. Works. A. Charm. Come out looking brand new. Just make sure you rinse them completely.
OMG HOW GORGEOUS YOU ARE! THE MOST PRETTIEST SMILE EVER😫😍💖✨
thank you so much!!!
OMG IM SO HAPPY YOU REPLY ME!! YOU'RE WELCOME QUEEN😍😍💖✨
It sounds like invisalign would be a fantastic thing to stop mindlessly eating...hmmmmm #multitasker 😆
RadioactiveBird thats why my mom is happy im getting invisaligns :(
I’ve had Invisalign for 8 months and I still snack like crazy 😂nothing stops my hunger
RadioactiveBird damn ....and here I am trynna gain weight ...
How did it go?
I'm a dentist and just want to say that IPR, the filing in between the teeth, is super common and as soon as I saw the before photos I knew that you would have had it done.
My invisalign overbite correction made my face look weird is this common? I want to go back :( but my dentist insists it didnt change my face but it clearly did. Im sad.
Throwback leighann with braces reminds me of Emma from degrassi lmao
hahhaha youre not wrong
McGturtle3 omg, yes! 🥰
So true
WOW, I feel like I’m listening to my future self! (This is my EXACT story: same tooth wants to be ‘the star’, need wisdom teeth removed, dentist recommended I do invisalign right after that.) SO GLAD I stumbled upon your channel! Thank you so much for such an informative vid! 💖
I'm so glad it was helpful!!
I just put a paper towel in front of my mouth. Not a problem.
My orthodontist wants me to wear them even when I eat and drink because she said she sees better results when people leave them in alllllllll day
leighannsays so which would you say is more annoying actual braces or the invisalign? ide imagine you always feel the braces in your mouth etc.

It's really just the sharp edges especially when you're half way thru a tray. The edges lift and it's so painful. Hope that gets better.
Can you chew gum with it? Won't you have bad breath while wearing invisalign and will the lisp be noticeable all the time?
I just noticed the huge change in your bottom teeth!
I had braces when I was 16 and have had an invisalign retainer for 10 years and I still have a lisp when wearing it! I do soak mine in efferdent every day and it hasn't stained at all. Makes it last longer as well.
You look good girl!
the only video about teeth i can watch for half an hour
I was drinking a margarita at a bar one time with my bf and he thought I had salt on my front tooth (it was an attachment) haha
That hair flip at the beginning is 💖.......
Love your personality, sass and sense of humor😘😘
This was the most honest and comprehensive Invisalign review! Thanks Leighann ☺️
Sounds like a great way to loose weight lol
thats what I was thinking hahah!
It is, 4 lbs in 10 days.

Reminiscing old times is a good thing and how you became better of yourself. Everyone has a flaws, you are a beautiful lady.. Keep smiling😘💕
I just got it today. I had no idea I was also getting a free diet plan with it lol.
I only eat lunch and dinner and I've already lost a few lbs
Baby Leighann was so cute! I was like awwwww.... so cute.
I'm on Tray 5 of 14 and this is the best Invisalign info/update video I've seen!
Tonya Vaughn Oof ur so lucky I have 29 trays

Do u still have a lisp?
Super worth it. Here’s a tip: shave down any sharp edges near your gums with a new nail file. It was the best advice I got!

How is the experience and did you do Smile Direct Club?? I've been seeing stuff about how smile direct club is terrible
Andrea Carter lmao 🤣
I had a lot of similar experiences and reasons for getting invisalign. I had braces in junior high, my back teeth shifted after getting into my retainers. We adjusted those teeth but then my retainers didn't fit anymore. I should have had New ones made, but i was told I only needed them for 2 years after anyway. About 15 years later I got the invisalign. I had mine for 2 years and have been in my retainers for about 6 months. It was so worth it and I thought much easier to deal with than traditional braces. After insurance mine cost about $4000, and that was with coverage from 2 insurance plans.
You have to do whatever it takes to make you happy, but in my opinion I think that bottom ‘tall tooth’ was cute 🤗 and gave you character!
How much did the Invisalign cost you?
What do you recomend braces or invisalign?
For six months of Invisalign (new tray seven days) without insurance, it's $5,000. The site usually has a $500 off coupon. Sometimes insurance will cover around $1,000-$2,000 of that $5,000. I haven't heard of all of it being covered for anyone.
When you first talked about getting Invisalign, I was so sad your snaggletooth would be going away and it wouldn't be the same. But your teeth look amazing! Now I want Invisalign to fix my bottom teeth! Thanks for this video!
Kalie Anne She’s pretty but I died when she said that one tooth wanted to be the star of the show😂😂😂
For those contemplating getting a permanent retainer I would say get it because it helps your teeth retain there new position and you don't need to wear your removable retainer nearly as much.
I noticed RIGHT away when you started. You’re beautiful no matter what :)
aww thank you!!
I love this video! I’m currently coming to the end of Invisalign and totally agree how annoying it is - can totally relate!
Out of the 3-4 Invisalign reviews I watched, I find yours the most helpful. Thank you :)
This video gives me hope 😅 I have the SAME bottom tooth that sticks up over the rest of my teeth. I feel that so hard, it's always catching the spotlight

You’re definitely similar to me in your approach to Invisalign. On my final tray and due to get refinements. Thank you for sharing your experience.
My friend had Invisalign and I called her attachments her “nubs” 😅
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Your smile turned out beautifully, congrats!
I have invisalign for 14 months.. currently I am on month 6, so I have a long way to go. it's annoying but I see a difference and I am glad I did it. my treatment cost 7 grand! I have insurance that helped but it's pricey!
I literally never even noticed anything wrong with your teeth before 😂
My front teeth were overlapping at the front, I nearly got Invisalign but saw so many horror stories online about it. So I ended up getting the “six month smile” braces. My teeth were straight within 7/8 months. I’d recommend that procedure, however it is very painful in the first couples months.
oohh i havent heard about that treatment
What is it
its similar to regular braces but the fixtures are clear and the wires are white so they are not as noticeable as regular braces.
This was so helpful! I have very similar problems, and I think I’m going to go this route after I get married!
Would u say normal braces are better?
Wish my dentist had the light computer thingy. I had to take a million molds 😂😂
I still have mine and it’s been 10 years don’t even notice it anymore

I have the permanent retainer on my bottom teeth and you’re right...it collects EVERYTHING and if you can’t quite get it it drives you nuts. Bread is the worst.
I disagree. I have had a lower bar for 22 years and I am so grateful. I lost my upper retainer after 17 years, and now I have to get invisalign for my uppers. Just floss with a floss threader. A lower bar is totally worth it.
This was so helpful!!! I will refer my friends to this video without a doubt. So thorough LeighAnn🤓🤩😍
I'm on my second day, and I'm already thinking this will be a great weight loss program! Didn't even have a glass of wine last night!
Trust me when I st there nothing worse than having a fractured tooth caused by too much pressure from the tooth above or below it (and expensive to replace as well)
So glad to see this, I'm getting invisalign after the new year & had braces. Seems odd to me, but dont want metal at 30 lol
I have my invisalign and I´m at my third week right now! (I litterly did get my attachements today)
