The guy in the second clip is teaching those kids a valuable lesson, how to steal shit that doesn't belong to them, what a role model! And no, one of the motors did not "malfunction" it lost radio signal. The failsafe should've been set up to land in the event of signal loss. This is partially the owners fault, luckily no one got hit by it

the beginning of #2 is exactly why you don't fly over people, anything can happen when your control link relies on wireless communication. I know, because I've had it happen to me too. Accidents happen. Don't let those accidents effect other people.
It upsets me that those kids decided to mess with and play with a crashed quad. Have some respect, the pilot must’ve been very frustrated having to watch his drone get throw around and not being able to do anything. I would’ve picked up the quad, brush any debree off than place it right side up so it could, if possible, take flight again.
