Jake, next time you get Moo's hooves checked, please try to talk Pops to let them check Billy's hooves as well. He is so big and he's getting older. He looks like he's walking a little flat footed. Since he is in the smaller pasture, he's probably not walking enough to wear them down. Thank you. ❤
Jake, PawPaw, became PawPaw because of all the mistakes he learned from and passed his knowledge to you. Yes, the pile was steaming from all that nitrogen. That's why compost piles can combust into flames.
It’s going through a heat from just enough moisture and the hay is compressed causing spontaneous combustion, that’s why some hay barns catch fire because the hay is still to damp, even some feed will also spontaneously combust
Yes, when we we little and had horses at a commercial stable, my friends Barn caught fire from green hay. It was devastating. Her horses did not make it.😢
Gotta love Billy!! Great your helping Papa. Stay warm hopefully all the babies will be ok. Here in Ill we gonna be close to -30! Windshield next couple of days.
Billy is absolutely beautiful! So is Granny and Blueberry but Billy even with his wonky horn from Tex, is absolutely a picture of a beautiful beef bull!! Don't bother commenting back to me as I never follow up with hateful PETA comments. Great video Jake. That was steam coming up from manure in that burn pile reaching the outdoor temps.
Hi. Jake. Wow. Billy. Is. Beautiful. Boy. He. so Big. And. Love. His. Color. U. R. So. Kind. To. Him. And. Granny. And. Baby. Helping. Pops. Out. U. Got. A. Sweet. Heart.
Was wondering what you do about the nails in the pallets when it's done during since you have cattle in there....aren't you afraid of them stepping on a nail...love watching everyone ❤❤
Billy and Granny make such a cute couple. Next time, can you show their little calf. We hardly ever get to see her. Good thing that Pops makes the rounds and noticed that the burn pile was too close to the power lines. I wish Billy would have been in the mood to destroy the hay. Maybe next time. 😊 Oh and thanks for always helping Paw Paw. He appreciates everything you do.
Spontaneous Combustion. We had a barn nearly catch fire from the heat caused by the composting. It had soldered for a LONG while we discovered after we got the fire out & dug into it to haul it away. The center of the pile was completely burned into a very fine white ash!!!
Someone swapped one of my gas cans for an empty can, about 10 years ago. It's funny how it smelled like diesel and had a Crack at the seam. It was brand new looking and mine was over 5yrs old. Oh and it was also kind of odd how the neighbors riding mower died at that too. So always remember that most people use the right color for their gas cans and not all riding mowers use the same fuel.
Congratulations Jake I hear that you and your bride are going to have a child. Maybe you will have a son this time I can just picture Dad yelling and celebrating because the family name will be passed down. But that's not important the health of your newborn is. Have a wonderful and blessed day 🙏🙏
The old pile of damp hay is already composting which causes heat and by turning it over this heat is released. This is of course visible at cold temperatures. Have a nice day🧡🧡 PS. Oops I answered your question before the video ended.
Decomposition and methane release .. one of the worst of the greenhouse gases causing climate change. That along with all the burping are why so many cows are bad for the environment 🤷🏻♀️😢💚
The toxic from the manure that’s why it’s smoking. How are you doing? Any cooking shows tonight Jake I really enjoy watching them. Love you guises videos.😊
Billy has this look on his face that says, "Jake, you've used the word SNACKS around me repeatedly. I'm watching your mouth move, it's SNACKS this, SNACKS that, SNACKS, SNACKS, and again SNACKS.Then you ask me to give the people what they want. Not gonna do it Jake. You give me the SNACKS, then I'll destroy this hay. Jake, I love ya Buddy, but we have a contract. Sheesh." Have a great evening Jake and Lyssa.🥨🥟🍿
Granny was just giving us kisses and blinking her white eyelashes at us😂❤❤
Billy has that "Star Quality". He's always noticeable in a cute way.

Gotta Love Billy, it's so nice of you to help Pawpaw ❤
Was good to see Billy. Granny too. They look good. Thank you Jake for all you do.
I could watch Billy 24-7🤣 you've captured some fun footage of him lately. Look at Granny allowing pets!!
Love seeing blueberry growing up plus thanks Jake for sharing this video of Billy and Granny. Haven't seen them in a while. ❤❤❤

Heats up as its breaking down great compost ingredient.
Love seeing you out with Billy. Be careful with the fire.
I've never seen anyone
touch Granny cow!! You've got a magic touch!

Thanks for mentioning the name of the baby cow not sure if it's a calf or a bull. I couldn't remember the name of it.
@@marciaborg77 it's a she which means PawPaw will eventually sell her or put her in with Moses! 🙏🏻❤️

That hay pile probably smells from old and wet. Give him a new one then he always goes nuts. Joy to watch.
Billy is so so cute ❤😊he has a sweet face and ...he listen to what you say's 🥰

A farmer work is never done. Good morning Jake 🌄
Love how Billy listens to you when u say his name
spontaneous combustion from the rotting molds in the hay that often leads to barn fires.
Billy , the handsome gentle giant !

It's the hay decomposing...creates heat like a compost pile
If all of hay and straw was taken to LHL and spread out it would help build soil.
Granny can be the sweetest!

🎉good evening Jake.
Jake, you scared the heck out of me starting that fire. I thought you were gonna go up in flames.
Jake you did a good job with that brush pile
I THINK IT MAKES IT'S OWN HEAT AS IT BREAKS DOWN
Spontaneous combustion. That happens with hay/manure piles
Jake I think Moo looks a lot better too! The Fatty Acids was what he needed ❤ 🐄
The hay is decomposing and creating heat. they can get so hot they can start on fire by themself.
Wet hay gets mouldy, creating heat. Quite possibly self igniting, and creating fire. Quite possible for wet hay to explode in flames.
Great timing. Where did the pallets come from?
Hello hello guy’s happy Saturday ❤
The hay pile was composting and creating heat that was cooking the compost.
Decomposition and methane release .. one of the worst of the greenhouse gases causing climate change. That along with all the burping are why so many cows are bad for the environment 🤷🏻♀️😢💚

Starting to decompose. [ the hay pile]
The pile of hay was composting which generates heat.
Your better on RUclips than Facebook
Hay is starting to "heat" aka ferment from the moisture in it.
Used motor oil works too.
The toxic from the manure that’s why it’s smoking. How are you doing? Any cooking shows tonight Jake I really enjoy watching them. Love you guises videos.😊

Good job, Jake!
Sweet video 😊😊😊😊😊
Your hay pile was composting. It was heating up from breaking down.
❤❤❤
Natural combustion
🥶 cold
The urine in the hay maybe?
Manure makes heat also
It's composting?
Heat combustion
❤
Hi Jake
❤️🙏🙂👍🙏❤️🤰🌹
👋👋
Would they light better if you used your Dad's propane torch he has?
I have hear you don’t want to poor gas on a fire. It can travel up the gas into the gas can and explode. Be careful. We all care about you.
It was diesel
@@robbiecail77 Google says diesel explodes also. I wouldn’t take a chance.
