What an epic 24 hour-ish adventure. Stunning views and weather. Loved your comment about climbing up the high point instead of siddling because it was fun. Your enthusiasm for the outdoors is contagious.
You keep on making vids better than the last great one. Loved the night hike the scenes were awesome. That snow did look inviting I have to adree. Stunning scenery and some fast flowing rivers tell it all. Thanks for this mate. Bushyboy Oz.
Great trip! That trek back down seemed very scary to me it was so steep. You make it all look so easy and I love how you enjoy yourself to the fullest. Loved how you enjoyed the snow ❄️ thanks for the video looking forward to the next adventure
Another great quality video. It was good to meet you the other day & thanks for the help & advise in store. Hope your weekend trip doing the Minchin was awesome!
Wow, BK, this was epic. You put a lot of work into these videos my friend. Beautiful views there, great weather, well presented as usual! QUESTION: About how much did your pack weigh on this one? Your posts are a must-see for me and, as if it were possible to beat the quality of all your previous videos as time goes on they just seem to get better and better. Cheers.
Thanks heaps Rick. I really appreciate it mate. I didn't actually weigh my pack for this trip but, including everything, it would have been between 7-8kgs. Cheers!
Dam, your videography just keeps getting better Zeb !!! 💯🔥🔥 Your bashing through the scrub to get to the tops reminds me of unmarked route Tummel Burn Hut to Shotover saddle last year. Imagine doing that, but through tightly packed trees above head height near vertical slope for 100 metes 😱. Loved the snow slide part, looked like fun.
Definitely seen someone or something @13:00 trying to hide behind the rock, right side of the front door of the biv. Check it out tell me what you guys think that was? Only caught it cause I was watching the video on my 65" tv
It definitely looked like someone standing there as Zed panned right, then left again, but rock formations can look strange sometimes. I'll keep watching.
That was quite the adventure! Great views for a good meal before doing the next climb. I’m guessing you take a light tarp in case of rain? I have to note how mindful you were about the possibility of others at the hut and not disturbing them😃
Great to see you exploring off the beaten track and giving me ideas for the next time I get down that way. Remembers tent pegs but forgets spoon 🤣 Those real meals are some of the tastiest dehydrated food I've ever found. You should try the Shrilankan curry.
Thanks Dougie. Haha yeah, I've got my spoon packed for my next trip! 😁 I was super impressed by the real meals, I'll have to give the curry a try! Cheers
I'm sorry, are you Zed or Zeb? I hear it both ways. Jesse spelled it "Zeb" once and I figure he should know, but... Keep up the great hikes and videos!
Thanks Dave, it was a fun one! Most of it is with my camera, the go pro for a few. I tend to slow down my walking and try and watch my footing to keep it more stable. Nah it doesn't gave IBIS. Cheers!

That scrub looked gnarly, almost worth it to enjoy the snow slide. Awesome views on this trip, thanks for showing us this place.
Thanks Ally. It was definitely worth it to get up onto the tops. Hehe the snow was a good bit of fun.
Cheers!

Hi Mary.
It's Zeb, easy to miss hear.
Thanks heaps for watching!
Why the hell not indeed, awesome off track mission. Are you using your M50 or GoPro while walking/talking, its so stable, does the lens have IS?
Thanks Dave, it was a fun one!
Most of it is with my camera, the go pro for a few. I tend to slow down my walking and try and watch my footing to keep it more stable. Nah it doesn't gave IBIS.
Cheers!
@@BackcountryKiwi impressive then, I tried doing it with mine and was crap. Remind me what the lens was again please?
Yeah - what everyone else said!
Thanks 😊
