I think people forget that travel vloggers like us actually have "real" jobs that afford us to do these videos (hence #1). Keep up the happy go lucky traveling. Enjoy the happiness in your videos. All the best on your travels!

Good advice. Knowing how much money is going in and out and being mindful of it is so important for everyone and if you are saving to travel it is vital! Don't let the little things get between you and your travel goals!!
Cool video. Thanks :) The unnecessary spending is something I'm working on too. Leave the bank card at home when you're just walking downtown with a friend. Yes bring a snack or a drink with you. I do like the bit about when you discipline one part of your life you will discipline other areas as well. So true.
I love your top ten videos! I've done a year in Aus and a year in Canada with working holiday visas and managed to save during both years for smaller adventures. Once your away its so much easier to stay on the road.
my number one trip is to do work as a waitress/ bartender for one season (about 6 months): 70 hours a week, lots of tips, decent pay, sometimes you have accommodation and food included, and best of all: zero time to spend your money. Even if you are tempted, you simply can't. Also as hard as it may sound, no clubbing/ hardcore drinking/ eating out saves you a ton of money you can easily spend on travels ^^ lastly, if you are bilingual, you can earn a little bit extra by translating stuff online or whilst travelling, like correcting mistakes in menus for maybe 10 bucks per restaurant ;)
I can’t wait to travel again. RUclipsrs like you inspire me a lot, but also I think like ”I am not a RUclipsr, I would love to but do I have to? I don’t have the camera stuff etc to start with it”. It would be so easy to gain money from it haha. Lots of questions in my mind right now.. Thank you for this video
it's funny I'm doing a video on saving too, I find setting up an ISA and naming it after the holiday (for me was New Zealand Money) helped me save more because I could physically see my holiday money growing and it made me save more. can't wait to see your advice for spending when you are travelling.
These are such good tips thank you for them :) I'm currently in a nursery recruitment agency hoping that they will be understanding about my want to travel eventually!
Most of those tips pretty much apply even to people who aren't necessarily thinking about going on a backpacking trip. very suitable to the average person who's trying to safe some $$.
Love your videos, they're such good tips! I'm planning a big trip around the usa and will definitely try some of these! P.s you already sound like you have an Australian twang in your accent! Hope you're enjoying oz! X
+CraftyForever I am in the middle of make a website at the moment! it's just taking me a long time while I'm on the road :( Will hopefully have it up and running soon!
I'm going to save about 7 thousand pounds because I want a big adventure, I would like to travel to Bali, Hawaii , Thailand New Zealand etc, do I have enough? Is that a gd amount for backpacking? I want to be comfortable do I need more or? Im planning my first trip :)
Backpacking Bananas ahhh thank you so much for replying. I'm at the stage of my life (just before uni) where i have to start thinking about what i want to do with it hehe.

When I lived near a college, I used to go to the college salon to get my hair cut, foiled and washed. Cost 1/3 of what it usually cost. :)
I love this. We live with other people to save for travel. And we do a lot of what you mentioned.
