- A salvage crew discovers an uninhabited passenger ship, lost in 1962, in the Bering Sea. However, they soon realise something is amiss after many paranormal activities are observed.
Katie was lucky and unlucky at the same time. Lucky enough to survive the beheadings, unlucky enough to see and experience the entire tragedy.
It's the man the myth the legend.

Man, the ship passengers death scenes horrified the hell outta me when I saw it the first time. Bloody well done scenes and so horrific. Being a huge horror fan (in every possible way horror can be created from comedic to gore to Sci-fi to psychological etc), that scene ranks in my top 5 EASILY.
While I was reading the script I had a crazy flashback to the scene where the guy follows the singer. From SO long ago lol
as a kid this shit gave mr nightmares lmaoooo
I was young when I saw this I couldn't wrap my head around just how horrifying the scene where everyone gets bisected was.
@@peri2656 As a kid I made the mistake of watching the open, and I too got nightmares from it. It still give me nightmares to this day as a grown man.
@@tyrcipher8811 this one and 13 ghosts fucked me up as a kid, tho i dont have any problems now
When I was a kid, I always remember the slicing scene and the Italian singer. I watched this movie a few years ago again and it rekindled my love of ocean ships.
Me too! Weird how much of an imprint those specific moments left. moreso than most movies.
Same here, saw it as a kid and only remembered the slicing and blood pool scene
@@DeepDarkBoys ikr?
Where everyone except me here a kid back in 2003? LOL i feel old since i was on my first job by then.
Ghost Ship is such an underrated film. The ending REALLY set up for a second film, but it never came 😔
It's because it got a lot of negative reviews when it came out.
I don't care about the reviews because I personally loved it a lot.
Why negative review?
One day will get the sequel to this 10/10 masterpiece

Yeah cause it's a team not just a single person plus he doesn't own this channel
The only thing most people remember about this movie is that awesome wire slicing scene at the beginning of this movie and maybe the death with the hook.
not the only thing but the first thing for me
I remembered the food eating and last scene.
I remember the flashback scene cause its so pro
Isn't it weird how well certain scenes stuck like that? This movie was fairly iconic
I remember the cans, the captain that drawned in that tank and the Mexican that had a laughable accent in french dub
I remember the 1st scene as a child. I don’t remember being scared but for some reason that’s the only scene I remember from the movie.
Honestly, same. I must have been like, "meh, let me put on my Shrek DVD"
Matpat was right about Jack from Titanic to be a time traveler but not only a time traveler he also travels on old ships and causes to sink them
Edit:how did this get so popular
HOLY SHIT
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW
wait could it be?????
I think he tampered with the Andrea Doria’s radar to make it collide with ss Stockholm
HOLY SHIT YOUR RIGHT!!!
after everything i read about the titanic, i believe the captain and the company sunk it on purpose. I don't wanna give you an uncalled ramble so if you're curious about the info, ill write a detailed comment. I'm like 99% sure it was ON PURPOSE, premeditated, planned but its circumstantial evidence.
This is my favorite recap channel, I love the voice isn’t sounding like it’s used by a robot, I love your jokes in the video, overall this is my fav channel to watch daily
Munder and Dodge eating maggots is eaily one of the most unforgettable movie scene during my childhood. It's also amazing to see Karl Urban vefore he became famous.
I still watch this one occasionally. The cast is great and I really like the Maureen & Katie scenes.
call me crazy, but the scenes with the souls from 1965 were cool af considering they are technically ghost yet still in perfect condition. Also gives off lots of vintage vibes whenever it flashbacks to them in 1965.
Yes
I remember the way this movie horrified me the first time I watched it when I was young... one of the movies I told myself I'd never watch because of the nightmares it gave me but oh well, here I am watching a recap of it... dang
we just love pokerev videos. I can sense the tension go up when he said he want to pull every single pack. Good luck !
although the ships full name is "Antonia Graza" and there were a few minor things that could be improved on it still came out as a really good recap of the movie, good work!
I completely agree with you. One of my favorite horror movies to date.

I remember watching this when I was a kid. Oh, the nostalgia.
Name of movie please
I saw this movie with an ex when it first came out and it was one of the best movies that came out around that time besides the saw movies. Great job breaking this one down 😭
This movie is actually so good. I watched this because of Emily Browning before. Even though it's horror movie they also make it little bit of funny and sad. Especially in the flashback when the crew start killing each other.
"I, I stand... not crawling,
Not falling down"
One of the most memorable things from this excellent movie!
Jack is alive? Rose must be happy!
I love this movie, as a child I loved this movie, this is how I got obsessed with ships and history.
This was turned into a game called MAN OF MEDAN it was so terrifying but fun at the same time
Was looking for this comment
@@LoWiQNo0b same lol
Man Of Medan wasn't based off of this, it was inspired by the well known urban legend of the ghost ship SS Ourang Medan.
Fun fact: on this films soundtrack is the song "Not Falling" by Mudvayne and an unofficial music video appears on the DVD.
this reminds me of a real life incident in which a plane went missing in the 50s and then landed years later
Really? What's it called?
That's been long debunked. It's not a true story lol

Adding to the fact that Jack was once a mortal man who deeply desired a neighborhood girl who only saw him as a friend but snapped as she rejected his advances leading him to snuff her and play 'big house' with her body. In sheer disgust, both the State court and God himself with the Jury announced the death penalty on him but never allowed into both afterlives. Now Jack is a sadistic ghost who only makes bad profits for himself.

Expert Mrs Donna is good for motivating people to change their bad habits of spending to better habits of savings. She does push advisors but considering her main target audience are people that have made bad financial decisions using an advisor although cost money might help them avoid bad decisions when it comes to investing too. The most important part is trading early for a long time and not panicking, Being too conservative can hurt your returns as well

Woah, yano what’s crazy?? I usually NEVER remember anything from when I was 2 years old! Good to watch the recap of the old movies. It brings back the old memories.
When I was a little boy my older sister had some friends round and watched this movie and I snuck out of bed past my bedtime and watched this movie from the hallway without anyone realising. I had nightmares for about a week straight! 🤣🤣

The idea how unsafe ship was... and that somehow "everyone" had to dance there... I highly doubt literally everyone would die, except of the girl.
I know it's sf movie, but come on...
Fun fact: the singer (Francesca) is also the real name of the actress (Francesca Rettondini)
also - Franceswas on the Costa Concordia ship when the Costa Concordia disaster happened.
Reminds me of a game where all the characters got hallucinated in the ship because the "gold" was the gas. I think it was called Man of Medan.
That’s what I was thinking I was like they had to be inspired by this or something like that
Nice. Watched it a long time ago 😁

I had the faintest memory of the opening scene of this movie, and had no idea what it was until now
I remember this movie. Took me two watches to understand
I was planning re-watch this movie today after 2 years or so. I guess i can call this a coincidence 😊
Almost didn't recognize Desmond Harrington in this movie.
Eleven years later he would co-star in "Dexter" as Det. Joseph 'Joey' Quinn.
This movie fyi has one of the most gruesome and chilling openings among horror movies.
yep
The ship’s design is based on the Italian ocean liner SS Andrea Doria
I noticed immediately, and before the ship's mame was said, i already assumed It was the Andrea doria
Yes but The Graza's Interior is far From the Doria
This movie was definitely the inspiration for man of medan

This was the first horror movie I watched aside from one made in 1999 called "The Haunting" and I gotta say the nightmares I gained from sheet babies and wire decapitation is crazy.
I'm 14 now and saw the movie around 2013 and it scared the shit out of me.
I watched this movie not long ago, pretty good movie ngl 👌
If someone is curious the ship was based of the Andrea Doria from the Italian Line let me know when the ship sank i forgot when it was.
Where did they get the explosives to destroy the ship? It was never intended in the first place, that means there is no reason for them to bring explosives.
I watched this movie when I was about like 7--8 years old and was extremely terrified because of it. The Maggots scene still disgusted me, until now and the end is unexpected for me when I was young. But now not anymore since I know how plot twists work lol.
