Incredible finds. Buffet n the chest look amazing. Love the polish brass on the buffet. With the painted bottom, the technique you did on the top n the polish brass makes it very elegant. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Tiffany, I was looking through RUclips to redo my backyard. I came across your channel and have been watching how you transform ordinary junk into treasures. I have an old breakfast table made of solid oak. I have been dreaming of changing the look of it but I was too afraid to mess it up. After watching some of your videos, I decided to buy some sea blue paint for the base and iron grey for the top. It was a transformation and my breakfast area looks so good. It changed the whole look of the home. Thank you so much for what you are doing. You are inspiring all of us to do more for less. I am going to visit local thrift stores with my church friend since we want to beautify our homes. Keep them coming. Could you please do a video on backyard makeover soon?
I love that so much! Thanks for sharing! 💕 I really appreciate you joining me here! I have a back deck refresh in mind that I hope to tackle soon. Thanks so much for joining me here! 😊
This has become my favorite decor channel. You have a talent for DIY. You have a soothing voice and persona. It gives me great ideas! Subscribed and liked.
Anna so glad to see you I now how you feel praying that you continue to feel better withing you the best of the new year and I also agree with you about the decorations a also injoy to see my house nice and clean with little decorations that is what makes me happy can't wait to see what you have next thankyou for sharing 😊❤❤
You did a beautiful job with both the buffet and the cedar chest. I love the shiny brass hardware on the buffet. It adds brightness and some pop. Well done as usual. You are very talented and have a great eye for buried treasure.
I loved it all. I'm in awe of your eye for possibilities! My favorite was the cedar chest. That spoke to my heart. The surprise was the cutting board - who knew beautiful wood and grain were hiding under the wear and tear? Also, a heartfelt thank you for giving Shannon of @blacksheephouse a call out for the painting technique. ❤
Aw, thank you, Cindy! So glad you enjoyed! of course… I really appreciate her sharing her skill and I wanted to make sure she got proper credit. 😊 Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Love your channel!! Beautiful transformation on the credenza - I personally love the brass against the iron ore paint. It just gives it such a elegant look like beautiful jewelry.
Wow! Just wow! The things you find at your bins is certainly NOTHING like what is found in the Midwest! I enjoy your videos so much and am envious of all the wonderful items you find. It's amazing! Recently found your channel and am so grateful I did! Keep up the great work! Thanks for sharing!
I like what you did with the cutting board, that grain is absolutely beautiful. I also love what you did with that wall vase, painted green and turned it upside down and transformed it into a beautiful metal Christmas tree. But what really wowed me were those two furniture pieces that you completely remade. They came out stunning! Have you ever thought of doing this professionally?
I love the credenza brass it will fade natural with time or you could rub and buff a little something on there? I’m always so happy to see you videos 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Chalkboards: Use old-fashioned chalk and scribble over every cm. Then erase. It will write better, erase better, and have a more aged appearance :D that's what teachers do with new chalkboards.
Love your videos do you only do 1 every 2 weeks? I’m going to a different goodwill Saturday in North Carolina 2 hr away their rate $1.49 pd I usually go to the one an hour away
Hi Susan. Thank you so much! I would love to release one per week but sometimes, depending on how involved the projects are, other things going on, it takes longer. I hope you had a successful shopping trip! Thanks for joining me here. 💕
The polished brass looks stunning to me! I know you state that you use items for staging and I am sure within your own home, but I am just curious if you sell any of your thrifted items/thrift flips? Thanks for sharing all of your finds and techniques.
I might just add a coat of chalkboard paint to freshen up the chalkboard. Wow on both furniture makeovers! The brass hardware may be a little too bright on thr paint color. Maybe just use some Rub and Buff to tone it down.
I love your channel. I just am amazed at everything you find. The 2 pieces of furniture you redid was just beautiful. I can't wait to see what is next. 😊
I think if I was ever in the Washington State area where your Goodwill Outlet is I would hire a UHAUL to bring back all the treasures I found. Unbelievably awesome finds. you have much more patience than I do when it comes to the stripping of the furniture and sanding. Everything you redid turned out great and fits into your decor. Gotta love the antiques you find at one tenth of the price you would pay at an antique store.
❤Hi Tiffany, I”m back again! And pretty excited to watch every episode. Thank for giving all the great tips on thrifting. All the items are fantastic! P.S. Amazon has a non toxic ghosting spray for chalkboards. It comes with a cloth for $11.99. See you soon and have the best day ever!
Absolutely beautiful transformations! The reshaping of the baskets is a great help for me. Before you decide about the brass hardware...decide if you are keeping or selling it. If the latter, list it as is to see if you have someone that loves it as is. If for your home....what would you like them to be?
The dresser turned out beautiful!! I love the color of the top of it & the hardware!! The trunk doesn’t even look like it was the same piece of furniture!! Wonderful job!!🥰
Thank you, Tina! As a real estate agent, some of the items I set aside for staging, some I use in our home, some I give to family and friends, and some I sell locally. My goal is to get the rest to ministries/organizations that can pass them along to those settling into homes who might not be able to afford home decor. Thanks for joining me here! 😊
I have learned so much from you and I have only watched four videos! I love everything you did to that dresser. I love the brass! Dont change a thing. Its beautiful!! I look forward to learning more!❤
I love the credenza and trunk makeovers! And yes, keep the polished brass, its soooo great against the color that you choose. It looks beautiful! At first when you sanded the cutting board, I was like " what the heck is she doing?" and then afterwards I was wowed! Great job on that. You always find sooo many amazing wood pieces. And just to clarify the partitioned item that you put in the dishwasher was made of wood, right? You put utensils in it after you painted it grey. Doesn't the heat/drying cycle damage the wood? It can make it crack. I was shocked when you said that. I never would have imagined putting wood in the dishwasher
Thanks, Cami! 💕 Correct, I do occasionally (depending on the piece) put wood items in the dishwasher. Sometimes I feel hand washing just won’t cut it so I toss it in there. I figure if it damages it, I didn’t pay much. I’ve had good successes thus far.
I love all you find at the bins and how you turn them into beautiful pieces. I love the piece you refinished but I don’t like the brass handles . They’re ok but if you repainted them I think the piece would pop. What color I just don’t know. Maybe the technique you did on top. Not sure. Thank you. Love love love watching your videos.
I think i am the biggest fan here ❤❤❤ I love you and admire everything you do 👏👏👏 I Wish i can go with you to these outlets ... it's all about the thrill of hunt 👍 Say hi to your husband 😘😘
Cutting board got really good transformation! As for the chalk board, they sell chalk board paint. As well as chalk board clear coat, if you want to paint it any color using reg, paint, then give it a chalk board clear finish over. I had so much fun making different chalk boards, using decoupage paper, with clear chalk board spray. ))
You find the best items. I’m always surprised that they ended up at the bins. You did a great job refinishing the furniture. I’m already looking forward to your next video.
Hi Tiffany. All I can say is Wow. Absolutely gorgeous. I loved the credenza and the cedar chest. Thank you for taking us along. I've been watching thrifters for a few years now. I still watch them, but it's always the same. You have taken it to a different level, and I really love it.
New subscriber here, I am a former realtor and dyed in the wool thrifter/repurposer. I would love a video on how you organize and store your items while they wait to be used!
Welcome! 🤗 I don’t keep all of it. Some I set aside for staging, some I use in our home, some I give to family and friends, and some I sell locally. The brass is gorgeous. I agree the top appears a bit blotchy but that is because I am also very particular. All really show that looking past the item to its potential.
Okay you’re a genius for turning the embossed tin wall planter into a Christmas tree!
Ha, thanks! 😁
Incredible finds. Buffet n the chest look amazing. Love the polish brass on the buffet. With the painted bottom, the technique you did on the top n the polish brass makes it very elegant. Have a wonderful weekend.

💕
I think the brass hardware would be better painted black or chrome
I was considering doing something a little more monochromatic. Thanks for your input! 😊💕
First time watching a question is your cutting board prep just for visual or so you can use it ? Thank you 😊
Welcome, Lucy! 🤗 I tend to use them mainly for decorative purposes, but it’s definitely usable!
You did a beautiful job with both the buffet and the cedar chest. I love the shiny brass hardware on the buffet. It adds brightness and some pop. Well done as usual. You are very talented and have a great eye for buried treasure.
