    Hi Tiffany,
    I was looking through RUclips to redo my backyard. I came across your channel and have been watching how you transform ordinary junk into treasures. I have an old breakfast table made of solid oak. I have been dreaming of changing the look of it but I was too afraid to mess it up. After watching some of your videos, I decided to buy some sea blue paint for the base and iron grey for the top. It was a transformation and my breakfast area looks so good. It changed the whole look of the home. Thank you so much for what you are doing. You are inspiring all of us to do more for less. I am going to visit local thrift stores with my church friend since we want to beautify our homes. Keep them coming. Could you please do a video on backyard makeover soon?

    I love the credenza and trunk makeovers! And yes, keep the polished brass, its soooo great against the color that you choose. It looks beautiful! At first when you sanded the cutting board, I was like " what the heck is she doing?" and then afterwards I was wowed! Great job on that. You always find sooo many amazing wood pieces. And just to clarify the partitioned item that you put in the dishwasher was made of wood, right? You put utensils in it after you painted it grey. Doesn't the heat/drying cycle damage the wood? It can make it crack. I was shocked when you said that. I never would have imagined putting wood in the dishwasher

    • @tiffanygemmer-DIYdesign
      @tiffanygemmer-DIYdesign  10 месяцев назад +3

      Thanks, Cami! 💕 Correct, I do occasionally (depending on the piece) put wood items in the dishwasher. Sometimes I feel hand washing just won’t cut it so I toss it in there. I figure if it damages it, I didn’t pay much. I’ve had good successes thus far.

    The brass is gorgeous. I agree the top appears a bit blotchy but that is because I am also very particular. All really show that looking past the item to its potential.
