An article was posted in Entertainment Weekly on January 11th. The head of Fox (and his answer is a 100% crock) was quoted as saying no decision would be made on Pitch until May. They already know what they're going to do. That's why what he said is such a crock. One of the reasons they wanted the show was to cross-promote their Saturday baseball broadcasts. They've got way too much involved in cross-promotion not to bring Pitch back. They got Major League Baseball to sign off on the show so real uniforms, stadiums and announcers can be used. They've used the Major League Baseball Network, ESPN (when the nude selfies problem was solved), their own 100% horrible and totally useless sports network and have made the San Diego Padres a team of interest. There hasn't been any interest in them since Steve Garvey played for them. But now Ginny Baker, Mike Lawson and Blip Sanders the mythical players have created an interest in the real team. As well as a huge market that's been created Ginny Baker, Make Lawson and Blip Sanders jerseys, posters and baseball cards that they've yet to tap into. And there's also the great music of Black Violin. The show has created an audience for those two gentlemen as well. With all of this at stake, why would Pitch not be brought back? And if it isn't, it could head straight to the Major League Baseball Network. Then 12 days or so later, around January 23rd Ali Larter was interviewed for a segment on Entertainment Tonight. Here's a snippet of the interview and you'll really be encouraged by what she had to say about Pitch's status. "After Pitch’s stellar first season left the fate of Major League Baseball’s first female pitcher on a dramatic cliffhanger, fans have just one question: Will there be a season 2? Thankfully, series star Ali Larter says things are “looking good” for the Fox baseball drama.“I've heard some whispers, yeah.” “It's looking really good!”.
I can not believe that it was not possible to create a continuum. There is no person who does not like it. Really well done. I hope the series will continue even though it has been too long since its cancellation :(
I really liked Pitch as a whole, but the finale was a bit disappointing to say the least. How Lawson went back to his greedy wife who treated him like trash when he came begging to her before to take him back. How Baker fired Amelia and out of no where anger issues of Sanders and his wife trying to risk his hard earned money into a business when she is living a happily married to a multimillionare sportsman.Man I hope all of this mess is sorted in the 2nd season premier.BTW, subscribed.
Disappointing is not the word I'd use to describe how the show ended. To understand the human condition is to have answers to all those questions and see that none of it was out of the blue.

Could you release this on soundcloud? I've been searching for this forever. I love it so much, it pretty much means a lot to me. When I heard this sound it clashed with me. I fell in love with it.
never ever live in the world of fear live your our world in happiness fear brings people down but we have to stand strong like the great wall no matter what happens stand like the great wall because nothing can bring you down no matter what. stay...strong
Man, i LOVE Pitch, but that end episode to season one seriously was hard to take in. Like, i was cryin, n' screaming at my laptop. I loved it, but man.
Hey Miss Vonne! Are you okay with an audio version of this being posted to Tumblr with all credit being given (and linked, of course!) to you? Also, thank you for posting this! It's SO beautiful! :)
Shinel I spoke to Black Violin and the song hasn't been fully recorded yet because of fox and other things getting in the way... it will be released early next year tho which is also When they will start performing No Fear Live
idk, but the real song is not this one fan made. It will be released soon, the groupe who made this is Black violin, the original title is (or will be) no fear OR have no fear.
I know it's Black Violin. The video of them is purely instrumental and they're story is fascinating. Had it not been for Pitch, they'd still be relatively unknown. Neither one them sings in the video. (Doesn't mean they can't!) And there's no mention of who sing's Have No Fear in the musical credits on Pitch's IMDB either. And since the song was originally an instrumental, I got the idea that te lyrics were added for Ginny and what she's been going through on the show. The singer should get some recognition too. He's really good!
Then finale was dope, but its clear she didnt tear her UCL. 'if she did, she would have felt it in her wrist and shoulder since it would imediatly recoil back. Also, it wouldn't have been a good throw as well. Or the writers simply dont know their baseball injuries.
the only bullshit is the ending of the series, she got injured, and goona taking Tommy john ? a great show with such a dramatic ending on a pitchers career ?take at least a year to recover from surgery
I like this show, but it pissed me off that the featured team didn't always win. I know the Panthers had injuries and didn't win the Friday Night Lights movie. Usually the teams on tv or in movies win, the show made the padres look as bad as the real MLB team. Kind of hoping the show ends unless they start treating it like the other shows on tv. I know sometimes featured people will face obstacles, but these writers always made them struggle. I was also kind of sad they traded the pitcher Ginny replaced just when they became friends.
sorry for wanting to see the main characters have happy endings. it's not like the good guys don't always win in american tv and movie. I for one, like that. you sound like the loser.
+William Griffin no I feel u on that, but honestly I like it like this at times ,because it builds things up for the winning season that may be on the way ...I think the show will be around for a while .so u can't just start off having them to win ,because then it won't be nothing to look foward to next season ...You see how u wishing and wanting them to win? That's what's making ready for season 2 ,just to see the camaraderie of the team and growth and them getting better and better ...You can't make everything a story boom ending ..u feel me ...
Baseball doesn't work like that, man. It's a long season. Everyone wins and everyone loses. What would be the plot of the show if the players didn't struggle? "Last week, on Pitch, #4 starter who throws 85 on a good day struck out Bryce Harper on three pitches." "This week on Pitch, #4 starter who throws 85 on a good day strikes out Kris Bryant on three pitches." "Next week, on a very special interleague episode of Pitch, #4 starter who throws 85 on a good day strikes out Mike Trout on three pitches." Also, the teams on the show are the real MLB teams, just with fictional players. Why else would they have thrown in that joke about how the Cubs will never win a World Series, AFTER the World Series? The Padres on the show are as bad as the real MLB Padres (and also as good).
That single violin gives me shivers. What a beautiful, haunting song.
You too!
Mark Paul said it was one of his best performances, and I agree he did well, the show was original, shouldve made another season
Was a good show sad to see it now renewed

Finally have been waiting for this since the show premiered its such a good pump up song
The violin solo brought me here. I love it.
Omg!!! I have been looking for this since I heard it on Pitch about 2-3 months ago. It is so beautiful!

I think they tried to fit too much into one episode. This feels like it should have been a 20+ episode season. So hopefully we get season 2
Jax B I feel the same way
Fox was so disappointed of the earnings of the tv show .. They are thinking about a season 2 but just as a future project for now there's no season 2!
Darks Aymàn what a shame. They should just give it at least one more chance to see if it picks up. You never know
I hope they make a season 2 pitch I love the show
Emily Myers ya they said they're not making another episode till 2017

I have no idea!
Not the entire real song but love the attempt...
how do you know? (genuine question)
Shinel I spoke to Black Violin and the song hasn't been fully recorded yet because of fox and other things getting in the way... it will be released early next year tho which is also

But this is a great sync of 2 episodes 9 and 10

i already found the name of 2 ppl who feat with B.V in pitch, maybe the singer is one of them.
just have to find the link again and i'll send it here
They do sing. It's all Black Violin, from the vocals, to the instrumentals. I've seen them live twice, I was blown.
MLB The Show soundtrack for my female Road to the Show pitcher lol
⚾️
This songs still has not been released.
Where can I buy this song?
A fake again but... well i won't say nice try because of the lie :s
The original is "No fear" or "Have no fear" By Black Violin
Then finale was dope, but its clear she didnt tear her UCL. 'if she did, she would have felt it in her wrist and shoulder since it would imediatly recoil back. Also, it wouldn't have been a good throw as well. Or the writers simply dont know their baseball injuries.

Can someone post the lyrics. I am having a hard time understanding what hes saying in the beginning.
Doveseyes28 "faster, bolder, higher, be strong longer"
