Somehow, I feel like Chozen breaking that log is going to be some lesson in regards to Sato. If you remember in Karate Kid II Sato had a very similar setup.

Did anyone else notice at 1:11 when paused, you can see that the newspaper article is repetition of itself? In the first column where it ends "mayhem in the San Fernando Valley", the article then repeats from the opening lines. Not sure why I paused to read the article to be honest lol
After watching the trailer again, I think more and more Johnny and Devon just leave that house and see Tory and Sam have that argument. And maybe Devon is the one who makes peace between them in the end. An other thought: I think these disputes between Tory/Sam and Johnny/Daniel are in the beginning. Remember in the first teaser Johnny was still wearing his red Eagle Fang gi. I can imagine a scenario like this: Since Johnny never saw the offensive side of Miyagi-Do yet, Chozen gets sick and tired that Daniel always teaches this defense-only stuff. He's gonna mad and destroys the pillar. Then he tells Daniel he wants to sparr Johnny to convince him Miyagi-Do is way superior to Cobra Kai, and after the sparring, Johnny realizes this, and he burries Eagle Fang forever, and changes red to white gi. And one thing for sure: Dont matter if Silver, Kreese, Johnny, Barnes or anyone else, nobody can break such a big wodden pillar like Chozen did. This should underline Miyagi-Do is offensive even more powerfull as Cobra Kai. But it would make sense to be honest. Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do from Korea are faster and more agile as karate, but karate is stronger. It's like comparing these three: 1) Choi, Honghi (Taekdwondo founder) 2) Hwang, Ki (Tang Soo Do founder) 3) Masutetsu "Mas" Oyama (Kyukushin Karate founder) Choi and Hwang were like Kim Sunyung very fast and agile, with jumping kicks etc., but Oyama was much more powerfull, the guy was able to chop horns of bulls. Mr Miyagi and Chozen can deliver these kind of strikes too, as did Daniel when he broke the ice blocks. So it makes sense that Cobra Kai, which is basically Kreese and Silvers name for what they learned from Sunyung, that they are fast and agile, but this style doesnt have the same devastating punching power like karate strikes. Doubt it? Remember how shocked Johnny was when Daniel broke his beer bottle in two pieces with one strike. Johnny never saw something like that before.
I think you might've missed something. That was NOT Coyote Creek in any of those scenes. Those trees look way more like the dead ones at the back of Miyagi's fence. Tory might've accidentally revealed Miyagi owned the land beyond that fence. Also the scenes with Ssm and Tory outside the Dojo are definitely in a college sorority.
@@StryfetheWarrior Also one thing I want to point out is that in Silver's mugshot, you can see Daniel's shoeprint on Silver's forehead from the S5 Finale fight. This is evident as Daniel used the crane kick as the finishing move against Silver's in the dojo fight.

They will never be on the same page again, after Silver framed Kreese for assaulting Stingray. They WILL fight each other in S6, most likely in Part 3.
If Kreese and Silver fight, one of them will probably end up dead. I'm thinking Silver because Kreese has more willingness to kill, as he showed when he kicked his commanding officer into a pit of snakes, even when he didn't need to.
About Dimitri, it'll be cool to see a scene where Dimitri shows his badassery to his gf, the front wedgy girl. Just to make it clear for the other characters why that girl likes him.

The general consensus among the KK/CK fandom has been that Carmen and Johnny are having a girl, as Johnny trying to be a girl-dad will be hilarious. Most have also decided they will name the girl Laura, after Johnny's mother.

I think most of the students are in their last year of high school. I would suspect there is going to be a time skip of sorts or Season 6 overall is going to explore their life after high school (at least within that first year).
Jackie Chan is going to be in this book it Part 3 in 2025. The new Jackie Chan K kid has strangely been delayed. I am calling it now. Chan's character meets up in the final battles. Miby, a referee, or tied to Miyagi. Or he picks up a student from the evil Terry Silver or Kim Da-Eun.

In Season 1, Miguel was a sophomore. He was a junior in at the end of Season 2, which was right after the summer of 2018, Season 3 took place through the end of December that year, Season 4 took place up until May of 2019, and Season 5 took place during the summer of 2019.

Since English isnt my first language, I just watched the trailer again and I made a mistake a couple hours ago. Miguel says: "That means I have to beat Robby again". I thought he said: "That means I dont have to beat Robby again". By watching the trailer now again, there is a possibility that not many people thought about: What if only 1 boy and 1 girl are allowed for each dojo to compete in the age division? It would make sense. This would mean the two fights we see Miguel vs Robby and Sam vs Tory could be the deciding fights who will represent M-D at the Sekai, and at least from the footage we see, Miguel and Sam are winning and would be the two competing in the tournament. But that's only speculative.

Sure we all have our thoughts and ideas, but since S2 when Robby found the drum and Daniel said: "Be carefull, this drum saved my life", I thought is it possible the drum will save Robby's life later too? So I wouldnt count out Miguel wins the Sekai tournament and later Robby wins a fight to the death, like Daniel vs Chozen in 1985. And a scenario like this would bring both arcs to an end. Johnny with his student MIguel winning the tournament, and Daniel because his students uses karate like his Sensei Miyagi always wanted, to defend yourself and others, not points in a tournament. And to me there couldnt be a better ending if a technique from Miyagi-Do saves the son of Johnny Lawrence in the end.
If Kreese is in Japan now teaching Cobra Kai there how was he able to get there without airlines not noticing the passport of a prison fugitive or supposed dead guy?
I think Miguel and Robby and Sam and tory are fighting over who gets to be the team leader. I don't think the writers would make it like only one could fight in the tournament because that wouldn't do justice to our characters
It's funny how the karate kid series got the names of instructors wrong. A sensei in Korean is sabeomnim. They seem to get their sensei and sabeomnim Mixed up. Even martial arts training centers always get this type of stuff mixed up. Especially when they call a Korean martial arts school a dojo instead of calling it a dojang. It seems a lot of people mix the names of Japanese with Korean. Cobra Kai should have been called a dojang and miyagi do dojo. I still enjoy the series. I didn't know these names before until I studied martial arts first hand.
Also Sean Kanan has just confirmed that the sensei in the background is infact Mike Barnes, which is crazy since last time Daniel and Mike Barnes were in Miyagi do, they were enemies
That depends on whether or not Korea has extradition with the US. Personally, I think Kreese will die by the end of S6. They've been setting up a redemption arc with him, but he's been a villain for so long he'll have to die to achieve it.

If you're talking about the balloons, it's a wall in the LaRusso household. I think it's Coyote Creek personally but I could be wrong.

The move and kata I saw Miguel doing was a brown belt kata named Aoyagi. It was used in Okinawa of course and that’s just what I spot.

Nah, I think that will be addressed at some point too. But it's going to pale in comparison to what Silver did, as they said he was going to face "a litany of charges."

Barnes had very little dimension to his character in Karate Kid Part III. What good would that have done with a show that's done a great job of fleshing out characters?

Highly doubt it. Silver burned down a store that meant a lot to Mike, which is also tied directly to his wife and her family.

How are they still in high school?
In Season 1, Miguel was a sophomore. He was a junior in at the end of Season 2, which was right after the summer of 2018, Season 3 took place through the end of December that year, Season 4 took place up until May of 2019, and Season 5 took place during the summer of 2019.

Since English isnt my first language, I just watched the trailer again and I made a mistake a couple hours ago. Miguel says: "That means I have to beat Robby again". I thought he said: "That means I dont have to beat Robby again".
By watching the trailer now again, there is a possibility that not many people thought about:
What if only 1 boy and 1 girl are allowed for each dojo to compete in the age division?
It would make sense. This would mean the two fights we see Miguel vs Robby and Sam vs Tory could be the deciding fights who will represent M-D at the Sekai, and at least from the footage we see, Miguel and Sam are winning and would be the two competing in the tournament.
But that's only speculative.
@@StryfetheWarrior Many do. But there are other possibilites. Sure we all have our thoughts and ideas, but since S2 when Robby found the drum and Daniel said: "Be carefull, this drum saved my life", I thought is it possible the drum will save Robby's life later too?
So I wouldnt count out Miguel wins the Sekai tournament and later Robby wins a fight to the death, like Daniel vs Chozen in 1985. And a scenario like this would bring both arcs to an end. Johnny with his student MIguel winning the tournament, and Daniel because his students uses karate like his Sensei Miyagi always wanted, to defend yourself and others, not points in a tournament. And to me there couldnt be a better ending if a technique from Miyagi-Do saves the son of Johnny Lawrence in the end.

I think Miguel and Robby and Sam and tory are fighting over who gets to be the team leader. I don't think the writers would make it like only one could fight in the tournament because that wouldn't do justice to our characters
That makes sense. I think the Tory/Sam will still be more personal because the rivalry isn't fully resolved yet.
It's funny how the karate kid series got the names of instructors wrong. A sensei in Korean is sabeomnim. They seem to get their sensei and sabeomnim Mixed up. Even martial arts training centers always get this type of stuff mixed up. Especially when they call a Korean martial arts school a dojo instead of calling it a dojang. It seems a lot of people mix the names of Japanese with Korean. Cobra Kai should have been called a dojang and miyagi do dojo. I still enjoy the series. I didn't know these names before until I studied martial arts first hand.

That depends on whether or not Korea has extradition with the US.
Personally, I think Kreese will die by the end of S6. They've been setting up a redemption arc with him, but he's been a villain for so long he'll have to die to achieve it.

They're probably saving him for part 3, much like Kreese didn't appear until late in S5.
They're probably not showing too much of him for a good reason. Season 5's trailer didn't show Mike Barnes.
