      The important part is not just taking any supplement because not everybody needs the minerals that I did so it's important to watch more of the video where I explain how you can find the root cause of your acne. I do not recommend just taking all the supplements in this video because they were recommended specifically for MY body's needs and everybody's needs are going to be a bit different. For example, I take a potassium and magnesium supplement. For some people, they may already have enough of these in their body so taking these wouldn't help balance things. It's important to know more about what your body needs before taking supplements because doing so without knowing if your body truly needs them can make acne worse. I hope that makes sense! I just think that's super important to know and be aware of. ☺️

      @@DaniSmith405 thanks dani I put it up as many people like me will be interested to know what you took. But like me they will enter words for a search. Get a million video and start watching at random. But if it takes too long to get to anything useful that they came for they will just go to the next one down. So getting to the point straight away is the single most important thing for me and people searching.
      I have had fanatic results with b5 Pantothenic acid.
      I was searching for ‘potassium acne’ which brought me here.
      I’m actually now trying potassium to remove dark circles under my eyes.
      But figured I’d also try to search it for ance.
      I can find any videos on either.
      But anyway figured I’d share the fact that for someone searching they will want to get to the point instantly and then will happily listen to the anecdotal stuff afterwards.
      But often if all the explanation comes first they’ll simple go to the next

    Hey there! I’m currently seeing a naturopath and I’m a month in on the supplement protocol. I did the hair test with her and and I’m on a lot of supplements. How long did it take for you to see results. Currently feeling very low about this process. Congrats on your success with your skin!

    • @DaniSmith405
      @DaniSmith405  Год назад

      Hey! Results definitely can vary from person to person but for me personally, I could notice obvious improvements around 3 months! Don't feel discouraged! It takes time! I totally understand how you're feeling and I felt that way too. My functional practitioner told me that 3 months is the amount of time is takes your body to really adjust to the changes that you're making. So even after 3 months, that may just be the very beginning of seeing the results. Keep going and stick with it! It'll be so worth it! ☺️
      Again, the time it takes really does depend on the person and how severe their acne is so you may see results faster than I did but that's just how it was for me. If you ever have any other questions or want some advice or just some encouragement, feel free to message me on Instagram! My IG handle is @danismith405. ☺️

    I agree with you that it’s so much better to treat acne naturally. However I am wondering why you felt comfortable to take multiple rounds of antibiotics, spironolactone, and birth control pills but accutane is where you drew the line? I’ve spoken to several doctors who say that longterm antibiotics are actually even more damaging for your gut health than accutane. And also that birth control pills can really mess up your body too! (they can cause endometriosis , blood clots, liver damage, cancer, fertility issues…etc!). Birth control pills were recently found to cause IBD, too.
    I don’t mean this to be critical or rude in any way and I do agree with you that natural is better, but it just doesn’t make sense to me that you were more scared of accutane than of all these harmful antibiotics and hormone treatments.

    • @DaniSmith405
      @DaniSmith405  2 года назад +6

      I took spironolactone and all the medications before I knew any better. I started getting acne at the age of 17. I'm 26 now. I've just learned a lot! I didn't know there was another option at the time. I just did what dermatologists told me I should do. After struggling with acne for like 6 or more years and going to 5 different dermatologists, I started questioning the treatments. I realized there must be another option. I realized this around the time that I was recommended more antibiotics and Accutane. I'm pretty sure I took every medication that they use to treat acne besides Accutane. I just got to a point where I knew there had to be something more to it.
      I drew the line at Accutane because it's a really intense medication and I just knew there had to be another option. My last dermatologist literally told me that my acne was "too difficult" and that I had to do Accutane if I wanted to heal my skin. She basically told me that Accutane was my last and only option. I just knew that couldn't be the case. After that appointment is when I made the decision to try to figure out what was actually causing my acne because I knew that something must be off inside my body that needs to heal.
      If I had known when I was younger that there was another option, a way to get to the root cause, I never would have taken spironolactone or any of the other medications I was prescribed. At dermatologist appointments, I asked them what the cause might be and they always just said that they didn't know.
      So I took these other medications simply because I didn't know at the time that I could get to the root cause and heal my skin naturally. I think a lot of other people may be in the same boat that I was of not knowing. Because when dermatologists tell us that our only options to treat acne are these medications, often times, we believe them. So I think it's just not knowing until you finally get to a point where you realize that there has to be a cause and there has to be a way to truly heal.
      So in short, I just didn't know I could clear my skin without medication. But eventually I realized, these medications and birth control weren't good for me which is why I knew I had to get to the root cause of my acne. I had to find another way to clear my skin. I knew my body just needed to heal.
      I hope that helps answer your question! 💚☺️

      @francesgold6649 2 года назад

      @@DaniSmith405 ok! I see. Yes that does make sense. However I think people tend to underestimate how serious of a medication birth control pills are. Antibiotics too. Every year people get a life-threatening skin reaction from antibiotics called Steven Johnson syndrome (look it up- not pretty!, it especially happens with bactrim/sulfer-based antibiotics). Tetracycline antibiotics cause pseudotumor cerebri which leads to pressure and swelling in the brain, and can cause liver damage and aren’t recommended for children because they are harmful to bones. And also every year so many women are getting IBD and blood clots from birth control pills. Accutane certainly isn’t healthy or great either (toxic to liver and very teratogenic) but recent research shows that it doesn’t cause IBD (like tetracyclines and birth control do) and many doctors would say that the other drugs are even more dangerous! That’s why doctors are trying to avoid using antibiotics and birth control pills more these days.
      Of course the “right” answer is to find the root cause but it’s funny to me when people draw the line at accutane and yet they take all these other drugs which are arguably even more dangerous in terms of how many people they kill / hurt each year. I don’t understand why the medical professionals won’t stop throwing all these drugs at us and treat the root cause but I suspect it has something to do with money ;)

    This looks more like a sponsored vitamin/commission video than a real review video. Most of the nutrients you take from these products can get from food, just go to cronometer and stop wasting your money on this bs.

    • @DaniSmith405
      @DaniSmith405  2 года назад +2

      Not sponsored at all! I have struggled with acne for years and wanted to share my healing journey in the hopes that it would help others. It was such a long and hard journey to heal my skin so I wanted to provide help for others. I even mention in the video not to just go out and purchase all of the supplements that I used because everyone's needs are individual and different. I'm not pushing for anyone to purchase anything, just sharing what worked for me. And yes, you can get some of these nutrients from food but for some people that's not an easy thing to do to get every single thing from food and taking supplements along with a good diet healed my skin and has helped me so much. I link products so that people can easily find the products if they want to but nobody has to use my links if they don't want to. Please be kind and not so quick to spread hate.
