Today starts a wonderful hike begining in Belper heading to Millford. Part 2 will be the return back to belper across an old Byway.

This looked like a hike with so much to see - the animals, the buildings and gardens. Looked perfect for hiking with the family
Yes! Definitely! It was a lovely start to the hike up and down and then back up 😆 lead and ore mining was done here as far back as the 1500s and lots of spinning and bleaching cotton was done. Hence the Style of homes here. Part 2 on Sunday is worth a watch. It has some geocaching, animals, and a small tour of the town that had an event on.

It really is! Only cold in colder month but when it's hot it's nice 👌 no midge issues that's for sure lol

Haha, it was perfect walking weather, Joe. 👌 the garden was amazing wasn't it! Also the reson for the tower was cool and not something I was expecting it to be used for!

Been over Matlock way and Crich many times but never called into the Belper area only drove through. Looks amazing weather, Ray and Family! House on the rows has great views down! The tower at the end had a very interesting use! Looking forward to part 2!

It's a lovely area! I don't think I've ever seen a church for sale before! 🤔 being sold under Leasure but it would make a great home. Whatever ever happens it will probably need huge investment. I know a lot of churches have roof issues that cost so much!!!

I was at the start for sure mate. It was a steep climb. After that I was ok. I sound worse than I am lol 😆
