This video is all about Research.
☆ The word Research is derived from Latin word. It has two syllabels, re and search.
☆ The dictionary defines the former as a preffix meaninig again, a new, and over again. It defines the later as a verb meaning to test or try and to probe.
☆ Research is a structured inquirey in which series of steps are taken to investigate a problem owing any branch of knowledge.
☆ It is the movement from known to unknown.
☆ An attempt to explicit facts.
This video is about the Types of Research. Viewers types and methods of research, both mean the same.
There are different types or methods of research.
We can look at research from three perspectives.
1. Application Perspective. (Basic and Applied Research)
2. Objective Perspective. (Descriptive, Explanatory,Correlational and Exploratory Research)
3. Enquiry Perspective. (Qualitative and Quantitative Research)
All this has been discussed in detail in this video.
