As a guy, i'll be ok with just two: . 1) a Fendi baguette multipocket in Medium as an Everday Carry (e.g., the tan cowhide GHW medium from FW 2022) coz the multipockets extend the Baguette's capacity from 2.5L to nearly 4.0L; plus 2) a big backpack with a laptop compartment (e.g., the Loewe "Convertible;" capacity 40L). . The baguette multipocket would probably cost $3,000 preloved now, or $4000++ new dead stock. The Loewe will be $3300++ new. . Then i could get a shopper/ beach tote with the money left over.

Coz Fendi put a ridiculous amount of thought into their bags, so once you get their thinking process it's pretty easy to navigate the (tightly curated) lineup. I just think about the capacity i need, and the choices instantly clear up for me in a way that couldn't possibly happen in the labyrinthine lineups of Gucci or Vuitton. . Case in point: Men's bags for Everyday Carry are ideally between 1L and 8L in capacity. The Baguette Medium is 2.5L, and hits the sweet spot for Essential Carry. This would have been perfect if only i didn't wear reading glasses and sunnies. (Coz the Kelly doesn't have that stiff central board, so a puddly Kelly would just slither into Rodeo territory) . Also: Fendi is a love-it-or-hate-it sort of brand. Fendi loyalists usually buy for keeps, so the Fendi pre-owned market is usually about good stuff that "just didn't fit," and is consequently nowhere as inflated as Hermes' pre-owned market. Which could only be good for fans like you and me, i guess.
My 3 choices would be a Chanel classic flap, a Chanel Kelly ..but maybe not because I don't want it pre loved , and a Hermes custom bag. Not sure which one because I'd actually want a Garden Party first. 😊

I would do a seasonal small rectangular Chanel bag (in black as evening/event bag), a light/fun colored Hermes picotin (summer, lunch dates bag) and a Longchamp Le pliage shoulder bag (work/travel/ bigger everyday bag in brown, grey)

When I got my Keepall I also looked at the Neverfull and my friend called it basic right in front of the store manager who was helping me.. I said, “there’s a reason why everyone has this bag. It’s a great bag.” She also said the bag her sister was looking at looked like a Coach bag in front of her SA. She’s never invited to shop with us again. 😂
It's gotten harder with the price increases lol. Super unpopular opinion, but I would have a Fendi mini baguette if they did a full leather adjustable strap. They are so darn cute and relatively practical, so I'm not surprised it made the list! 💕 If I could only have 3 bags in my 10k collection, I'd want a cute day-to-night one from Fendi, one workhorse from LV, and a micro from Chanel 😊

Great video - I would go regular Baguette in a seasonal colour , LV Carry All in Dune and a mini Baguette in silver. But I am yet to get my hands on a soft Peekaboo and that may change things. But for me those are the bags I love the most and fit my life. If I could go for a wild card fourth one it would be the Prada fisherman's bag. I know it gets a lot of snide comments but I love it and find it a very useful summer bag.
Not sure about the exchange rate but i think just over $9000 😄but probably would have to go pre-loved to get a silver mini baguette which might take it up to 10!

I also love the Fendi peekaboo, but the mini is my favorite size as the small size looks too big on my petite frame. Hi Dayle, I still don’t own a black funeral bag. I always say I’m going to get caught by not having one yet. I just don’t like black bags. As a tote bag I’d have my LV neverfull mm in de, I’d choose my LV hide and seek in lilac and then my Dauphine backpack as an everyday bag. I think that’s right around 10,000 I might change to my LV over the moon in basilic green instead of my lilac bag. For lunches.
