Well I’ve been following Gregor for a while now. No question in my mind, he’s found a healthy way of dealing with GAS. He must have a music room the size of a small warehouse by now😂. Silliness aside, the reviews have saved me hundreds of pounds as they’ve helped me identify what I need and what would be unsuitable for my music. Happy 2025 to everyone.
This preamp pedal sounds really nice 😎🎸 I personally use preamp pedals for clean tones(when I do ampless recordings) especially since I do own distortion pedals I truly treasure. If I ever needed a new preamp pedal, I would consider buying this one. Especially since I’m a darkglass fan
I’m confused why you’d get this over the Infiniti? For $100 extra you get I think the same compressor, presets including eq presets, and various distortions. Oh and a tuner…. And Bluetooth rather than usb-c. Even if you don’t want the distortions the ability to have eq presets, Bluetooth, and a tuner is worth $100 IMHO.
@@basstheworldofficialSo it's all just a question of the latency that may arise in your signal chain. The difference between digital and analogue is hardly audible these days.
Thanks
Clean AND Darkglass in the same sentence? Is that real? It sounds great.
So what does this do that using an EQ and turning up the gain and tone on amp won't do?
compress a selected low frequency band for starters

What kind of compressor there? VCA?
I have a Strandberg Bass with Dark Glass Pre Amp....very clean and records perfect directly into the board...

Taranaki bass spotted!
What was the first bass Philip was playing?
Feel like i havent seen your 5 string F bass for awhile, cool tonsee it featured. I love that bass
Franz bass guitars Wega.
I see gain reduction LEDs. I like.
Love it, too expensive tho
Indeed
You shouldn't forget that you get several devices in one in good quality and with digital expansion options. So I don't think it's overpriced.
I like it, but I already have a lot of that in other pedals. 😒
Same😢

This is an analog preamp with digital options. The infinity is fully digital

The compressor is a new circuit in this one
I prefer analog.
it's already $500, so yeah an extra $100 is a lot.
