A few years ago I showed my youngest daughter this video to inspire her. When I told her that this was originally written for the piano, she asked me if I could play it. I have been playing the piano since I was a child and have had lessons for about 7 years. I promised her to practice. It took me over a year and more practice than I have done since I was a teenager and I was able to fulfill my promise. My daughter is now learning the guitar. Thank you Tina S!!!

Tina S. was voted the best guitarist on RUclips for three years in a row, but then she took a long break in 2016 to study law. Now she has returned with her own band & this is one of their new songs: Spin Twice - What’s Wrong With Me? (Official Music Video). You can find it on Tina's RUclips channel.
P.S. A professional British guitarist has also reacted to this amazing performance & told that it took him 2 weeks to learn to play the first 12 seconds of this song flawlessly.

It’s an italian guitarist nicknamed Dr Viossy who did the translation to guitar.
Then Renaud Louis-Servais, french guitar hero and Tina’s teacher at that time (he teached to many other guitarist prodigies such as Dany Villareal from The Warning), and who is recording the video here, asked the permission to use Dr Viossy’s music sheet on Tina’s behalf and got it.
The stoicism is her focus face, she is 100% concentrated on the play.
One concert pianist reacted to it and said she didn’t miss a single note. 😂

She switched to electric at the age of 13 under the tutelage of Renaud Louis-Servais, as mentioned by ericsicard910. She was 17 in this video. I first discovered Tina when she was around 8. She used to post her classical covers on her RUclips site, and you could tell back then she was something special. This was the last cover by Tina before going of the charts for about seven years, apparently to study technology and not law as what previously suspected. Even then, I speak under correction for that last bit.
This piece was arranged for guitar by Dr Viossy, an Italian. There is/was a video putting Viossy and Tina together playing this same piece. The similarity in fingering is astonishing.
Nevertheless, this was the last of the series of covers that she did, recorded in 2016.
Do take time to listen and enjoy the rest of her 14+ covers. I have no doubt that Tina SETKIC is the best of the best.

I used to live with a friend of mine who is now a professional music teacher and performer on several different instruments. During the time we lived together she was practicing this daily for fun between learning the pieces for her first diploma, and she never did get this to a standard she was satisfied with. I loved listening to her play it, though. So I was surprised when you said you played it at grade 8! But then you said you played sections of it and I understood.
I'm still impressed, though. I'm impressed by anyone who can play any of this on any instrument, but this Tina S performance blows me away every time. She's amazingly skillful. Such a wonderful guitarist.

I don't think stoic is really the "it". I think she concentrates so utterly completely that it looks stoic .. but is instead a mind focused very, very sharply. On Beethoven and Metal. He .. Beethoven was a genius .. it simply amazes me that people used to metal find that .. when they listen .. STOP ..and listen .. that the classics can be a blast. I simply stop and stare .. and think .. YEEEsssss .. Great Music is .. Great Music ... that is WHY it is still listened to hundreds of years after the first performance. Reminds me of a reactor who had watched a black and white film and was shocked that is was good .. to which is was and still am .. puzzled. Why .. should the movie being good surprise someone. Art appeals to people in different ways .. just why a painter using color or gray tones would be producing .. art .. and trash .. because of the pigments? Seriously .. makes no sense to me.

As someone who trained classical piano for a long time (and other instruments later) I don't think it's stoicism except in a philosophical sense. When you put in that much practice as an introvert, alone, you realize eventually that all of your calories go to your brain and your hands, and nothing else. You don't have 'spare' calories to do anything but focus on exactly what matters. And don't get me wrong, a lot of people react to Tina this way. She's not performing per se as a visual performance. She's performing as a musical accomplishment for her teacher and the camera. Her lack of showmanship is actually more endearing than if she felt any need to show off or play for the camera. It isn't about her, it's about the execution of the song, pretty much flawlessly.
Anyways, if you only do 2 more of Tina S, please include Steve Vai's "For the Love of God". I'm not particularly a Steve Vai fan myself but this song is beautiful and Tina shows just how much emotion can be put into the arrangement and execution of a piece of music that is already quite expressive. For me, it's her very best performance.

Sponsored by the Vigier company on Nov. 23, 2013 (aged 14 and a half) just after his cover of "Steve Vai - Paganini 5th Caprice"
I quote (from the French page vigierguitars): Tina S
"A young virtuoso guitarist, she was RUclips's first "Guitar Heros". At the age of 13, she went to her local music store to buy her first real guitar. She went in with one brand in
mind, but left with another guitar, a Vigier Excalibur. A fortnight later, she published her
first video, which immediately garnered millions of views.
