so in the lavawalker's description of the mare jivari, you could take it as what the lavawalker was seeing in the past as well as the adventurer's description of the mare jivari from Bennett's origin description, whilst nahida's description and other talks about the mare jivari are the state of the mare jivari as of NOW, in the present that we inhabit today. The fires have died down within the mare jivari, leaving nothing but a sea of ashes where the wind does not blow, leaving nothingness in it's wake as nahida said. Fire cannot burn without the presence of wind/air. Bennett was born in the flames-- taken from the flames and brought to Mondstadt, the city of wind.
Anyone with knowledge of how fires work, know that wind/air is needed in order to start, cultivate, and nurture a flame. Bennett who had been born in the past flames of the mare jivari, was taken and brought into the city of wind where he was cared for and nurtured by the people of the wind essentially. Bennett has notoriously horrible luck and gets into all sorts of scuffle, but the flames always heal him as well as the people who unfortunately get caught up in the flames of misfortune, who are more often than not, the people of the city of wind. The people have not only taken care of the flame(bennett) but the flame also takes care of the people of the wind(mondstadters). Where there is death and misfortune, there is also life and fortune, the gnosis bringing about death and misfortune while the flames of the phoenix bring about life and fortune.
This made me WHEEZE hahaha. It brings tears to Capitanos eyes knowing this is but a small fraction of what Benny lived through for the like 16 years of his life or however old he is haha
amazing lol... capitano the strongest man in the whole teyvat. maybe pyro archon know about this and played million iq move so when someone gets to her gnosis piano falls on them. better protection than strongholds ig. if gnosis is really with benett then benett must be someone close to pyro archon. there is high chances that he is not a human and maybe his vision is fake in the very first place.
Also, in bennets story about how he got his vision, its stated he was fataly wounded and lost conciousness. When he woke up, his wounds were healed by flames and a pyro vision layd beside him. Like he was reborn from flames.

btw someone made a theory some time ago mentioning that pyro vision wielders seem to all have had some sort of legacy passed down to them. bennett was an outlier because he didnt seem to have much of a craft, legacy or anything to carry forward. nobody passed down the torch to him... but this pyro gnosis rebirth theory is literally the perfect match
Deadass I would LOVE if Bennett ended up being super lore-relevant in Natlan. It might not happen but I would LOVE this. Dude has been the butt of the joke for the game’s entire story. He deserves a big W. As big as his contribution to the meta.
Benny has had a connection to natlan in other theories too. The reason we don't see anyone from natlan, anywhere ever. People, including me, think that people from natlan that leave it's borders get horribly bad luck, like Bennett. Knowing that, no one from natlan leaves. This has been my headcanon for a while now. Either way, if Bennett doesn't come along with us to natlan in the lore, I'm gonna yeet all my Pyro characters off a cliff

He seems inconspicuous, but everything else about him is much more thought out than almost all other characters
Teyvat Charred Egg Bennett's specialty. For some reason, every single fried egg is a little burnt around the edges. That said, the burnt crisp does lend a whole new flavor to the dish.
Mondstadt is so insanely important to the plot that something has to be happening with someone from there soon. There is an entire expedition of almost all of its forces (including cavalry which is why kaeya is a horseless cavalry captain) including almost _every vision holder in mondstadt._ From what we know, mondstadt has likely one of the most powerful military in teyvat. There’s no way we have to wait til the end of the game to see something important happen. Not to mention the mystery surrounding venti, his statue, the upside down statue, the nail in dragonspine, and more. They have the daughter of the most powerful mage ever seen in teyvat, who is already the strongest of the favonius knights just as a _child._ They have diluc, who almost managed to solo the harbingers?!?! Albedo, a creation of Gold, potentially strong enough to level mondstadt if not teyvat. Lisa, considered intelligent and strong enough to be invited to the hexenzirkel, also apparently the best scholar the akademiya has ever seen in the last 100 years. Jean, considered strong enough to be varka’s replacement. Varka, as in the man _heading the expedition using almost the entire mondstadt militia._ Razor, who essentially is Andrius’ adopted child and would likely kill for razor. Dvalin, who even if he didn’t fight for mondstadt, would likely protect it if anyone tried to invade. Mona, a student of a member of the hexenzirkel, powerful enough to sense scaramouche’s intentions and seemingly capable of teleportation or at the very least an illusion powerful enough to fool a harbinger. Amber, who, if you have seen the webcomics, is insane. Kaeya, a descendant of Khaenri'ah and capable of matching diluc in combat (though diluc would still win, as is shown in lore). Like. I can’t state enough how strong mondstadt is. They are CONSTANTLY being attacked by the abyss (why? What do the abyss want with mondstadt? The dvalin plan failed. Unless there’s something else they want with mondstadt…?) and are able to fend them off _with their skeleton crew military._ Even dottore, a harbinger that willingly messed with the god of dendro, is unwilling to fight mondstadt. A harbinger able to edit and manipulate _a god’s creation_ without internal interference didn’t want to fight mondstadt’s skeleton crew, instead letting others fight them for him. And it isn’t a case of him being weak - the harbingers are ranked in strength (this is in fact confirmed!!!) and he is placed above childe, someone trained by skirk in the abyss. Even if it wasn’t confirmed, the potions and experiments he carries out should 100% give him a VERY good edge in combat. He literally rebuilt and took apart scaramouche. While fischl has no outstanding feats as of yet, she is capable of creating a sentient creature from her element. One capable of talking. Not a single other character is able to do this. Furina’s don’t talk, ushi isn’t itto’s creation, yuegui was created by an adeptus and still is unable to talk, baron bunny can only dance, guoba isn’t a creation of xiangling. Oz even states he’s only a subconscious manifestation from her _vision._ he isn’t talking from her subconscious. He has his own awareness and free will, which we saw in the 2.8 GAA. That’s kind of insane. Tldr mondstadt is stacked and there is surely going to be important lore from there soon because there’s no way the devs have forgotten about it.
I totally agree with you on all this!! Everything was so well put! There feels like so much relevancy packed into these characters. It would break my heart if they were pushed aside for new characters to take over their places. They’ve gotta make a return!!
whoa whoa whoa diluc almost got killed by the harbingers and only escaped because someone helped him but the fact that multiple harbingers were sent to attack him is still an impressive feat.......mihoyo were smart with mondstadt because they use the monstadt characters as introduction to the concept that become more relevant as the story goes on...which is perfect because mondstadt is the first region
i actually also theorized bennett having the pyro gnosis back in 2022 when nahida said a gnosis out of its reigon would only cause misfortune but i never really elaborated on it or saw the connection between lavawalker and bennett this is such an interesting take on it great work
it's suspicious that the name Bennett (meaning "the blessed one") is close to Egyptian bird and deity named Bennu, whom symbolizes rebirth and resurrection and is considered the phoenix of Egypt. this is the reason why i thought he's an archon or somewhat close to the archon. also, because they both have that misfortune thing. 😅
I find it very poetic that a thousand years ago, Mondstadt was liberated from its oppressive aristocrats by Vennessa, an individual with Natlan origin and heritage by blood. And now, we theorize that the Pyro Gnosis is in Mondstadt within Bennett, as if Mondstadt pays back Natlan for its aid by sheltering the Pyro Gnosis. The two regions are more interwined than most people think, and it's one of the wonders of Genshin's lore.
but nahida said that if foreign gnosis stays in sumeru it brings bad luck . venti might be okay if he had to suffer alone. but i dont think he would be okay to place danger on his people.

I really like the idea that Mondstadt and Natlan’s lore intertwine in one way or another since Venti has a voiceline about the Pyro Archon (shown at 2:29)

I might be a bit paranoid but i seriously find his voice line: "I always bounce back, just watch me." Kind of special since it goes along well with the idea of his character being a phenix that rise against any hardship that befells him. And btw him being the holder of a gnosis would explain his entire kit/skills and why he is so powerfull event thought he is a 4stars. If this theory is true than it means that bennet is a fake four star.

Also I would deadass love it if we get a second bennett that’s a 5 star in Natlan. Not a separate character, literally just bennett with the powers of the phoenix. And maybe his gameplay gimmick would be that he drains his own hp to increase attack and then when he dies he’s revived in a giant pyro explosion that heals him over time. Basically a Bennett that actually benefits from his own buffs. And it would be even better if the pyro archon is just a support that buffs the insanty that is 5 star phoenix bennett.
To be fair, Bennett is already cracked. Just give him a signature weapon and artifact set and that would easily elevate him to 5* level. And maybe add ult camera cut.

It is a common joke that people born on 2/29 only get one year older every four years. However, from a factual standpoint the birthday is usually celebrated on 2/28 for non-leap years. Also Natlan releases later this year.

@you-yn5hp I would agree with you, except for the fact that Bennet is a 1.0 Mondstat character. They seem to have a bit higher lore importance. It's clear that characters like Kayea, Diluc and others are going to make a reappearance in the story. So there might be a chance for Bennet...
The ashes on Mare Jivari should just be remnants of the past reincarnations, which has happened so many times that it became completely covered in it. And perhaps Benny isn't/doesn't have the entirety of the Gnosis, but a part of it, so the long standing tournament arc on Natlan, is something that the Archon issued in order to try and find/lure the rest of the Gnosis.
Not only that but it would make sense that if the gnosis were “broken” per say Celestia would punish those who have the broken pieces or the gnosis which adds to Bennett’s bad luck
Monstadt holds many secrets itself and Bennett and Venti have more lore drops that the devs don't want us to know. If you remember, Venti vaguely says almost nothing about our sibling too. Ahh we need a dain quest with Venti in it he has so many secrets

Genuinely questioned this at first, but the more I listened the more I became invested and convinced. I’ve always felt Bennett had some special connection to Mare Jivari as well, and I once told a friend that his bad luck was like some other worldly force (or the world trying to correct itself) trying to get rid of Bennett because he’s not supposed to exist but another equally strong force has been keeping him safe (because let’s be real here, he’s actually extremely lucky considering all he’s been through and his bad luck. Two things can be true at the same time. His luck his horrendous, but it’s also miraculous because he’s somehow still alive and even more so he’s in perfectly good health. Any normal person would have at the very least have been permanently crippled with the accidents he constantly has, but he always manages to bounce back). This was far before even Sumeru came out, but looking back now, the other worldly force trying to get rid of Benny could be the misfortune from the Gnosis which we now also know is quite literally not from Teyvat. The force keeping him safe though and the reason why he hasn’t died or been seriously crippled yet could be the phoenix’s blessing of healing and rebirth. Your theory is really believable! I’ve been playing since 1.4 and I’ve been heavily invested in lore. I’ve actually managed to predict things (like a lot of Sumeru’s desert quests, just with some differences in detail but overall majorly correct) and some enemies and their abilities too (which I actually got insulted over at the time and told it was an outlandish theory that was ridiculous, comparing it to 2 + 2 = 5 -only for me to be proven correct a year later) so you shouldn’t doubt yourself too much when it comes to theories like this nor should you listen to anyone who says you’re stupid for it, because you’re not. Either way, this is an extremely creative theory and well thought out and I wouldn’t be surprised if at the very least you did get a lot of things right.

It's funny that this holds up because when the traveler goes to each nation, the archons have their respective gnosis, and in every one something terrible happens to them. Venti had his gnosis stolen, Zhongli is forced to sign a contract and put his people against Osial, the Shogun lost her way and fought against the traveler, Nahida was held captive as soon as she was found the be the new archon, and Focalors had to trick the heavenly principles and be burdened with Egeria's sin.

But whilst that debate amongst theorists, your second point is wrong. Zhongli was never _forced_ to sign anything, it was by his will and approval that Osial was unleashed to test the Qixing, and he got something from the Tsaritsa in return, that we're yet to know, and the Shogun willingly dismissed of the Gnosis. Nahida traded it with information when she could have simply destroyed it and opened the eyes of Celestia upon the schemes of the Fatui ...

Actually if we think Ei for a second. One has to remember Ei didn't have the electro gnosis for a while she had given it to Yae Miko for safe keeping. Now I don't exactly recall for how long this was. But Yae Miko had at some point lost the ability to reach Ei at all, which in turn caused misfortune for all of Inazuma. As for Makoto they did lose a lot of their allies and the history of Inazuma is riddled with tough loses so there is that

He had to fight his friend Azhdaha after going through corrosion, his yaksha died except for Xiao, the death of guizhong, and many more. My main point is that all archons had some hardship while in possession of their gnoses.
well chongyun has some special connection to the adepti that's totally unexplained. and candace is a descendant of king deshret. so maybe the elemental infusion does mean something.
What about Ayaka? She also has elemental infusion, however I don’t think there were any mentions of her family being related to gods, youkai, or adepti. Freminet also has elemental infusion but little is known about his biological family aside from his mother.

In Genshin’s Waterborne Poetry event, it is hinted that Diona’s “misfortune” of being able to only make tasty drinks and that Chongyun’s excessive Yang energy, two things that I don’t recall being explained before, is because a being like Callirhoe (the Oceanid) blessed them with those traits. Since Bennett’s bad luck isn’t explained as well, it is definitely plausible that it isn’t just a coincidence and that something else is going on Either way, I’m glad to see the “Bennett is the Pyro Archon” memes coming to life haha 🤣 Nice video! OKAY NOW NOW NOW CHILL I haven’t watched the video yet maybe they told this but Remember 2.3 event ? If you don’t, well. There is a part when Bennett is held on a cage by the fatui, who trapped him there.
Scaramouche took the Electro Gnosis from Inazuma all the way to Sumeru without any apparent hinderance. The only bit of bad luck that seems to have occurred was having his ascension interrupted by the Traveler. Never mind Signora taking the Anemo and Geo gnoses, or Dottore taking the Dendro and Electro gnoses, again with no mention of any bad luck. Likewise, albeit without their respective gnoses, Venti, Ei and Nahida have all visited Liyue with seemingly no ill effects. This is particularly important because it proves no ill effect when both archon and gnosis have left the region. Which would indicate that if it were to cause an issue, it likely would only happen if the Archon left the region with the gnosis themselves. Granted, with the possible exception of Venti, all gnoses thus far have been given willingly, so maybe that plays a factor into it. And who knows what the crazy bard is up to. Knowing him, the whole thing may have just been a performance at the time. I don't think it definitively proves Bennett is or is not the Pyro Archon though. My biggest issue with it is that he has a Vision. For it to be a fake vision, he would have to be aware of his Archonhood, and given his personality, there's no reason he wouldn't have gone back to Natlan as the story stands. However, if he were the Archon, he would likely have his own innate powers on top of the Gnosis, and would have no need for a real vision. The only way I can come up with to answer this problem of archon, gnosis and misfortune is that he isn't the Archon. And as previously mentioned, he wouldn't suffer bad luck simply by holding the Gnosis, because there's been little to no evidence of it in others we've seen so far. And that brings me to the craziest part. Bennett isn't the Pyro Archon. He isn't carrying the Pryo Gnosis. He *is* the Pryo Gnosis. Now, whether or not a living Gnosis could be granted its own element as a real vision, I have no idea. Maybe Venti knew and gave Bennett a fake vision when he started exhibiting powers. But that's the best I got.
In videos theory sad that Bennett might be a phoenix,pyro archon's familiar,not the pyro archon himself.He still can wield a vision like Yae Miku wields an electro vision .The gnosis's behaviour is a good argument though.If they are really bringing a bad luck,then there should be an apocalypse in the Snezhnaya due to having five foreign gnosises
Well, in regards to a literal human incarnation of a gnosis receiving a vision, it’s probably possible. I mean, Furina, the actress who played the part of an archon, successfully tricking the Heavenly Principles - who are, if I remember correctly, the people that administer the visions in the first place - was granted a vision. Now, maybe it was something to do with neuvilette regaining power where he administered it. But we do know artificial creations can receive visions; take Wanderer and Albedo for example. And, if he has pulled a Furina and tricked the heavenly principles, they would be none the wiser when administering it. Bennett also hasn’t been suspected by anyone in the game so far- it’s always Bennett the unlucky, not Bennett he who came back from the dead. Also, correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that the gnoses aren’t what grant the gods their elemental powers, as they can wield the element even after losing their gnosis. (see: literally all of them) Maybe simply being in possession of it leaves them with a permanent ability to use the element, but that would mean that anyone who gets their hands on it can, and we never see Signora use any anemo (or geo? I think she’s the one that got that one as well) Also that would mean that dottore would be able to wield elements. And that Arlecchino would be able to use hydro, which she never does ( at least in the trailer of her boss fight) So back to the point, this would mean Bennett is more like Furina than an archon and can’t access any pyro without a vision. If all the theories of Bennett that I’ve been seeing actually come true I’m going to flip. Usually when that happens with other things I’m like: ‘oh damn I *totally* did not know that.’ But if some character we thought was completely normal to some extent has something to do with an archon and their gnosis ✨my brain is going to explode✨
I was going to say that considering Pyro’s whole deal is family and more specifically children succeeding their parents, ‘passing of the torch’ so to speak, that Bennett could be the phoenixes child.
I always joked with my friends about Benett being from Natlan, the true pyro archonn, he looks like Iansan, but also big bad luck surround him while no other Natlan people are seen in teyvat, making me think there is a curse for every natlan people who want to travel outside natlan. BUt that theory is so much fun, would like a lot if it happens to be true . thanks a lot for the video =)

regarding capitano joining the war in Natlan and being possibly fated to win the gnosis - i've always wondered why capitano joined natlan's war (i'm a little unclear about the reason of the war too) but considering the harbingers are trying to collect gnoses and that the fatui seem to always have good intel regarding their location, him throwing himself into another nation's war (if im not mistaken he's not from natlan) to win the gnosis actually makes a lot of sense... i'm so excited to see how natlan's story will unfold
So. since mondstadt iv been saying bennet is the pyro archon because his half charge E slaps for like 90k (in 3 hits) I think he bad luck is more of a "training program" a la house of blades - will wight but yea, I make a team for every nation, and bennet is slot 1 on my natlan exploration crew. (he also carries my mondstadt team, but will remove from natlan team once i have 4 natlan characters)
It's more probably him not having the pyro gnosis, but having the remains of the phoenix. Having bad luck from the essence of a ded being isn't specifically tied to the 3rd descender's gnosis. It's more likely that it isn't because of a gnosis, but a similar effect that comes from the ded phoenix or lavawalker. I also believed that he may have been reborn from the phoenix or is the reincarnation of the lavawalker, but I never came to the conclusion that they may have fused and in d*ath resulted in bennet, which is a cool theory.
Bennetts character is shrouded in themes of adventure and being destined for something great, his ult is even called "Fantastic Voyage" which would make lots of sense if he somehow ends up near Natlan during the war, surely that could count as a Fantastic Voyage
Cyno would totally walk into fire for Tighnari ANYHOW, if we take a look at Benny's constellations, his c6 is "fire ventures with me" specifically his c6 which is pretty interesting but like the furina situation this means we could still get a pyro archon, but benny just holds the gnosis
i think its kinda funny how bennett is double adopted... first he was adopted from mare jivari and then turned orphan and adopted a second time by the guild elders

If Bennett had the pyro gnosis but since he's not a god or anything close to one, he's just a normal mortal, he gets all the misfortune (god's "curse" from an object of misfortune) that Skirk talked about for anyone that has a gnosis needs to get rid of it "to prevent any disasters from befalling you". Which could explains Bennet's luck. so in the lavawalker's description of the mare jivari, you could take it as what the lavawalker was seeing in the past as well as the adventurer's description of the mare jivari from Bennett's origin description, whilst nahida's description and other talks about the mare jivari are the state of the mare jivari as of NOW, in the present that we inhabit today.
The fires have died down within the mare jivari, leaving nothing but a sea of ashes where the wind does not blow, leaving nothingness in it's wake as nahida said. Fire cannot burn without the presence of wind/air. Bennett was born in the flames-- taken from the flames and brought to Mondstadt, the city of wind.
Anyone with knowledge of how fires work, know that wind/air is needed in order to start, cultivate, and nurture a flame. Bennett who had been born in the past flames of the mare jivari, was taken and brought into the city of wind where he was cared for and nurtured by the people of the wind essentially.
Bennett has notoriously horrible luck and gets into all sorts of scuffle, but the flames always heal him as well as the people who unfortunately get caught up in the flames of misfortune, who are more often than not, the people of the city of wind.
The people have not only taken care of the flame(bennett) but the flame also takes care of the people of the wind(mondstadters).
Where there is death and misfortune, there is also life and fortune, the gnosis bringing about death and misfortune while the flames of the phoenix bring about life and fortune.

There’s no way we have to wait til the end of the game to see something important happen.

They have the daughter of the most powerful mage ever seen in teyvat, who is already the strongest of the favonius knights just as a _child._ They have diluc, who almost managed to solo the harbingers?!?!
Albedo, a creation of Gold, potentially strong enough to level mondstadt if not teyvat.
Lisa, considered intelligent and strong enough to be invited to the hexenzirkel, also apparently the best scholar the akademiya has ever seen in the last 100 years.

Like. I can’t state enough how strong mondstadt is. They are CONSTANTLY being attacked by the abyss (why? What do the abyss want with mondstadt? The dvalin plan failed. Unless there’s something else they want with mondstadt…?) and are able to fend them off _with their skeleton crew military._
Even dottore, a harbinger that willingly messed with the god of dendro, is unwilling to fight mondstadt. A harbinger able to edit and manipulate _a god’s creation_ without internal interference didn’t want to fight mondstadt’s skeleton crew, instead letting others fight them for him. And it isn’t a case of him being weak - the harbingers are ranked in strength (this is in fact confirmed!!!) and he is placed above childe, someone trained by skirk in the abyss. Even if it wasn’t confirmed, the potions and experiments he carries out should 100% give him a VERY good edge in combat. He literally rebuilt and took apart scaramouche.
While fischl has no outstanding feats as of yet, she is capable of creating a sentient creature from her element. One capable of talking. Not a single other character is able to do this. Furina’s don’t talk, ushi isn’t itto’s creation, yuegui was created by an adeptus and still is unable to talk, baron bunny can only dance, guoba isn’t a creation of xiangling.
Oz even states he’s only a subconscious manifestation from her _vision._ he isn’t talking from her subconscious. He has his own awareness and free will, which we saw in the 2.8 GAA.
That’s kind of insane.
Tldr mondstadt is stacked and there is surely going to be important lore from there soon because there’s no way the devs have forgotten about it.

I find it very poetic that a thousand years ago, Mondstadt was liberated from its oppressive aristocrats by Vennessa, an individual with Natlan origin and heritage by blood. And now, we theorize that the Pyro Gnosis is in Mondstadt within Bennett, as if Mondstadt pays back Natlan for its aid by sheltering the Pyro Gnosis. The two regions are more interwined than most people think, and it's one of the wonders of Genshin's lore.

Also I would deadass love it if we get a second bennett that’s a 5 star in Natlan. Not a separate character, literally just bennett with the powers of the phoenix. And maybe his gameplay gimmick would be that he drains his own hp to increase attack and then when he dies he’s revived in a giant pyro explosion that heals him over time. Basically a Bennett that actually benefits from his own buffs.
And it would be even better if the pyro archon is just a support that buffs the insanty that is 5 star phoenix bennett.

It is a common joke that people born on 2/29 only get one year older every four years. However, from a factual standpoint the birthday is usually celebrated on 2/28 for non-leap years. Also Natlan releases later this year.

The ashes on Mare Jivari should just be remnants of the past reincarnations, which has happened so many times that it became completely covered in it. And perhaps Benny isn't/doesn't have the entirety of the Gnosis, but a part of it, so the long standing tournament arc on Natlan, is something that the Archon issued in order to try and find/lure the rest of the Gnosis.

Genuinely questioned this at first, but the more I listened the more I became invested and convinced.
I’ve always felt Bennett had some special connection to Mare Jivari as well, and I once told a friend that his bad luck was like some other worldly force (or the world trying to correct itself) trying to get rid of Bennett because he’s not supposed to exist but another equally strong force has been keeping him safe (because let’s be real here, he’s actually extremely lucky considering all he’s been through and his bad luck. Two things can be true at the same time. His luck his horrendous, but it’s also miraculous because he’s somehow still alive and even more so he’s in perfectly good health. Any normal person would have at the very least have been permanently crippled with the accidents he constantly has, but he always manages to bounce back). This was far before even Sumeru came out, but looking back now, the other worldly force trying to get rid of Benny could be the misfortune from the Gnosis which we now also know is quite literally not from Teyvat. The force keeping him safe though and the reason why he hasn’t died or been seriously crippled yet could be the phoenix’s blessing of healing and rebirth.
Your theory is really believable! I’ve been playing since 1.4 and I’ve been heavily invested in lore. I’ve actually managed to predict things (like a lot of Sumeru’s desert quests, just with some differences in detail but overall majorly correct) and some enemies and their abilities too (which I actually got insulted over at the time and told it was an outlandish theory that was ridiculous, comparing it to 2 + 2 = 5 -only for me to be proven correct a year later) so you shouldn’t doubt yourself too much when it comes to theories like this nor should you listen to anyone who says you’re stupid for it, because you’re not. Either way, this is an extremely creative theory and well thought out and I wouldn’t be surprised if at the very least you did get a lot of things right.

Venti had his gnosis stolen, Zhongli is forced to sign a contract and put his people against Osial, the Shogun lost her way and fought against the traveler, Nahida was held captive as soon as she was found the be the new archon, and Focalors had to trick the heavenly principles and be burdened with Egeria's sin.

It's a prevalent thought that Venti probably let his Gnosis be stolen, or he didn't resist it being taken. But whilst that debate amongst theorists, your second point is wrong. Actually if we think Ei for a second. One has to remember Ei didn't have the electro gnosis for a while she had given it to Yae Miko for safe keeping. Now I don't exactly recall for how long this was. But Yae Miko had at some point lost the ability to reach Ei at all, which in turn caused misfortune for all of Inazuma. As for Makoto they did lose a lot of their allies and the history of Inazuma is riddled with tough loses so there is that

He had to fight his friend Azhdaha after going through corrosion, his yaksha died except for Xiao, the death of guizhong, and many more. My main point is that all archons had some hardship while in possession of their gnoses.
well chongyun has some special connection to the adepti that's totally unexplained. and candace is a descendant of king deshret. so maybe the elemental infusion does mean something.

In Genshin’s Waterborne Poetry event, it is hinted that Diona’s “misfortune” of being able to only make tasty drinks and that Chongyun’s excessive Yang energy, two things that I don’t recall being explained before, is because a being like Callirhoe (the Oceanid) blessed them with those traits.
Since Bennett’s bad luck isn’t explained as well, it is definitely plausible that it isn’t just a coincidence and that something else is going on

Scaramouche took the Electro Gnosis from Inazuma all the way to Sumeru without any apparent hinderance. The only bit of bad luck that seems to have occurred was having his ascension interrupted by the Traveler. Never mind Signora taking the Anemo and Geo gnoses, or Dottore taking the Dendro and Electro gnoses, again with no mention of any bad luck.
Likewise, albeit without their respective gnoses, Venti, Ei and Nahida have all visited Liyue with seemingly no ill effects. This is particularly important because it proves no ill effect when both archon and gnosis have left the region.
Which would indicate that if it were to cause an issue, it likely would only happen if the Archon left the region with the gnosis themselves. Granted, with the possible exception of Venti, all gnoses thus far have been given willingly, so maybe that plays a factor into it. And who knows what the crazy bard is up to. Knowing him, the whole thing may have just been a performance at the time.
I don't think it definitively proves Bennett is or is not the Pyro Archon though.
My biggest issue with it is that he has a Vision. For it to be a fake vision, he would have to be aware of his Archonhood, and given his personality, there's no reason he wouldn't have gone back to Natlan as the story stands. However, if he were the Archon, he would likely have his own innate powers on top of the Gnosis, and would have no need for a real vision.
The only way I can come up with to answer this problem of archon, gnosis and misfortune is that he isn't the Archon. And as previously mentioned, he wouldn't suffer bad luck simply by holding the Gnosis, because there's been little to no evidence of it in others we've seen so far. And that brings me to the craziest part.
Bennett isn't the Pyro Archon. He isn't carrying the Pryo Gnosis. He *is* the Pryo Gnosis.
Now, whether or not a living Gnosis could be granted its own element as a real vision, I have no idea. Maybe Venti knew and gave Bennett a fake vision when he started exhibiting powers. But that's the best I got.
In videos theory sad that Bennett might be a phoenix,pyro archon's familiar,not the pyro archon himself.He still can wield a vision like Yae Miku wields an electro vision .The gnosis's behaviour is a good argument though.If they are really bringing a bad luck,then there should be an apocalypse in the Snezhnaya due to having five foreign gnosises
Well, in regards to a literal human incarnation of a gnosis receiving a vision, it’s probably possible. I mean, Furina, the actress who played the part of an archon, successfully tricking the Heavenly Principles - who are, if I remember correctly, the people that administer the visions in the first place - was granted a vision. Now, maybe it was something to do with neuvilette regaining power where he administered it. But we do know artificial creations can receive visions; take Wanderer and Albedo for example. And, if he has pulled a Furina and tricked the heavenly principles, they would be none the wiser when administering it. Bennett also hasn’t been suspected by anyone in the game so far- it’s always Bennett the unlucky, not Bennett he who came back from the dead. Also, correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that the gnoses aren’t what grant the gods their elemental powers, as they can wield the element even after losing their gnosis. (see: literally all of them) Maybe simply being in possession of it leaves them with a permanent ability to use the element, but that would mean that anyone who gets their hands on it can, and we never see Signora use any anemo (or geo? I think she’s the one that got that one as well) Also that would mean that dottore would be able to wield elements. And that Arlecchino would be able to use hydro, which she never does ( at least in the trailer of her boss fight) So back to the point, this would mean Bennett is more like Furina than an archon and can’t access any pyro without a vision. regarding capitano joining the war in Natlan and being possibly fated to win the gnosis - i've always wondered why capitano joined natlan's war (i'm a little unclear about the reason of the war too) but considering the harbingers are trying to collect gnoses and that the fatui seem to always have good intel regarding their location, him throwing himself into another nation's war (if im not mistaken he's not from natlan) to win the gnosis actually makes a lot of sense... i'm so excited to see how natlan's story will unfold

It's more probably him not having the pyro gnosis, but having the remains of the phoenix. Having bad luck from the essence of a ded being isn't specifically tied to the 3rd descender's gnosis. It's more likely that it isn't because of a gnosis, but a similar effect that comes from the ded phoenix or lavawalker. I also believed that he may have been reborn from the phoenix or is the reincarnation of the lavawalker, but I never came to the conclusion that they may have fused and in d*ath resulted in bennet, which is a cool theory.
Bennetts character is shrouded in themes of adventure and being destined for something great, his ult is even called "Fantastic Voyage" which would make lots of sense if he somehow ends up near Natlan during the war, surely that could count as a Fantastic Voyage

You know what would be interesting? If Bennett had the pyro gnosis but since he's not a god or anything close to one, he's just a normal mortal, he gets all the misfortune (god's "curse" from an object of misfortune) that Skirk talked about for anyone that has a gnosis needs to get rid of it "to prevent any disasters from befalling you". Which could explains Bennet's luck.
Or at least that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this video lol, at first I was thinking "naaah no way" but then I remembered that thing is an object of misfortune that contains a god's curse that brought disaster (the third descender must've been friends with everyone since Skirk said that bonds become curses on death and since the gnosis is their remains...) and Bennett has all the bad luck all day every day so it would make sense if he had the gnosis on him to cause all that.
Anyway, thanks for the theory, here's hoping it turns out to be true and Bennett is freed from his curse lol.
Right! This makes sense! Because so far anyone else who held the gnosis was something other than/above human it seems. But Benny is just a normal little guy, so it makes sense for him to be more likely to be harmed by the misfortune!
