@@ronclaman156 I’m glad you found my channel, it surprised me to find so many people from Iowa on RUclips. I grew up around an auto body shop. My dad had his own body shop and then also taught autos mechanics, welding, and auto body. I started building my own cars back in the early 80s, I would sell them to make money while I was in high school. Your 68 Coronet 500 sounds like it was a beautiful car. I’ve always loved the tail panel on the 68s especially the 500 and R/Ts. Hopefully you keep watching, the 69 Coronet is getting ready to be put on a rotisserie so I can finish all the welding under the car and get the underside painted.

@@ronclaman156 I sure miss going to salvage yard like I used to when I was younger. I did go to Doug’s 4 wheelers earlier this year just walked around his yard. It was a good time.

@@ronclaman156 and most of them won’t let you just go walk around the yard. Doug’s 4 wheelers is in south central Iowa he has quite a few old cars, real nice guy to visit with, he loves his old cars and will let us walk around in his yard. If you get a chance and have never been there I highly recommend checking his yard out.
