with small domestic electric cable you need to calculate how much you would get just selling it with the insulation on compared to the cost of the labour hours stripping it and the money you get with the reduced weight after the insulation has been removed. Generally any cable with a copper cable diameter size of less than 16mm2 is not worth it. Also the council binman is not happy with your house bin full of electrical cable insulation.
Hi Harry, of corse i will educate you on UPVC, we sell one tonne of clean plastic window frames for £285, the people we sell to, say to me there chip it into 10mm bits and sell it for 400 to 600 per tonne, and we sell used franes for £95 per tonne.

UPVC is not worth more than steel haha the market is shit for it, one day its 400 quid a ton, the next morning its £10 a ton, they want it for the recycled plastic but UPVC also has an inner structure of aluminium for rigidity
Burning cable is horrific for the environment and quite rightly against the law, tbh it pisses me off when peoole do it for a few extra quid, just turn it in as is!
