Ethernet cables can be pure copper wires or can be CCA (copper clad aluminum) ... with those neat spools I would at the very least cut the connectors and strip the exterior insulation ... If it's not printed on the exterior sleeve, a quick test with a flame on one of the wires will tell you if they're aluminum or not. Aluminum wires will curl.

fridge pots these days are mainly chinesium.... Also 2 years ago QE A&E saved my live... internal bleeding..... was in there for 3 weeks including a week in ICU....
A question for next week Harry. Do you have any sort of Radiation Measuring equipment for certain scrap? There have been incidents in the past where radiological and medical equipment has been scrapped with its source still intact. Which was very, very bad news for scrapyard workers and people working nearby. I know some yards in some places have Geiger-muller tubes measuring some of the incoming scrap. Is that more for the foundry’s to check rather than the yards?
