Adult Gap Year: New Zealand

Shawn and I are on relaxation mode during this two week adventure from Melbourne to New Zealand. New Zealand is a place that I’ve always dreamed of visiting and was originally planning to do it via roadtrip but ultimately decided to visit via cruise ship. We boarded the Diamond Princess cruise ship on a 14 days cruise around the North and South Island. We stopped at 4 ports (was supposed to be 5) in addition to Fiordland National Park to see the infamous Milford Sounds. We hiked a few volcanoes with our four legged hiking partners (sheep), saw the beautiful lupines and explored some cities as well. On our rest days on the cruise ship, we ate good (except the Vegemite trial), rested and played lots of board games.
