I got into relationship during my class 9th finals. When I was in class 7th I got 27% (ICSE board) yes no doubt I was a below average student ,and not surprisingly I got 86% in my class 10th boards whereas she got 92% (both from science maths and computers). Not surprising because it was her as well as mine hardwork that payed off.
I stood 4th in my class 11th finals where as she was 1st. Now we're working to score good marks in our 12th boards.
She isn't my teacher but not less than a teacher either. It was her appeal to be better and hardworking.
So yeah I'm thankful to her and conclude that relationship doesn't affect your studies until and unless there is a mutual understanding between two and selflessness. : )
Edit : she got 96% in class 12th isc and I got 87% :) I'm pretty happy with it.

I was also in love and in relationship when i was studying being a pcm with computer student from isc board in class 12th but it did not affect my studies. Rather it increases my marks in almost every subject. So I don't thik its true. If you are determined ane focussed on your studies then love and relationship will have no affect.
