I just wanted to point one thing out: your description. I think it’s a joke, but I don’t think in any universe, even if there was an evil AJR, they would not sue you (not even if you make money off of your cover, because cover bands make lots of money depending on the gigs). They love these covers and post them on their Instagram all the time, I’m sure they’ll see this one at some point! Really cool cover!!
Thanks! It’s not fully a joke tho lol, I’m almost sure AJR wouldn’t really sue me but I was concerned for a while about how this copyright stuff works cause what if for example UMG sues me idk. thanks for calming me tho, now I’m less worried!
It’s more of their record label than anything, they copyright striked a RUclipsr who had a snippet of “I’m ready” in their intro even tho they had ajr’s consent and had it for years.

Same actually, I’ve always wanted to do sth like that and now I want to relive that moment a couple more times cause it went so fast and it was so damn cool. I hope that someday you and people like you who want to perform songs in front of the audience will perform them and your dreams will come true! i wondered it for a long time so ill ask. How did you make those "drum hits" at the start? cuz i dont think you can make those with normal drums
Well, I used Superior Drummer plugin which basically emulates the acoustic drums sound and I made those hits with the tom drums sounds (like at the very beginning I played both rack toms sounds simultaneously). Then I used some eq and compression to get rid of lots of the low-end and have more of the “punch” kind of sound so that’s about it I guess

@@kacperkopera4101 I used FL studio but I guess it doesn’t really matter in that case, it’s probably possible to make it even in Garage band as well as in any other DAW
