Original Silent Film of RMS Queen Mary departing New York Harbor for the final time in 1967. RMS Queen Mary was a beautiful transatlantic liners built by John Brown & Company for the Cunard Line. After a long successful career and service in WWII, she is seen here leaving New York City for the final time. - Sound was added to this silent film.

That’s so cool to see these two ocean legends in tandem! It’s fantastic that Mary is still with us, let’s hope the Big U finally gets her permanent home and we can all visit both!
So cool. I’ve visited her in Long Beach several times and even stayed on board. So neat to see her just a few years before she was docked there. Too bad they’ve let her condition decline. Hopefully the City of Long Beach can do all the repairs needed to keep her afloat for future generations. Thanks for the video.

It would be nice to see the Big U and Queen Mary as former rivals berthed side by side as museum pieces in Long Beach. They both together would become even greater tourist destinations!
