flew them once on the now defunct DFW-Guadalajara route. The tickets you get are just printed on a blank ticket page with no logo, barcode or watermarks which makes it seem you just printed it out at home and this caused us issues going through security. They needed to verify from the airline we were on the passenger list. Don't know how the airline thought that wouldn't be an issue. We paid $15 each extra in order to board first since it's open seating. Once we got to the gate, everyone was just crowded around. I went to ask the employee at the counter how they would know we paid for priority seating and they said they would call us for priority boarding. Never, happened, my mom has mobility issues so they let us go first because of that but no mention of priority boarding, $60 down the drain for our party of 4. Went down to what we thought was a jet bridge but it was really a line to get on a bus that would take us to the plane. The bus took forever and again, it was just a bunch of people crowding around, no order or guidance. Of course, we realized part of the reason the ticket was so cheap was because they don't rent a gate in the same way other airlines do. Finally the buses came and the pilots and cabin crew were already on the bus and the whole time they were taking selfies and making really vulgar jokes in front of the other passengers. You would have thought they'd never flown before by the way they were acting or that they were a bunch of teenagers on holiday. Once we arrived at the plane, the crew disembarked and got on, they held the passengers at the bottom of the staircase on the tarmac for about 20 minutes in the middle of July when it was around 100 degrees outside. Once on board everything went quickly. We got to our destination which is what mattered. Now, on the way back, it was another adventure, we arrived at the airport with about 1hr 15 minutes to spare since we ran into really bad traffic in the city. Ok, no one's fault except ours for underestimating how long it would take from where we were ( on the outskirts of the city). At the Guadalajara airport, there are 2 terminals, one for international flights and the other for domestic flights. So we arrive at the International terminal and there are guards making sure you have business being there, the guard tells us all Viva Aerobus flights leave from the domestic terminal since most of their routes are domestic. We go back around to the other terminal, enter and there is not a soul to be seen anywhere. We wander and wander until we come across an employee who tells us there are no Viva Aerobus staff at the counter because their flights don't leave until later. We say but our flight leaves in an hour, he says there are no flights leaving in an hour and directs us to an office they have in that terminal. At the office the employee is on the computer and asks us to wait for a minute. He picks up the phone and is calling in an order to a restaurant. Seriously, you're telling customer to wait so you can get your food?? After he puts in the order, he gets up and goes to the back to tell what I assume are other employees he just put in the order. He comes back out and sees our tickets and say that for their international flights they share space with Aeromexico at the International Terminal and he tells us at this point with about 50 minutes left before the scheduled departure we will likely not make it since they close check-in 45 minutes before the flight and the next flight to Dallas will not leave until Saturday, 2 days later. He also mentioned we could try to trade in our tickets to Aeromexico or another airline to see if they would credit us the amount we paid. Like many places around the world, many airlines still have ticket desks strictly for purchasing tickets in addition to the check-in counter. As soon as we pulled out our tickets people would begin shaking their head. The guy at the Delta counter even chuckled as soon as he saw our tickets. Needless to say I was furious the employees behavior and the fact that he suggested there was a possibility we could get credit from another airline for our tickets. Had we been given the right information from the get go, we probably would have made our flight. So while it would have been tight, we could have flown had the airline had the forethought to let security know the difference between their International customers and domestic customers, had the employee in the domestic terminal known the international schedule and the most insulting part was the employee putting us on hold while he ordered lunch. We had our dogs being watched so it was imperative I get back ASAP. I eventually found a one way to DFW on American Airlines for $180 US but since there was only one seat left, I bought it and the remaining 3 members of our party had to stay in Guadalajara 2 extra days, pay for a hotel and pay the difference between the tickets we bought and what rebooking would cost. All in all, it would have been the same had we flown American, Delta, United or Aeromexico. I wouldn't recommend this airline because everything has to work perfectly for the flight to go smoothly and the airline showed very little professionalism or sympathy.

Are they also associated with any airport for a flight here in California to wherever you wanna go to, either in Mexico or to another country or even to another part of the USA? That’s where I am from, meaning that I am from Sacramento California USA, and well, I hate to disappoint you. But last year, in December 2020, my mom, my brother and I, we all left on the airplane of
Viva Aerobús from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico to Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico, and we were all going to Mexico for a reason. We went to Mexico for a business trip, and we weren’t supposed to be coming home until December 16th, 2020, meaning that we were in Mexico for 10 days, and well, since I am from Sacramento California, we left from Sacramento to San Diego to get to Tijuana to fly to Guadalajara on Viva Aerobús, and it was a great flight from my experience going to where I was headed in Mexico, and then, on the day I came back, It turned out to be a bad experience with this airline, mostly because, when we were in Guadalajara, we were at the airport in Guadalajara all day, and we were about to give them our luggage, so we could board the plane, and then get ready to go. And also, a quick FYI, Guadalajara is 2 hours ahead of California, and well, on that day, we were about to give them our luggage, and it was around, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the afternoon on that day, and they said they couldn’t take our luggage, until it was 3:40 PM, 2 hours prior to the flight, as the flight from Guadalajara to Tijuana was gonna be leaving at 5:40 PM, Guadalajara time, and well, when it was time to board the plane, we all got onboard, and it was taking everybody, who were the rest of the other passengers, at least 10 or 15 or maybe 20 minutes for everybody to get onboard the plane, as we were all about to take off, and then they were probably checking if everything on the plane was good, and they were making sure that everything was going fine with the airplane, and then, they noticed some problems with the airplane, and then they kicked us all of the airplane, and then, my mom, my brother and I, along with the rest of the passengers, we all had to go back to the terminal at the airport in Guadalajara and then, the flight attendants and the crew of the airplane moved all of our luggage and the flight attendants and the crew all were moved onto another airplane, and it took them all about half an hour, or maybe it was about an hour, or maybe an hour and a half, to move everything and themselves onto another airplane of Viva Aerobús, and then, we left the terminal, going to the new airplane with the same passengers and the same crew and same flight attendants, and then we all eventually left leaving for Tijuana from Guadalajara, but the flight got delayed because of a problem in the airplane that we were all going to be taking back to Tijuana to come home back to the United States. So I had a good experience the first time, but I had a bad experience the second time around coming home back to the USA flying with Viva Aerobús from Guadalajara to Tijuana all on December 16th, 2020.
