My thought is that they had mana, but they were decking themselves out and only had one Oddity in play. This is the downside of having so much card draw in such cases, and this is also the strength of Angels in the current meta. You can go over devotion and midrange decks through lifegain. Sometimes even Amalia decks will struggle against this if you have a good start.
@@a-jankmtg IITs a possibility, tho, with a large enough creature and the Oddity flip (trample + haste + 1/1 to everything) he could really force serious damage even with your blockers being super large. And with all that he still missed one of the lands activations. Great showcase overall
Basically at the moment I'm only playing five-color/four-color decks with Lumra or Fires in best-of-three and mostly Angels in best-of-one. They have felt really good in the MTG Arena meta. Ygra combo of course is a good one that I play sometimes.
Explorer Angels still rules.
Yes and now after bans I feel it's even stronger.
That mono green player get 29 mana, probable has a way to win and still concede? respect

Nice video bro, but you could show us your decklist at the start of the video, tx
Yes I am starting to do this at the beginning of every video now :)
How does this deck compare to everything in Explorer right now? What are some of your favorite decks in Explorer that you are playing?
