OMG I'm so excited for this is video. I literally just got mine done 2 weeks ago. He did them free style or freehand (without the clamp) I feel like I'm going to have one that is just annoying and doesn't heal either!! One feels completely fine and the other is always angry at me but doesn't look like there is anything wrong with it!
All I can say is NEVER pick the scabs lmao I feel like that was my downfall
Super common with nipple piercings especially women. Lots of people have one that will never quite 100% settle. As long as it isn't hurting or bleeding it should be okay. Also 2 weeks in you are still healing so you can't judge them yet
Why would he freehand it? I got my nipples redone because one of mine wasn't pierced at the right angle. I suggest if it comes down to it to let it heal then get it repierced. I'm so happy I did!

I got mine pierced like 15 years ago and one of them also NEVER healed. I dealt with painful, red, disgusting, puss-filled piercing holes IN MY TIT for like 4 years before I finally gave up and took them out. 😅 Good luck the 2nd time around! I couldn't do it after the drama.

I'm literally watching this as I do a sea salt soak for my nipple piercings! They're still a bit sore and finicky after 3 months so I'm a little worried they won't heal quite right, but time will tell. I hope yours heal up better than your first time!
Nipple piercings take a long ass time to heal and can stay irritated for months. So 3 months isnt bad

@@Ominester Sure, I don't mind sharing an update. It's been 7.5 months now. They are not ambiently sore like they used to be, but still hurt if I put direct pressure on them (like laying on my stomach) and they hurt quite badly if I accidently hit them against something (like a cabinet door). I have at times slightly regretted them and thought about taking them out. Healing time for women is supposed to be 9-12 months, and I've come so far, so I am planning to continue healing to see if they will fully heal. I love how they look, but healing them has been a pain and there is no way I would do it again.

I didn't have any pain. However, I'm not particularly sensitive in this area either. The area was numbed with a spray and the piercer knew her craft.
I had it done when I was 18, I'll be 42 in April and I've never regretted it. Never had any problems with inflammation or anything like that afterwards.

I’m super flat so I’ve never had crazy issues with mine but my old coworker has big boobs and still can’t sleep with out a shirt on because they obviously are moving around more. I think it’s personal but I assume big boob girlies may have a slightly harder time
I got my nipples done at age 19 in San Francisco. I had them until age 48 when I finally took them out. I have missed them ever since because they were such a big part of my body image after all those years.
so why did you take them out?
kinda curious if you'd wanna get them done again! I got a labret and loved it, then took it out when the hole was leaking and irritating my lip.. replaced it with a vertical labret and that never healed right. But kinda like you said, the lip piercings feel like part of my body image... I'll be 43 this year and still consider getting my lip pierced again lol

TWICE now, I have chickened out of getting mine done. I've been wanting them for YEARS but I keep chickening out. The way people reacted to the pain in videos terrified me. One guy threw up and that one scared me the most. I have no idea if you made me feel better or worse about it lmao. One the one hand, your reaction is also terrifying, but on the other hand you said it stopped hurting fairly quick... I'm so scared mine will hurt for days or something. IDK WHAT TO DO. I already have several face and ear piercings and one tattoo but I just don't know if I can stomach this, but I want them soooo bad.
The male pain tolerance is so low, watch the reaction to menstruation cramps🙄

@@SerenitySoonish interestingly enough, the last place said they use a freezing spray, and he sprayed a bit on my arm to show me. My skin turned a bruised color, and when I googled if that was safe to put on a nipple, everyone was saying freezing and numbing are bad and it screws up the blood vessels or whatever and makes it unsafe to pierce. I've never gotten a solid answer on whether that's true or not. That's why I chickened out the last time.
You're doing yourself no favors watching videos of them getting done. You're just ingraining the fear of pain in yourself even more. I had mine repierced last year(one of them was crooked)and I'll be honest, it hurts like a MOFO for a second then it's just a sensitive, achey pain for a couple days. After the initial piercing, it's really not that bad(unless you hit it or snag it on something). Don't let the fear or pain stop you from one of the cutest piercings you can get! :)

I got mine done a few days after I turned 18 lol. I got them done simultaneously by two piercers. If y'all can find somewhere that does it - it's worth asking, and paying whatever fee they ask for (I think mine was $10 and saved my life because otherwise I would have walked out with only 1 done)
Did i bleed a lot? If I do this should I wear a shirt I don't like ?
@@rachelyoung7261 I didn't bleed much, but I wore my painting/housework shirt for the initial piercing just in case. It was a button down so that I wouldn't have to completely take it off, which helped me feel more comfortable. You shouldn't dress for appearance but for comfort the day of your piercing- a low-support scoop neck bra and a t-shirt was pretty much my uniform for the first week lol

i got my nipples pierced a couple years ago, i salute you because i would never do it again if i were to take them out. I wash them everyday in the shower and its really easy to get them squeaky clean in there !!! i've never had a problem with them. i think its easier to clean in the shower than with a q tip or cotton pad idk that's just me

I've also done mine twice. The first time, I think they were too deep, if that makes sense and they just didn't heal after years, so I took them out, also I was planning on having kids. Well, after my youngest was weened, I decided to get them again. Like you, I love having them, but they just never want to heal! I have a bunch of other piercings and these ones just refused. So I sadly took them out. I do miss them. And I have also been getting the need to get a piercing itch, but I can't decide on what to do next. I wanted to do my eyebrow, but with chronic migraines, bad bad bad idea. So yeah. Happy healing
i have chronic migraines and an eyebrow piercing!! it hasn’t really affected my migraines and it was by far the easiest to heal and my least painful piercing (and i have lots)… highly highly recommended
YAS GIRL!! i had mine done when i was 18 as well, they were so painful and the healing was HORRIBLE (aka they just wouldn’t heal) so i eventually had to take them out. i don’t really miss them bc they were such a hassle but they were so freaking cute. im happy yours are healing well especially after going through scar tissue, you’re tough asf boiiii!
It was on my bucket list to pierce my nipples so I did it about four years ago.
I loved how it looked and had it for three years. Sadly it never healed properly and I got stuck in things with the piercings and managed to take some impact to the breasts from time to time. It hurt like hell.
It was so sad to take them out because I loved how it looked but I was so satisfied to get rid of the pain.

Nips were my worst ever to heal. I kept one as a reward for it finally healing but the other gave me issues for over a year before I could safely take it out omfg. For reference I had 16 piercings at one point xD

Definitely can depend on pain tolerance & nipple sensitivity. Nipple piercings go through a lot of tissue so it makes sense it hurts a lot in the moment!
Agreed, mine felt a bee sting & then really hot for about 20 minutes after & then they were fine.. I've had them for years & never had a problem, I love them!

Got mine pierced in the early 2000s and they hurt so freaking bad. The worst experience. But back then a lot of shops didn't really care to know much about nipple anatomy and unfortunately the guy who pierced my did a bad job. Not only did he sever nerves and cause me sharp shooting pain throughout my breasts but I also lost sensation in both nipples. I took them out within a month due to the pain. They took forever to heal and dealing with the nerve damage has been awful. I only recenty began to have somewhat normal sensation, but they're nowhere near as sensitive as they used to be. So sad bc I love nip piercings but after all that i don't think I'll ever redo them.
when i got mine done the second time the needle snagged on the thick af scar tissue and it hurt so bad, i also have some tips(warnings) if anyone watching this wants to get theirs done
1. the healing process NEVER ends, there will be towel and shirt snags, bumps that hurt like a bitch, however for most people the main healing is over in 8 months to 2 years. for some people they never fully heal
2. you have to learn to sleep on your side or back if youre a stomach sleeper, they will not heal and will be sore after sleeping on your stomach even when 'fully' healed
3. discharge is normal and will come and go FOREVER a quick clean in the shower is all you need
4. if you have a partner they wont be able to touch your chest for a loooooong time and will have to be gentle
5. piercings will change your sensitivity, it may increase OR decrease
6. yes you can still breast feed after getting nipple piercings it does not affect your ability at all!
7. if you want them theyre totally fucking worth it you will feel like the hottest bitch in the world

i've been thinking of getting mine done for a few years now but always chickened out bc the fear of pain... piercings don't generally heal super well for me, my double helix tends to get irritated even after 3 years and if nipple piercings are as painful as some ppl say, i don't wanna risk it not healing 😭

Girl, pierced nipples are amazing! Unfortunately I had to remove my piercings because I was sick and had to have some checks, they hadn't healed well yet and the holes closed immediately 😭 I don't think I would have the courage to do it again

I got mine done in the 90's in London and he did the first one and I started feeling light headed and horrible and sweating all over (basically my body went into shock) and he said he would leave me to relax and left the room, well I was just sitting in this normal chair and while he was gone I passed out and fell off the chair onto the floor which was dirty and covered in dust so it stuck to my sweaty skin. He came back in and woke me up and helped me back onto the chair. He did the other one and it wasn't nearly as bad, but that first one he did was always a problem and never really healed so same as you Lindy, I just took em both out and was done with it. I think if they do them in the wrong place, too far back from the nipple, it screws up and is very painful. I wouldn't do it again.
sounds like a vasovagal syncope response to the pain, a smart piercer would have had you lie down to recover! I fainted once donating blood and got to learn all about it >:D
I've wanted mine done again but the pain I remember I squealed after each one 😭even just watching you get it done I shuddered ahaha probably doesn't help I have a needle phobia 🤣

@@StargazingDragonthey probably just don't react to pain the same? I've yet to tattoo myself but getting a tattoo is relaxing to me, it makes me want to drowse. I have only ever had bad pain once it's done and cling wrap goes on, then it feels like intense fire and takes everything in me not to slap at it constantly
@GwenActually it's not even the needle that gets me it's the rubbing the blood off so they can see what they're doing. It's my own fault because I always go in and get big pieces that they have to keep rubbing during one session. My first was a several hour forearm scar cover up that went over that bump on the side of my wrist. They were trees, so he kept going over it to do the leaves. I do it to myself lol
I hated having mine. It never healed, I took it out and my life is better. Funny though, none of my friends ever had similar problems. My body just hates piercings anywhere but the face and lobes.
Haha, I had the same issue with my nipple piercings. Got them repierced last year...one was crooked 😢 so now that one is out and I plan on repiercing it for a third time. Last chance cause I'm not doing it again after that lol.

I've had mine done three times, and the last time they would never heal so I am forever done with them. It hurt far worse than any other piercings (pick a time, all three nipple times sucked sooooooooo bad) and that includes hood, bellybutton, lip, tongue, ears, cartilage (did my conch myself, even), and the dermal on my chest.
I had a six hour tattoo session two days ago and I'm still in agony and not really able to, or certainly don't want to, use my left arm. I feel like my mucles and bones are bruised from it but I'd do that again over getting my nipples pierced again 😂

Ive had my industrial, trageous, conch, and other random ear piercings, multiple lip piercings, two tongue piercings, two nose piercings and my septum. My nipples were actually one of the easier piercings.
