Straight-line performance is its forte though, as the GLS63's handling-while perfectly acceptable for the performance SUV class-isn't as athletic as the brand's super sedans and sports cars. Its ride is firm, especially on the optional 23-inch wheels, so if you're looking for max comfort, you'll want to look at the Benz-branded GLS instead.
