    I'm surprised the Corvair even got mentioned in this training film. Chevrolet did have one hell of a line up in 1969; Without even mentioning the full size, & the Chevrolet Nova models in this training film.

      Exactly! Where is the SS 427 Impala and the Nova SS 350 or 396?

    Nice dealer film! Mr. sport parachutist must have been a Paratrooper in Vietnam 66 to 67 and made it out alive, still likes the thrill of jumping out of perfectly good aircraft. 😆 I still think the Corvair should have continued in production and updated for 1971.

    The last stand of the Corvair...in fact any customer who wanted information about it had to contact GM to receive a brochure--they weren't being distributed to the dealers anymore.

      yes my dad had a 1969 Corvair 500 Coupe 95 hp 6 and a 4speed once he took off the smog pump and changed the heads it ran good 25 mpg hi way

    to bad the smog pump emissions kills the corvair had 68 monza 140 hp 4 speed posatration had a 65 140hp installed so no clue how a 69 smog engine was ?
