My daughter told me today she hates it when I talk about God and said I'm obsessed and its driving her and my son away from me. (prodigals). As a dental hygienist, I clean teeth but i intercede unbeknownst to each of my patients, for their salvation: THATS whats important! Eternity! However, I really need Gods help with this. I'm just existing at the dental office, its not my REAL calling! Please help me Lord!

That’s how I felt when I was working as a therapist working for Mental Health. But now, I can’t be licensed to do that work, and it’s illegal for me to do that without a license. But I DO feel called to go to South Africa, where it IS legal, but I can’t get a visa allowing me to work there because it’s not on the critical skills list. God knows where He wants me and what He wants me to do there. My wilderness is waiting for God to prepare me for what He’s called me to.
Maybe your calling hasn't come yet. Abraham wasnt called until he was old, moses wasnt called until he was in his 40s etc. Focus on yoir main calling, your relationship with God. Enjoy the timr you have now with Him. Dont go searching for something thats not yours yet. When its time, and youve been prepared, and you are so close to him that you can easily hear him, you will know when you are called and what you are called to.
No, the most important reason to be in our calling is, it pleases God and we are being obedient because we love Him. All rewards, here or in eternity, are secondary to pleasing the Father.
Why is it always wealthy people who are financially comfy who become pastors and do the holier than thou gig? I don’t need an audience to teach . No man can save u all . But I like the effort and enjoyed the show . I just don’t have a clue what to do with my life. Thanks for trying it just didn’t work for me .

I was with you Brother John, until I heard fraternity involvement. I'm judging this with the spiritual measuring stick of THE WORD OF GOD! Scripture says anyone practicing soon is none of His. I don't at all disbelieve that you love God's and you are called because that's God's business. The Scripture specifically share how He will have no other Good before Him. fraternities/sororities have Greek gods associated with them. I pray you can come to the knowledge of this. Very good teaching, but for me I have to respectfully now out!
Obviously his involvement in fraternity was literally YEARS ago while he was in college. He’s not currently involved in the fraternity. Honest question, can you look back at your life 30 years ago and see any sin that you were involved in that you’re not involved in now? How would you respond if someone pointed out one of your past sins and told you that because of your past sin you do not belong to The Father. We are all growing. We are all being made aware of sin that we are to let go of. I encourage you to use wisdom when calling out sin when you do not know the full details. Rather respond out of love by seeking to fully understand the situation, and seek to find ways to pray for your brothers/sisters in Christ instead of pointing out sin that you know nothing about.
