I have spent hours on the internet to find a suitable phone for my needs, and thought I had found the one, the Oukitel wp21, but reviews have said its tinny sound and camera isn’t very good. I do not know id the wp21 ultra is better ? But, could you advise me with your thoughts. I cannot afford anymore than £400. I DONT game on a phone, just want something sturdy, good camera and sound, Infrared might be good but not necessary, and has a good compass. . I haven't tried this phone myself but from what I can tell, I don't expect there to be much difference in the camera quality or speaker quality in the WP21 vs the WP21 Ultra. It looks like it uses the same Sony IMX686 image sensor as the WP21 uses, so I wouldn't really expect much change in the photo quality if at all. And as far as the speaker goes, Unite4Buy says that even though it doesn't have dual speakers with stereo sound, the single speaker is very loud. They don't talk about the quality of the sound, though, which again, I don't think is going to be much different than the WP21. Have you looked at the Doogee S100? The S100 has quad camera setup, dual rear flash, dual infrared night vision lights, it uses the same 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor as the V Max, and can shoot 4K video. Has a pro manual mode so you can adjust the ISO, white balance, shutter speed, etc if you want to. And it's got dual stereo speakers enhanced by Hi-Res. Outside of the USA these phones are extremely expensive! Even the 99$ phone is on Aliexpress, 147€....... The first phone, which I admired was over 400€...... So I will wait for the European editions or buy a different route.

Most will work with AT&T. But AT&T hasn't officially approved them. But if you take a SIM card that has already been activated with AT&T and put it in one of these phones, it would probably work. I have an AT&T SIM card ulefone armor 18t. They tried to deactivate my Conquest phone last year and told me it wouldn't work. I informed them that it was a 4G phone. And I knew what they was doing. I told them that I had been with them for twenty years. And I would change carriers if they did not reactivate my phone. After about an hour of going back and forth, they reactivated my phone.

These are all so cheap compared to my Samsung. I wish they would add flir or night vision. Taking pictures of the moon was only fun the first 10 minutes

The problem is not the phone. The problem is with AT&T. The AT&T frequencies are listed. But AT&T blocks these phones unless you jump through hoops.
