- Hey everyone, I was accompanied by THICF30 today and we took the F30 335XI to the dyno at EuroMpire to test out how we are sitting after revision 7 with our tuner at Wedge. We are doing ok but still have a problem with turbo runaway in 5th gear as you will see in the video, the boost runs up to 30-33psi and that is not good but working that out with Wedge. I am also going to be working with a second tuner soon to have more options and data to show you guys as we compare logs. This is mainly for us to see results from different sources and should be fun to check that out.

I have worked with Twisted, TruePower and PureBoost. By far the best communication with TruePower (Dennis). I also researched David but never saw a good looking PWG log from him.
So far my new tune from David has produced best results for me. Ran a 2.95 0-60 and 10.9 quarter mile. Very clean tune and very knowledgeable in my experience

npharkes absolutely I am working on a dyno day and some logs to share with everyone very soon as we approach finalizing on the tune
I'm currently being tuned by Chris with Motiv tuning, communication and response time is great with no complaints and the tuning is as equally good. Had 2 other tuners that I won't mention and response time and communication was terrible.

Was thinking about wedge as my kit install is almost completed, gonna look into Shoup then. The worst thing in this cases is the lack of response, specially when it's your daily!
Yes I like Wedge but I need more communication then they are providing...

I have thought about it but I left BM3 platform to MHD which I like more and Shoup is doing a great job so I am happy with him currently.
does your 335 have the zf8hp45 trans? if so,how can that thing handle 600whp lol, i thought they were rated for 350whpmax. do you ever plan to drop in a zf8hp70 in case your trans blows up?
So far no problem, it won’t last forever but yes the 45 and plan on doing the zip kit and clutch upgrade on it one day.
@@BOO5Tchannel ahh thats good news, i didnt know they had clutch upgrades for the the zf trans. i want to run big power in my f10 535 was hoping someone would do a trans so the car could be a good daily driver

Hello, yes for this setup 12.5-12.7 is where we want it, the MHD app is not exact real time but on logs we are at target. Below 12 is rich the real hotspot is 12.5
Those are great numbers man, especially on an xDrive. Ive been looking into turbo kits for my F30. I feel like for me I would use a reputable tuner through bootmod3. I do have a couple questions, though. First, was yours an EWG model or PWG?

Hi Chris. I have 2017 mineral grey 340i. M Sport / Track. Been wanting the 437m. Local BMW dealer says no - will be fitment issue on fenders and front strut. Mine is a daily driver - road bumps and all. What size tires you running. Any issues I need to address if I follow your lead? Please advise.
I have exact oem setup from m3 255/35 275/35 and LJ has a 340 same setup no issues...

BOO5T Hi Chris. I followed your lead. Purchased 437m wheels with 255/35 and 275/35 from a fellow here in Dallas. Love them. Your wheel gap front and rear appear identical. My front wheel gap needs to come down 1/2 or so. My 2017 340i has Track Handling Package this the Adaptive Suspension. Like to flexibility of comfort/sport/sport+ settings and the softer highway OEM fell of comfort. Here is the question - do you have lower springs to get the gap? If so will they not mess up adaptive suspension? Please share what you did for perfect front/rear fender gap. Thanks again.
Robert Beaumont I have H&R sport springs and they should not mess with adaptive suspension I think LJ with NoClutchGarage has the adaptive and it’s working fine for him but you can ask him as well
Pure turbo says a b58 with pure800 turbo gets 530whp on 93 oct is that true?
Yes I think that is fairly accurate if you pretty much max out your direct injection with a hpfp. Fuel is a big factor over 450whp

Awesome build man. I'm wanting to upgrade my turbo but I'm not sure what route to take . To get around 500 to 600 whp on my n55 . I'm currently FBO but not sure what turbo I should run any recommendations
Xdrive 335i with bootmod stage 2 e30 tune only think I havent upgraded yet is the HPFP
I’d go with a pure or a BB but both need fueling too so don’t forget to tally in that cost. I made a video a few back letting people know what you need to go big turbo
I'll probably go pure stage 2 turbo . It seems like less hassel and a direct bolt on . Compared to BB or is it worth the extra headache for the BB I'm your opinion

@@BOO5Tchannel no issues with the xdrive system? Cuz i heard the staggered tyres are a risky fit for them, cuz they cause problems with the xdrive system.
Rokas Nkr if your rolling diameter is within 1% there is no issues
@@BOO5Tchannel Wouldn't a 255/35/19 compared to a 275/35/19 have more than 1% difference in rolling diameter? I think it's closer to 2.1% difference. Just wondering.

@@BOO5Tchannel yeah maybe not since its specific to that 5th gear but my ps2 overboosted to 29psi once when it was targetted 22 and it was always overboosting on every pull. i noticed it was after i played around with some vacuum lines but when i replaced the boost solenoid it literally went away; i didn't think it was going to work either lol
