Resale…. those dealers don’t have a limit as to how many they can sell, and because a lot of her pieces are collectors items, you’d be better off, going through a trusted, resale distributor, such as love luxury or fashionphile. I own a few and they’re are all resale… no way I’m spending $50,000 on random stuff just so I can be able to be considered for a quota bag… i’d rather pay a couple thousand dollars more for the bag and get it right away 😂
Birkin’s actually do retain their value this is because you have to be offered one so it can take some time before someone is offered a bag therefore a second hand bag is high in demand and people will pay more for it so buying one is an investment since you can sell it for double what you payed for
