The reality is, most audiophiles are of modest means (I know I am) and just don't have the ideal audiophile space in our homes to accommodate our precious audio systems. So we do the best we can and just make due with whatever space we have available to us. That space could be a small section of ones living room, dining room, family room, etc. There's also WAF that has to be considered. I'm so happy to see that you have assembled a wonderful little set-up that makes very nice sounding music indeed. Do not be discouraged by others. Happy listening.
Thanks! What can you do in a open plan apartment shared with family. It is all about space and needs. I also have a small area for my dj equipment. Actually i am very happy with the sound. Tried many speakers and amps and this is far the best for this quirky living room. Could care less what negative people write in comments. Contour Legacy speakers are limited edition. Just wanted to share a sound clip for those that have them in mind. I wrote that i used the mic in a iphone when i recorded video. So it is what it is!!!
Just a question - doesn’t your soundstage and imaging get affected by the difference in distance from the rear wall as the right had is further out then the left and has more toe in? Or was this done on purpose?
@@Dazzles6969 Purpose! Sofa is not in front and wall is not straight. I move around soeakers all the time. Sometimes i listen in an armchair just in front. Then speaker placement are more straight.
