I love the episode. Blended families are definitely hard due to replacement mom/dad coming into someone’s life. It may not always be accepted but as long as it’s understood it will make progress. Respect amongst everyone from parents to children is what will make the relationship grow. Everyone doesn’t have to like me but dammit everyone have to respect me. See y’all next week. Love y’all.
Often times we don’t hear much of the perspective from the “outsider” coming into a family. As the step mom to a young boy, and marrying his dad, “anything for the child’s benefit” has been my motto and it’s worked. It’s imperative for the “outsider” to be mature and realize, especially that young, if you’re marrying the parent, you’re marrying the child too. They’re a packaged deal! And I love the mess out of that little boy!😊
