My Florida ghost is like those white monsters, EVERY leaf is white/a bit mottled, but white. I can’t believe they’re not crisping up and dropping off!!

OMG, you have the White Monster. I saw it in video in Mr. Kunzo´s nursery. As far as I know, it´s really expensive. But I don´t like it that much - it just too weird 😀
M. obliqua - I found it so much fun to see it as a free plant with an order :-D I was tempted to get it so that I can sit at home and laugh that once mad-expensive obliqua got so crazy cheap now :-D The price development is simply mad 😀

I love the White Monster but I think some of it is knowing how hardy the monstera is. Sp. Columbia is definitely one I want, if you weren't so far from Alaska I would consider buying yours, I think I might try a Canadian shop for a Columbia

RE. White monster, from what I've read & noticed they revert extremely easy. They also are very random in their variegation. I've had pure white, mint white, solid dark green then limey mint all in a row. Propagating them will always bring back the white on the newest leaf. If you pay attention to ones for sale, they are almost always a green old leaf with new white growth. Apparently disturbing the roots will also help with bringing back/keeping consistent variegation but I dunno about that! Seems sketchy.
Wow, I'm obsessed with the beauty of these rare plants! I've got 3 Thai Constellations that I grew from tissue culture - what a challenge! As an artist on a budget, I can't always afford the real thing, so I've started creating realistic versions of any rare or expensive plant I like, without breaking the bank. haha.

I just bought an obliqua the other day and received it today for $15. I remember four years ago when I first fell in love with the obliqua, it was around $1000 or so for a very small cutting/plant. And I remember thinking I’d put that on my wishlist, but there would be no point because I’m never going to buy a plant for that much money. But here we are today, and I now have one and it’s the coolest thing.
Just curious because I’m not an “expert” with tropical plants, I’m only good with succulents….Do you have to have humidifiers in your plant rooms where you keep your tropical so they don’t dry out?
My issue with tropicals is the leaves dry out way too quickly for me. It’s too dry in my house. (Perfect for growing succulents though) 😜
So I’ve given up on buying tropicals and only have a small handful now. Waiting for them to slowly die on me. 😂
Although my croton is doing really really well in my indoor environment. I love that one!
Just curious on how all of you tropical plant growers keep them alive and thriving so well with indoor environments.

The White Monster leaves I would describe as green-static rather than mottled.

Wow, I just had the realization that I own more different Monsteras than Kaylee Ellen but I'm not even selling (that's right, I'm a 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳), what am I doing with my life?
Anyway, wanted to point out that your 'Crème Brûlée' is just a regular Thai, 'Crème Brûlée' has a different beige/brown variegation colour that is somewhat close to café au lait (caffe latte).
Also, there's another very obvious difference between Brazillian common form and regular MD and it's that the fenestrations are fewer but the holes are larger. So with the splits being wider as well, it makes for a higher hole to leaf ratio.
Please make the feed ready for the usa I won't to try it so bad I know I know you said your working on it I just impatient

Kaylee says “I can not move a Large form, I’m sure you can appreciate that.” But she could do the minimum of taking the camera over to show it or even include some b-roll in post.🤷🏾♂️ I would love to see the big mosteras as would everyone, and definitely don’t expect you to break your back doing so. Maybe just a little more effort to show the things are too big or sensitive to move. Other than that I am a big fan of your content and the empire you’ve built for yourself💯
