DAK Friday!! Yay!! Gorilla Falls Trail…an area of Animal Kingdom to NOT rush. Okapi!! Giraffe cousin with their zebra pants on!! I was in the Aviary for about or over 45 minutes on my January visit…just watching the weavers gathering construction materials for their nests…and chatting with a Cast Member (who let me know that all those weavers were building for naught as they only have male of that species in the aviary at that time!!) Aawww! Those young gorillas growing up!! Great capture, 4K!! Loved the stoll…looking forward taking that train again in a little over 90 days!!
I really need to visit this trail way more often! Gotta make more time for it during my AK trips. The cast members in each section are always so nice and informative! Seeing those gorillas interacting with each other was just so cool and I could’ve stayed there for at least an hour lol. Hoping to film Rafiki’s Planet watch next! Thanks so much Rick😃
It really is very relaxing, and seeing the gorillas interact is always super cool. Unfortunately I don’t go through this area often, but really need to make more time for it
Thank you! Your amazing never miss one of your videos. I know a lot of people skip this but it my favorite thing to do at Animal Kingdom. Meerkats and Hippos are the best!!!❤
I really appreciate your support Debbie, thank so much!! Unfortunately I don’t get to walk through the trails much because of my rushed trips to AK, but I really need to make more time for them because they’re so great!
Wow the animals were really active on the trail! I always try to make it here whenever I visit. Heard no more Dreamlights on the castle🙁 bummer. But anyway excellent vid as always 4K.
Yep they were! Seeing the gorillas interact was so cool, especially for me because I rarely ever walk through this path! I heard the same thing about the lights, that is such a terrible move in my opinion but I can’t say I’m surprised unfortunately. That new Studios Christmas event sounds super cool though!! Thanks so much Andrew😃
If I could have my bedroom with glass borders inside that aviary, I totally would. Imagine, waking up to that complete peacefulness every morning. I know I'm aging myself, but, when you showed the naked mole rats, I couldn't help but think of "Kim Possible". I also loved the rowdy gorilla baby. Cutie-pie just wanted someone to play with. (6/16/2023)
🦍Thank you for carving out time to do this trail🦓! A baby!! So nice to see the family showing off the younging. Sadly humans can learn from these creatures how to interact within our species. Now, I know you were there for the gorillas, but let me tell you, I've never seen a hippo🦛from underwater and that was scary & cool at the same time. I know you've made a certain sub's Friday showing this. He'll be besides himself.... p.s. psyched they are bringing back a Jollywood experience which I actually might be able to experience. Christmas miracle #2 pending😁Thx 4💜
No problem Liz! The gorillas definitely are the main attraction for me but seeing that hippo was really cool! I didn’t even remember that hippos were a part of this trail(that’s how little I go through it unfortunately) so that was a nice surprise. Haha I was thinking Rick would be super excited for this one!! And that new Studios Christmas event sounds insanely awesome on paper, so I’m hoping it’ll be just as fun as it sounds! No matter what, I’m just happy to see the Studios getting some heavy love that’s not Star Wars related for the first time in years! Thanks so much as always Liz😊
The trails really are super underrated! Unfortunately I rarely go through them, but only because my trips to AK in particular are always rushed. I really need to make more time for them, especially this one cause I love the gorillas! Thanks so much as always 😊
I am thrilled that Disney's Animal Kingdom promotes Conservation and has a highly successful breeding program for endangered species. Gorilla Exploration Trail and Maharajah Jungle Trek are my two favorite places in the Park to relax for a few hours. I find it fascinating that the birds in the aviaries at both Gorilla Exploration Trail and Maharajah Jungle Trek build such unique nests in which to lay their eggs. Love the interaction between all the members of the Gorilla family. Thanks for sharing this WONDERFUL video! ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife’s favorite spot to take photos.
Oh, and it’s kind of a relaxing g walk, especially when your waiting for the safari or festival of lion king.

@@4KWDW If I had to pick a favorite park( I’m glad I don’t) Animal might be it! Your doing amazing job and we appreciate it!❤️
This is the best way to detox when you’ve had enough of the crowds at Disney. This was lovely
That’s true! The trails are very underrated and I really need to make more time for them!

Best part 0:10 👼
I remember going there when I was like 👍 8!
