A big crowd--including Muhammad Ali--was on hand at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on October 23, 1994 to witness two of the sports biggest star go at it. As usual there were plenty of hits (Hogan vs Flair; Arn vs Dustin Rhodes) and plenty of misses (Kevin Sullivan vs Dave Sullivan), but overall it was a solid show leading up to the arrival of the Dungeon of Doom (ugh!) and a year later, the arrival of the NWO. 1994 was such a down year for wwe and wcw. I thought this was a great show. I knew Ric Flair wouldn't stay retired for long. He only did through the holidays. To me, this was an excuse to write Sensational Sherri away from Flair. She became Sister Sherri. It was funny though to see Bobby Heenan whine about the 3 count. He was a funny baby.

Ok I love Tony Schiavone. He is my personal favorite commentator of all time. However this rap shit, how is it ok for someone in a rap song to say "get dem white folk" but if a white person says same or less about "black folk" itd be pitchfork city and considered horrible to say and racist etc etc.
