Aside from the arms, which I totally agree with you on, the new suit is actually amazing. The colors have been massively upgraded as well as it feeling more slick.
I love the Advanced Suit mk 2! definitely an upgrade imo the colors are better with the darker red and lighter blue and the slight design upgrades, just not a huge fan of the arms either, I hope we dont have to use them a lot as like a main gameplay feature💯 I'm loving these stream clips and discussions Chris!

I think the tentacles are just a suit variant for the new symbiotic mechanics. Kinda like adding the arm upgrade in the first insomniac Spiderman game. which for Hot Toys would be an easy figure to make without risking too much or showing too much.
I don't think the arms are a MAIN THING for peter's combat in Spider-Man 2... they're bassically going to be something for the L1 super attacks, and for what we're seeing, the L1 attacks are able to be super customizable. So i see these these arms as an option. Well, i hope so... i truly hope they have some super attacks that are bassically based around peter's acrobatic and webbing combat prowess because he's been a Spider-Man that never had electric or other weird based powers to fight crime. Another way to deferentiate peter from miles is how more SKILLFUL he is when it comes to his combat. But we shall see.
I get why they did it they did it for 2 reasons 1) They did it cus people are saying Miles is more fun to play as cus he has more powers and cool animations but I don't care about giving Peter more gadgets to try to keep up with Miles he's already cool cus he's the original and he's funny and no one is better than him at that 2) They also did it cus the symbiote gives you so much more power when you through it away it will feel like a big downgrade so they are also giving you the mechanical arms to replace the symbiote abilities but again I don't care if it feels like a dawn grade that's the all point in the symbiote it's meant to feel like a downgrade when you give it up I hope they give us the option to take them off cus it dosnt feel like Spider-Man with them on it feels like a random suit he would where once but it doesn't feel like normal Spider-Man gameplay

What i like about the arms is that they’re a combination of the two previous villains, they’re controlled using a perfected version of Doc Ock’s neural interface that negates the side effects, and they’re made out of Tinkerer’s nanotech
HARD DISAGREE. the legs feel like a extension on spiderman I mean we've had what 50+ years of the same Spidey so it's fine to mix it up. And his mentor was ock in the game so it make sense for him to learn off his tech. Besides I love legs on spiderman. Civil war superior

And it doesn't matter if you never used the spider arms with the advanced suit these are new arms and will give new ways to do things in combat it won't be like the spider as in the first game they will do more. The Advance Suit 2.0 is probably Peter's answer to the Venom Symbiote. I'm guessing he built the legs to fight off the symbiotes tentacles that we saw in the footage. They'll probably have sound and electric attachments to the legs to weaken the symbiote in the final boss fight so that's my in-game lore explanation for the Waldoes.

The reason why he had the arms is because Peter had the symboite. It gave him the extra limbs and tenticles. Once he loses the suit he doesn’t have access to the limbs. He made the arms to make up for the black suit since he got so use to it. It’s meant to replace the extra powers from the black suit
