Για να μη μπερδεύεσαι με πολλά (και ακριβά πράγματα +μετατροπές κλπ), βάζεις εξατμίσεις- φίλτρο και ένα πρόγραμμα (πχ. power commader ) και σταματάς εκεί. Γιατί για παραπάνω μετατροπές αξίζει μόνο άν ξέρεις και τα κάνεις μόνος σου ή αν είσαι μηχανικός. Διαφορετικά βάζεις τα χρήματα των μετατροπών και παίρνεις ένα μηχανάκι γρήγορο από " μαμά". πχ zzr 1400 και ξεμπερδεύεις !

Is your drive gearing lower? I ask because my Bird's calculated top speed with stock sprockets at redline in 6th is over 300 kph. My XX can't pull redline in 6th like this, but it may be your gearing, right?
Great toll trick. BTW, what would be the best year for that bike? 2001-2007 I think the 2001 because it had the new gauges and most hp before the tuned it down a little bit in 2002. What's your advice?
Τhe mods are :.. at the airbox (& sensor ) , KN air filter, remove Pair system, remove Lamda sensor , 02 sensor eliminator , exhausts totally free, and fuel program. ...the remaining mods later...--- I have not measured the hp on the dyno , nor the topspeed with gps. ( The sixth gear reaches at 11000 rpm ).

Θα κερδίσεις λίγο σε νεύρο (περισσότερο σε 5η & 6η θα φανεί ) Στη τελική όμως μέ 6η στις ίδιες στροφές, ενώ το κοντέρ θα σου γράφει τα ίδια χλμ. , θα πηγαίνεις με 17 - 18 χλμ. λιγότερο.
Maybe 99-00 was a "click" faster because they had not been catalysts ( I think.) Better is the 2001 with the new gauges . ( With "open" exhausts without catalyst and " KN " filter .So becomes lighter and faster ! )

Μια ερώτηση, επειδή έχω ακούσει από πολλούς ενώ ήθελαν να αντικαταστήσουν το συμβατικό μπροστά πιρούνι και να βάλουν αντεστραμμένο με κομπλέ φρενακλες τρομπες κτλ κτλ,αυτό δεν το έχω ακούσει να το έχει πετύχει κάνεις άλλος, λόγω του περίπλοκου της κατάργησης της συνδιαζομενης πέδησης αν δεν κάνω λάθος. Όντως είναι δύσκολο,τόσο τεχνικά όσο και οικονομικά?? Επίσης πίσω το ψαλίδι,φαντάζομαι ότι είτε έχεις αντικαταστήσει το ψαλίδι με άλλο από 1000αρι,είτε έχεις βάλεις ενίσχυση γέφυρα στο υπάρχων. Στην περίπτωση αντικατάστασης πλήρως του ψαλιδιου με άλλο, είναι ζόρικη η κατασκευή να κουμπωσει?? Δεν ρωτάω για αλλά σε κινητήρα και ρεύματα, γιατί το γκάζι που έχει μαμά το μηχανάκι με καλύπτει ,αλλά θα ήθελα να του αντικαταστήσω αναρτήσεις φρένα ψαλίδι πιρούνι, σιγά σιγά σε βάθος χρόνου,αλλά αν είναι να βλαστιμησω να το αφήσω εντελώς μαμά.

your XX seems to go better than mine. I hardly reach the 299 speedo, and GPS was about 277 km/h. Is everything stock at your bike? I have an K&N air filter and a MRA racing screen.
When I made this video, I had done a few conversions. Filter, exhausts and a small improvement in fuel supply !!. Later I've done more mods !!.. Ηead conversions, (flow)... Camshafts, ... Power Commander, ... Map on the dynamometer,...Swingarm ...Ohlins rear ...(Look at 2 last video...XX vs Busa )...!!!.. Now I have put front USD with radial brakes .. radial pumps (brake + clutch)....αnd much more !!!

Μηχανικά δεν έχω πειράξει "ακόμα" το μοτέρ. Έχω βελτιώσει - μετατρέψει - καταργήσει άλλα πράγματα που αφορούν "εισπνοή - εκπνοή του μοτέρ - και ηλεκτρονικά .
Σε ρωταω γιατι βλεπω σε πολλα βιντεο με τα παλαιοτερα μοντελα honda blackbird δεν εχουν αυτην την σπιρταδα και την δυναμη οσο το πιο καινουργιο μοντελο!!!

rouven schnee Lightness would afford more quickness, but not top speed. What these bikes face at tops speed is WIND RESISTANCE. It is exponentially greater as high speeds increase, and the only thing keeping a 150 bike of any kind from doing 200 mph (320 kph) is the resistance of the wind. Bike builders have generally calculated that a Bird or Hayabusa or ZX-14 type of bike needs about 200 HP to reach 200 mph. Just an estimate that they toy with. A V&M monster XX did 200 with about that HP. It was piped, ported/flowed and had the fueling optimized. All about the wind, not the weight.
the very first are from late 1996 not 1999. 1999 was the year when injection was introduced. You can tell this is a late model by the digital speedometer. The old ones are analogue...
another guy who does not understand that going beyond the engines peak power delivery is a waste of time ! and makes you lose quickness. unless modded that is >> ??

Hi Tony . In most Japanese-bikes the speedometer stop writing in 299 kph If you notice in the video , at the 10300 rpm , reaches 299 kph, and still revs up to 11000 ..... It is moreover 20+.kph.. Normally the speedometer should show 320+ kph ..

These are great bikes, I've had 2 of them! Both were 97' models, bought my 2cnd one after I sold my ZX14! Great video....thank's.

I don't now with GPS..!!! . When tachometer show 299 ...then the "XX" raises another 1000 rpm , without writing the extra Km !!

Μηχανικά δεν έχω πειράξει "ακόμα" το μοτέρ. Έχω βελτιώσει - μετατρέψει - καταργήσει άλλα πράγματα που αφορούν "εισπνοή - εκπνοή του μοτέρ - και ηλεκτρονικά .
Αυτό φαίνεται. Η 6η κατεβάζει 11000 στροφές. Για όλα τα υπόλοιπα νομίζω ότι σε καλύπτω από τις προηγούμενες απαντήσεις μου.

Σε ρωταω γιατι βλεπω σε πολλα βιντεο με τα παλαιοτερα μοντελα honda blackbird δεν εχουν αυτην την σπιρταδα και την δυναμη οσο το πιο καινουργιο μοντελο!!!

" XX " had some improvements . (I wrote about it , a long time ago)....Now, I did more modifications and improvements !
The aerodynamic of the 1100 xx was designed to reach that speed, this is the reason why is faster (as top speed) than the cbr 900
this version is probably a non stock bike. from factory, you can't go higher than 10800rpm (engine cut)
rouven schnee Lightness would afford more quickness, but not top speed. What these bikes face at tops speed is WIND RESISTANCE. It is exponentially greater as high speeds increase, and the only thing keeping a 150 bike of any kind from doing 200 mph (320 kph) is the resistance of the wind.
Bike builders have generally calculated that a Bird or Hayabusa or ZX-14 type of bike needs about 200 HP to reach 200 mph. Just an estimate that they toy with. A V&M monster XX did 200 with about that HP. It was piped, ported/flowed and had the fueling optimized.
All about the wind, not the weight.

They are all injection. Only very first 1999 are carbs. You can clearly see this is a late model.
the very first are from late 1996 not 1999. 1999 was the year when injection was introduced. You can tell this is a late model by the digital speedometer. The old ones are analogue...
Not neccesarily true on the year. Mines a 2000 registered W reg still on carbs.

Hi Tony . In most Japanese-bikes the speedometer stop writing in 299 kph If you notice in the video , at the 10300 rpm , reaches 299 kph, and still revs up to 11000 ..... It is moreover 20+.kph.. Normally the speedometer should show 320+ kph ..
