Oh fantastic !! I hope this is a game changer for you once the strap is adjusted. I wonder if they shortened the strap length in recent versions as I’ve heard they had modified the strap length to be shorter in recent years. Hope you get more use out of it now as it’s such a practical bag !!

You are a genius with coming up with a way to turn it into a handheld bag. I can use it as an evening bag or for a semi to formal party. It’s really adorable when it becomes a handheld. Thank you.
Ohhhh I love both the Lindy 26 and the mini. It really depends how much you need to put in the bag . Pick the one that suits your capacity first and then Yiu can go for the other one after ! I use the Lindy 26 for work and the mini Lindy for casual/weekends !!
OMG, Clara, I NEED this bag!!! hahaha! If you were to get one between Chanel Mini reissue and/or reissue 225, vs. lindy mini, which one would you get? Which do you wear more? I've been thinking of the mini reissue in so black or reissue 225 in navy with gold, Constance mini vs mini lindy ...... I don't need all of them because then, I'll have too many bags..... first world problem. hahaha! Thanks for showing us how versatile this little bag is! 👍
HI Maggie, I would base the decision on how much you need to carry and what you already own to complement your existing collection. The reissue to me is slightly dressier because of the chains and the Mini Lindy is more casual. If you need a casual bag that will crossbody the Mini Lindy is the way to go. If you want something that transitions day to night the reissue (while not an evening bag) will transition better. In terms of size, like I said make the decision based on how much you need to carry on a day to day basis. I own both and use and love them for different purposed. Maybe the mini lindy is still every new but I tend to reach for it much more although I haven't seen the rest of my collection for 4 weeks now as I've been travelling and on quarantine and I ONLY brought my Mini Lindy which I found fit all my purposes for travel and obviously I"m not using a bag in the room! ;). Good luck in your choice but I do highly recommend the Mini Lindy for a casual bag. It's not easy to get so if you find one or get offered I would take and RUNNNNNNN!
@@ClaraZeela Thanks Clara! I texted my SA at Hermes and asked for mini Lindy and mini Constance. 😂 As to the mini reissue, it's hard to find that at the store and I don't want to pay over retail on the preloved market..... so, I'm keeping my eyes open. 😉
I generally don’t keep it tied up like a top handle for too long and use it more as a crossbody. At the end of the day I usually undo it to its natural state. I don’t see any damage to the bag so far. It’s a slight bend and there is no harsh twisting or bending of the strap. I think it’s okay as long as you don’t leave the strap like that for many days. Also I think it would just cause the strap to have a slight curvature but would probably straighten out if you continually used it as a shoulder or crossbody. Hard to explain but if you had the bag and tried it you would see that it really is a light wrap around the bag and not a harsh twist of any sort.

Thank you Sandy. I"m about 5 for 4 and I find the strap length is fine for both shoulder carry and crossbody. However for those that find the strap long these are also some very easy options to make it work! Especially the first way where it easily converts from hand carry to shoulder carry which can also be used as cross body!

Just sharing a perspective - Having all three bags myself I vote for mini reissue due to price points. Love to hear Clara s view hehe
