I love their relationship, canonically platonic or not, the onscreen chemistry Jensen and Misha are able to create is amazing. They’ve easily become my favorite actors. I know the pairing won’t end up canon, and Jensen has said it won’t, so I respect that. Whether the writers acknowledge Destiel- I'm praying to Chuck they do- or not, these little moments, from the adoring glances to the heart-crushing confessionals and epiphanies where they vow not to hurt the other at any cost, make for an epic, epic 11 season love story. Whether we're imagining this sexual tension- we're not- or simply taking this friendship out of context-again, I don't think we are- their relationship still feels so innocent.
I had honestly never shipped a canon friendship as much as them to the point where I just feel in my heart of hearts that it’s real. I’m so thankful to the writers for creating this kind of relationship - as you say, whether they acknowledge it overtly or not.
