- Biblical meditation is characterized by a thorough and thoughtful consideration of what God is saying to us. Our meditations with Him deepen our devotional life and our fellowship with Him. But sometimes He may call us to do more than listen and learn. It is then that we need His courage to act.
In this message, Dr. Stanley highlights five important aspects of meditating on Scripture. As they become habit, we will communicate with God more confidently, absorbing and applying what He says. Absolutely. I had already made a similar comment before I got to read yours. So true. So very true, and I am so glad and thankful for it. Praise God for the few faithful in the land. Dr. Stanley has got to be so sensitive to the spirit of God, and so committed to the will of God in order to hear what messages need to be preached exactly when. He would not know that because he doesn’t know who will be listening or watching at any given time; but God knows, and he uses this man this yielded man to speak in His perfect timing for each person. Everyone who needs to see this or hear this will hear it or see it at exactly the right time. The same is true for the other messages. Only Mighty God could designed this to work this way.

When I was fasting I come across that verse and ever since I’ve never forgotten it and it gets me through anything I mean anything I’m battling I love God and God is love so I can’t go wrong loving him, I need prayer I’m about to do a final exams and I’m having a fight spiritually pray I be strong and courage. Thank God this precious servant of the Lord has been faithful all of these many years to bring a word in due season to countless people including myself. It takes a yielded life to produce there, and he obviously has had and is having and will continue to have by God’s grace, a yielded life.
Powerful words this morning. I thank God for Dr. Stanley and team. As he was teaching on meditating, I realized I didn’t meditate enough on my devotional scripture today (Proverbs 30:32) and it slipped right out of my mind. I went over it again to hide the Word of Almighty God in my heart. I pray you all have a blessed day in Christ.

with another,

judge trivial cases ?
3 Do you not know that
we will judge angels ?
How much more
the things of this life.
4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters,
appoint as judges
even men of little account
in the church.
5 I say this to shame you.
Is it possible that there is
nobody among you wise enough to judge disputes between believers ?
6 But instead one brother goes to law against another--and this in front of unbelievers.
7 The very fact that you have
lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already.
Why not rather be wronged ?
Why not rather be cheated ?
8 Instead, you yourselves
cheat and do wrong,
and you do this to your brothers.
9 Do you not know that
the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God ?

-- but God will destroy them both.
The body is not meant for sexual immortality,
but for the Lord
and the Lord for the body.

your bodies are members of Christ himself ?
Shall I then take
the members of Christ
and unite them with a prostitute ?
Never !
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself
with a prostitute is one with her in body ?

with him in spirit.
18 Flee from sexual immortality.
All other sins a man commits are outside his body,

Praise God for pastor Stanley, he and Jimmy Swaggart are only the few evangelist that still preach, teach from the word of God and not make it into a sideshow. I was invited to a church where light were shining and the pastor was intruduced like a talk show host or a comedian and all he did for an hour was crack jokes nd rarely read from scripture. I thank God that my church is like Dr. Stanleys, the church is respected, the word of God is respected.
