Thank you for posting an HONEST video of propagation. Usually, I see the propagation videos and the person who is making the video shows that ALL or most of their cuttings have rooted and grown successful plantings. I go to do that and most of mine die. It is very frustrating and makes me feel like a failure. Now, I can plant many and know that not all of them are going to make roots and probably at least half will die. Now, I will go and start my new wisteria vines. :- )
Excellent tutorial, I put all my cuttings on the north side of my house ( northern hemisphere) they are in shade, but get bright indirect light. I am getting ready to set up some wisteria today. They are so beautiful. For those who haven’t grown them, I had one in moderate shade, just sun through light leaf canopy. It was there three years did not do much. I switched it to half day full sun and it has gone wild.
You answered all of my questions. Thanks for such a wonderfully informative video. I absolutely love wisteria. Thanks again. Greetings from Kokomo, Indiana, U.S.

Question: towards the point where the leaves have sprouted in the cuttings and the fall has arrived, where do you place (e.g. garage or kitchen) the pot of new wisteria plants in the winter before planting them in the spring, and how frequently do you water them while waiting through the winter?

You should bring it inside in winters at least when plants are young
Do I have to cover them with a plastic bag?
I didnt and the leafs look dead now
Plastic bag keeps the cuttings in humid environment. Don't give up on them yet. Keep misting them and keep the soil moist.
Can use a 2 liter sofa bottle for a green house effect. Just cut it where narrow part meets widest area plant stem in a pot use bottle to cover.
That works too
