    Very interesting story👍

    I love Blender! I made the jump from Max 2020 to Blender as Max went downhill, no longer able to render and other things. Max 2014 was awesome. 2020, horrible. So I learned Blender, and it is absolutely awesome. Many times better then Max. I am presently running in 4.2 Alpha. I use it in the Aerospace Simulation field.

    Hi Berk,
    I'm graduating at the end of this month as a Mechanical Engineer in South Africa and was wanting to look for a way to pursue car design. I've been thinking of maybe doing an industrial design degree as well, do you think it would be worth looking into? or Should I just start creating a portfolio for my designs using software like blender?
    Keep up with the great content!

      Hi Jason, for getting a job, most of the companies ask for a design degree now. So studying industrial design would be very beneficial. Or maybe doing masters. But after that most important is your portfolio, you need to develop your skills and show your ideas in a great portfolio. Combining this with degree will be best option :)

    Yet there is a mentality that you must use Alias (however you buy it or learn) and maybe you use only in some stages.
    With blender or lowpoly modeling you can have fast ways to check your designs, presentations, good quality’s renders…

      exactly! I used Alias mostly at my masters.. very very rarely at work..

    Hi B;
    Have you ever used/tested Greasepencil for design sketching?

      Hey J,
      I did very short experiment on it, I will go detailed later. Did you use it?

      I was just curious what a car designer could do with it ;) But never saw a professional Car Designer give it a try!

      I just revisited GreasePencil myself again, and i am really excited! This could get even better then GravitySketch...When you test it, make sure you use Blender 3.1 alpha- as the devs just implemented a Shrinkwrap modifier for GreasePencil- which is simply amazing! Real 3D Sketches seem possible now! ruclips.net/video/UWWedywZkEw/видео.html
      I defined a few Sections/Planes as Meshes- an could Sketch onto them- and as a modifier is none destructive- I can even tweak and fine tune the Projection Planes afterwards! Now I just need to learn to sketch properly :)
