After losing hundreds of pounds, and undergoing reality TV’s most shocking transformation, Mama June is gaining back the weight and the pressure is on to keep it off. In an outrageous weight loss competition, Mama and her arch-nemesis, Jennifer are going pound-for-pound at fit camp. But Mama finds herself stressed out when faced with unexpected pregnancy news which intensifies when her boyfriend Geno gets into trouble with the law. Following her surprising debut on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson embarks on her first teenage romance and a new career in showbiz while Pumpkin, Josh, and the cutest baby in the state of Georgia, Ella, are moving out of June’s house and into their own chaos - embroiled in Josh’s get-rich-quick schemes.

I WILL say....I wasn't sure about Josh in the beginning, but he IS very protective of Alana and now that Alana is living with them, he has stepped up as a father-type figure for her. He stood up to Sugar Bear and said "I am sending Alana and Pumpkin to LA because I want Alana to get away from the toxic drama and the pain that is coming from her mother and Geno. I am doing this to protect Alana. I have heard him express on multiple occasions that he wants her to get back into school and be a normal, happy kid. I am glad that Alana has Pumpkin and Josh's love and support since CLEARLY she's not getting it from her mother right now.

@@danedee6563 I live in the same city they do and rumor is they had are in talks about a spin-off. I'd watch & it'd probably do great in ratings. Pumpkin REALLY has impressed me the last few seasons. She REALLY stepped up & Josh is an added bonus. They're still the same ol down to Earth people. No one here really reacts to them so if there is a commotion it's always 'razzis or out of towners in Walmart asking to take a pic w/ them. My son was in school with Alanna until he started a performing arts academy this school year & my heart hurts for her. She's a sweet & funny kiddo That age is hard enough without adding everything else in. This place is too small for June & Geno's every cray cray move not to be scrutinized tenfold. So, when their bat shit craziness began, her children felt the drama and backlash. My parents live in the subdivision June's old home was in & she TRASHED that place. Online reports didn't show the half of it. The new owners had to completely gut pretty much the entire house down to wiring. I assumed they got a great deal but for all those months it was under reconstruction, it'd probably have been easier & cheaper to just build a brand new one.

Pumpkin and Josh remind me of when my husband and I got custody of my little sister when she was 14 while my husband and I were 19 & 20 with two babies of our own. My sister graduated with honors and just finished nursing school with 0 kids of her own. I'm proud of my husband and I for getting her through high school and then college but I'm especially proud of my sister for never giving up through all the stuff she went through cause I know it was hard on her at 14.
Pumpkin and Josh should be very proud of their selves and know they'll always do what's best for Alana. Pumpkin I'm glad and proud that you did not continue the cycle of finding dead beat men like your mom and are showing Alana what a real marriage is suppose to be.

Well, you can’t really blame people for choosing the wrong men... dv relationships are very complex. Pumpkin happened to be blessed that Josh stepped up. It has nothing to do with her choosing the right man.... He just chose to be a good man.
I’m considering taking custody of my 13 year old brother and I’ll be turning 19 in August .. my parents are just not cutting it parenting wise. They ruined mine & my sisters childhood / life’s and I just can’t sit back and allow it with my brother because I’m sooo protective over him.. I’m just afraid of how hard things will be. I could always go back to my grandparents if bills got too expensive or something, but I just want him to be happy with a normal life. Or as close to normal as I can make things for him considering what we’ve been handed in life.
My mother threatens me with really bad stuff when I try to talk to her about me getting custody or partial custody.
And I also want to add that my sister and me always had each other to lean on for support and emotional stability , etc since we grew up a year apart in age. but my brother is a bit younger than us and it’s not like that for him.. advice ??? I just wanted to get this off my chest really.
Sorry for typing an entire book I just needed to rant somewhere that I won’t be judged too harsh. Hopefully

What I find ludicrous is Sugar 🐻 was "quote" fighting so hard for some type of custody in front of the cams but when he was given the holy grail of a chance for full time custody of honey boo boo he said No and Jennifer said we don't have room for her. Pumpkin didn't have room for her either and had a pretty full life with a new baby and husband apartment jobs and she didn't even blink and got a bigger place that's what love is.

Pumpkin will check her crazy, obnoxious, spiteful, greedy a$$! Its gonna be hard on Pumpkin to have to try and deal with Jennifer because we all know that Jennifer runs Sugar Bear's life. I don't believe for one second that Jennifer would give a flying flip about Alana's life if she didn't think there would be some kind of financial benefit from gaining custody of her. It's either that or just because she has a control issue and wants to be the person calling the shots over Alana. Either way I'm certain Jennifer is gonna be a thorn in Pumpkin, Josh's and Alana's sides!
@Carrie Flynn.. I agree! Jennifer seems to think she is owed something, even commenting that it's "her time to shine".. she is ridiculous! What on earth makes her think it is her time to shine. No one would even know who she was, if she hadn't been featured on June's show. Even now, she is barely known. Most who know her from the show don't seem the least bit impressed with her. You can be sure she would have zero interest in custody of Alana, if she didn't feel it would benefit her somehow or get her more attention. I wish they wouldn't even feature her on here. That just makes her think she is some star. The truth is she is just notorious for her nasty attitude and her attempts at trying to be June!

I really hope that they realize no matter which house she goes into shes going to be broken and its going to take a lot of time to heal.
